Instead of focusing on that end goal of whatever you're trying to make, try just improving your pottery each and every single time you step on the wheel. You make your sculptures or your hand building, whatever it is, or your slip casting. Just try to make it look better, just a little bit, a little bit better. That's it. All you need is 1%.
