Speaker: So, Inter beat Fiorentina 2 -1 to win the Coppa Italia. Nima, what can Inter learn from this victory ahead of the Champions League final? They can learn how not to do, not to behave, because if they do and play with the attitude that they did against Man City, they're going to be battered, completely battered, 5 -6 -0. So that's the main lesson to take away.
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: But on the other side of it, they also won despite not playing well, and they suffered, which is something Simonian Zaghi also said after the game, that that's the secret to their cup success, being able to know how to suffer. But they won mainly thanks to the world class striker they have in Lautaro Martinez, who showed just how good he can be when he's on form, and he is very much on form. Now,
Speaker: Is he one of the best strikers in the world in terms of the one of the most elite strikers? No, I think he's about a 5 -10 goals off that pace to be mentioned the same breath as them. But he improves every single season. And if he were to stay at Inter, because they play with a two man striker system, which really suits him. And if he continues to develop and he stops being patchy and scores 5 -10 goals more, then yes, we can talk about an elite striker.
Speaker: Someone who is not having an elite time is Max Alegri. There is talk now of him resigning or Juventus sacking him. What are your thoughts on this Carlo?
Speaker: Well, we're starting to see who the possible options are to replace him. Zinedine Zidane, Igor Tudor, Antonio Conte, Luciano Spelletti, Palladino Dizerpi, Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique, Montero, Vincenzo Italiano. These seem to be the main options, at least with the bookmakers. If you had to ask me who I would go for out of those, I think Spelletti would be the ideal coach because he is the
Speaker: the best coach out of those in terms of rebuilding, taking Juventus, let's say, from C to B at the very least, the presence of Junterli, who should be joining Juventus this summer, also helps. So I would go for Spelletti out of those guys.
