Speaker: Luca Jović from Real Madrid. First we heard reports that he was going to join Fiorentina on a dry loan just for 12 months. Then reports came that no, actually what's going to happen is he's going to get a free transfer from Real Madrid and he's going to join Fiorentina on a free transfer and when he joins Fiorentina on a free transfer after after one or two years he can leave for a specific sum if he wants to or he can stay. Let's start there. Fantastic deal for Fiorentina.
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: So, Fiorentina is a win -win situation at these terms, unless he doesn't perform, but then they've only paid half of his salary, which for Fiorentina is going to be 2 .5 million. So, it's the average wage for a good player at Fiorentina.
Speaker: Another player that looks to be leaving as well is Nikola Milenkoevich. And Inter seem to be really keen on him. There's so many reports saying that Inter have blocked him either. Blockato. But I mean, what's the status of the negotiations? Is it true that he has a verbal agreement that he's allowed to leave for 15 million euros?
Speaker: There was a lot of interest for Nikola Milankovic in recent years. He's been a really good player from Fiorentina and he's really young as well. So it's kind of hard to find such an experienced player who's only, especially an experienced defender, who's only 24, is still in his prime.
Speaker: He renewed his contract for one more year last summer, but there was a gentleman agreement between the parts that they were going to leave him. They were going to allow him to leave this summer if a good offer came. And even Prodé confirmed that he said if a big club comes and knock on Fiorentina's door asking for Milenko, which
Speaker: They'll allow him to go and interest right now. Inter are in advanced talks with the player and with the club.
