A few weeks ago, the AIC team had the opportunity to see Transformers 1 during anime NYC, and good news everybody, it's out in theaters this week.

Without spoiling anything, I can comfortably speak on behalf of the entire team here when I say that the movie was nothing short of incredible. From the animation style to the story and to the repositioning of 40 years worth of Transformers lore, I think this movie will thrill old and new fans alike as it sure did us.

Don't let the trailers fool you either while kids will certainly enjoy the ride and should experience the ride with you. This film is just as much for adults with a healthy balance of comedy and depth. The voice actors did a great job. The new characterizations are fantastic. It is the story that you love from Transformers. And honestly, for me, the best way that I can say it is the Transformers do all of the things that you wanted to see the Transformers do in your head. ah The things that you imagined with the toys growing up.

it it is It is fantastic. Check out Transformers 1 in theaters on September 18th. I just checked. It already has a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is fantastic. I also was reading the other day that apparently there is already a sequel lined up provided this movie sticks the landing with audiences. So please, please, please, please give it a shot. Go see it. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

PulseCon happened last week. And while there's way too much to cover completely here, you can find out all the coverage, see all the reveals, all the pre-orders, all that good stuff at AIC see underscore podcast on Instagram. But I'll give you some quick highlights here. Starting with Marvel Legends, Dragon Man is up for pre-order now through October 17th. There is no order minimum. This is not a Haslab, it is a made to order item. You give Hasbro $85 and you will get a massive Dragon Man in return.

It gets you free shipping on Dragon Man, as well as a bunch of other stuff throughout the year. Totally worth it if you are invested in any of the lines that we're talking about through Hasbro. The Marvel Legends team also announced the full wave of Secret Wars themed figures on beautiful retro cardbacks with lenticular shields. It's all there. Very, very cool.

um and the final for now, air quotes for now, VHS 2-pack for Spider-Man the Animated Series featuring Vulture and Spider-Man. GI Joe showed off renders for Law and Order as well as Heavy Duty and put the latest wave of four new Joes up for pre-order. The Transformers team put their final legacy wave up for 2024, that's up for pre-order, and the Star Wars team revealed the latest Black Series and vintage collection releases and pre-orders including a new Farm Boy Luke for vintage collection and a Moss Eisley street playset. And this is all, of course, a part of that Return to Tatooine project. For those of you that backed the Cantina, the Farm Boy Luke and and street level playset for Moss Eisley obviously meant to interact with that Hazlab that closed earlier this year. So the set does interconnect with the Cantina.
