Baker Plbg: Okay. On this, at a... episode. of Barn Banter. It's been a while. It's been busy. getting ready for winter. We're going to talk about. editing the editing business. There's a lot of folks.
Baker Plbg: Getting into the editing business where they try to like rewrite their own history whether we see it in personal lives We see it historically We certainly see it politically.
Baker Plbg: um I am certainly a proponent. of looking into the past and seeing what we left behind, what we might be able to carry forward, and what... We still carry...
Baker Plbg: might actually... be downright counterproductive. doing so. helps us decipher how we arrived at this point in our lives.
Baker Plbg: But when you rewrite your personal history... It. Absolutely leads to. inauthis - ah inauthentic. feelings and quite frankly, like relationship problems.
Baker Plbg: um research The research that I've read clearly shows... um ah That on a purely psychological level people rewrite the personal histories to avoid looking at the buried skeletons that are lurking in their past They invent a brand new shiny cover that...
Baker Plbg: It. That just makes them look. Fantastic. But it's, quite frankly, dangerous to your health. Like what are you guys doing? These same studies reveal that suppressing emotions can lead to depression. anxiety. fatigue.
Baker Plbg: and addictions. and a myriad of other elements. Some folks rewrite their histories to gain something they want. These duplicitous folks will go to any length to spin.
Baker Plbg: or twist the facts. and sadly the more times that they tell this their tales The, the. truer the twisted The truer the twisted version is to them basically what they claim others did, they are doing themselves.
Baker Plbg: These people obviously, or I think, suffer from self -esteem issues. I don't know if they maybe they don't feel good enough. Um... They have to reinvent. They're literally claiming to be the heroes and victims.
Baker Plbg: of their own stories. And I don't mean... I see things differently type of conversations. I mean. downright lies. And just... Just to be clear.
Baker Plbg: To be perfectly clear. And this goes to some of my own family members. You know. I have every single communication Tanya. Terry.
Baker Plbg: Uh... All of you. yeah
Baker Plbg: the the Every Facebook message you've sent me, every text you've sent me, every email you've sent me, and you're thinking right now. Did I send you anything? Yeah, you did Do you think that those messages to me?
Baker Plbg: correspond to the stories that you're telling now? No they don't. not Not even remotely. And. I guess this is your chance to knock it off.
Baker Plbg: ah
Baker Plbg: But... When you question their narratives or the narrative, whatever that is, whether, like I say, it's historical. political. the storyteller when the storyteller is questioned That's when the gaslighting ensues. Like it's the next tactic.
Baker Plbg: Uh, Gaslighting and lying are... identical twins. with very subtle differences. gas like liking or gas lighting can make Uh...
Baker Plbg: the victim feel crazy.
Baker Plbg: Anyway. The liars will be exposed. The storytellers. ah Well... be challenged on the facts of their stories. Because the narrative that you are spinning is absolutely a facade.
Baker Plbg: These... Whiny wicked women and there's a lot of them out there And I like I'm not talking. you know. I'm not talking about women generally.
Baker Plbg: but there are a specific subset of women that have made poor choices in their lives. that. have associated with Bad men. in their lives. And now feel.
Baker Plbg: that the only way to sort of justify uh they're existence is to attack good men. And I don't understand that but Just...
Baker Plbg: For my personal note. uh, The campaign to end that begins now. And you all. that have been involved in that will regret.
Baker Plbg: to your dying day. being involved. in those. Wow. Telling of tables. Tales. of those fabricated fables. Um, and that you have tried to spin to make yourselves be the victim and the hero at the exact same time.
Baker Plbg: History is important. I am a I love history. I love looking at it. I love... dissecting it. I love. the lessons that it learns. But it's really only valuable if we're willing to see the good and the bad in the histories that we study and the decisions that are made and trying to understand why those decisions were made.
Baker Plbg: And that'll be part of my process on a personal level is trying to understand why these decisions were made and what their, I mean, we know what their, I know what their expected outcome was.
Baker Plbg: That will not happen because what you've done is lie. And everybody knows you've lied. And every time you try and retell the tale. Yeah to a different person or with a different detail you only continue to expose yourself As.
Baker Plbg: whiny. Wicked. women. I have all the receipts My thoughts, not yours. Have a great day, though. My life is spectacular.
