I'm talking with Nora Livingstone, the CEO and co-founder of Animal Experience International, an award winning B Corp that helps people volunteer on animal welfare and conservation projects. She is also Hosting the first panel at the 2023 Emerging Voices for Animal in Tourism Conference. We are going to discuss her amazing work sending much needed volunteers to eco/tour/vacation in a way that is ethical and beneficial for the animals, science, local communities. We will also discuss the 2023 EVAT conference and what she is excited to learn!

Guest: Nora Co-founded AEI, an award winning B Corp that helps people volunteer on animal welfare and conservation projects. Nora is also is the host of Fanimal's Animal Chat Time where she talks to animal lovers of all ages about narwhals, flying snakes, binturongs and more! She has danced in the CN tower as a panda, Ivor Wynne stadium as a red tailed hawk, Birmingham Grand Central Station as a river otter and on the banks of the Cowichan River as a chinook salmon.

Host: Marika completed her MA in Anthrozoology at the University of Exeter, UK in 2016 and upon moving back to the Seattle area of Washington state she joined the board of Homeward Pet Adoption Center. She also holds a University degree in Zoology (UW) and a CPDT-KA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

Now, host of The Deal with Animals, she enjoys chatting authors, nonprofits, professionals, academics and enthusiasts about the various disciplines of Anthrozoology.
