Hello. Hi. It's us. My hair is doing this weird thing and I don't really like it. out It like, yeah, it's like hits on the, my, uh, it looks like I have no hair whenever it does that, but it hits all like headphones and it like just stethers at that awkward length.
00:01:00
Speaker
Anyway, mine just feels poofy. So no, I like it. It's really cute. Thanks. It's really, really cute. It feels like a poof ball.
00:01:11
Speaker
No, I love it. Every time I see your hair fixed like that with the waiver thing, I'm like, oh, I want long hair again so I could do that. But then I'm like, no. Then I have to grow out my hair.
00:01:23
Speaker
They make a smaller waiver. Tymo does. I know. I need to get that. I actually was talking with Mike's mom about this the other day because since we're going to the BTS concert, um depending on when this releases – It might be right before the BTS concert.
Special Book Talk Bonus Episode
00:01:40
Speaker
So if there are any ARMY in Tampa that are going to the BTS concert on April 26th, hit me up.
00:01:49
Speaker
but because that's where I will be. And then it was blood seats because that was the only tickets we could get, but but it's okay. But I was talking to her about that. Cause I was like, I would love to do my hair like that because we were looking at like, you know, with Taylor Swift, you know, how everybody like dressed in like her different eras and stuff. And so like I dressed reputation era for her tour. We were looking at trying to do that for BTS. And there's like this, people are talking online about how maybe you should dress up in the era that was popular whenever you discovered BTS or something. And so i was like, okay, like trying to look at like some of the different things. And I was like, maybe I should get like a crimper or something because I remember the
00:02:35
Speaker
I don't know what era this was, but when fake love came out is like the first video that I ever saw of BTS. And I was like, oh my God. who are these hot men on my screen? And I remember, think Suga had his hair in one of the scenes like crimped, like with an old school crimper. kind of want one of those. And she's like, just get a ri ah like a waiver. And I'm like, have you seen my hair? Like it's very short. You got get the little tiny guy. It has like little barrels and everything. So it doesn't make your hair like. Yeah. It would just be like one barrel.
00:03:11
Speaker
Like, you know what I mean? Like, if I did like a normal size one, it would just like one crimp in it. Yeah. I think with the length of your hair, you could probably get two, but I feel like it would poof it. Yeah. Because the barrels are so big on mine. Yeah. So, but they do make a smaller one. So you should do that. need find the smaller one. I still have my big one that I haven't been able to use in, don't know, probably three and a half years. It has been short for a while. Yeah.
00:03:37
Speaker
I do love it short. Ugh. But. We aren't talking about hair today. we're not. And for half y'all that are, i mean, well, some of you guys will be able to watch this. Yeah. For those of you who are listening to it, you're you don't give a shit about what our hair looks like. so Yeah, no.
00:03:57
Speaker
No. No, no. This is a long requested episode. more than once requested, several times requested that we just have never done.
00:04:12
Speaker
Right. And we're doing it as a bonus because we're not even talking about anything witchy today. No, we're not. Unless any of the books happen to have anything to do with magic, which i don't, I mean, I guess some of them might, but only like magic, yeah, magic adjacent. That's good.
00:04:32
Speaker
Because this is like a, basically this is This is a witchy book talk. Not talk, like TikTok.
00:04:43
Speaker
This is our book talk. So get in, loser. We're talking books. We're talking fantasy books, probably, mostly. shows and some of the podcasts we're listening to or just listen to in general. absolutely.
00:05:02
Speaker
Yeah, so I'm going to go over. for We have it kind of broken down in different sections. So first is like what we're reading currently.
BTS Concert Experience and ARMY Meetup
00:05:10
Speaker
So i i and I brought my books with me. So if you're watching this, you're welcome. You're welcome. The first book that I am currently reading is Ackowar, Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. This is the third book in the Court of Thorns and Roses series. I was going to say trilogy, but there's definitely more than three books. yeah um
00:05:36
Speaker
and This is the book with Daddy Reese. We will have another episode where we talk more about Daddy Reese, but yeah because we did also have a request on who the hell is Daddy Reese. And some of the other characters that we've talked about.
00:05:51
Speaker
is the main love interest in the first of four books of A Court of Thorns and Roses. Yep. Yep. Yep. But I guess he I guess the main love interest in three, because if we want to be yeah like more like the first book, it was a completely different love interest.
00:06:10
Speaker
But yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So this is my like, I think, fourth time rereading the series. I really like it. It's a good series. It's not my favorite of her series, though.
00:06:23
Speaker
Absolutely not. Yeah, absolutely not. Throne of Glass, come on. Literally. This is a really good series. also my Throne of Glass books are still in a box. um So for those of you who are watching this, we're in my office. However, we don't have any book cases yet. so everything's in boxes. Or just on a pile on the floor. And so this series was the first series I found when I was going through the boxes looking for books to read because I was super bored. and i was like, well, this sounds like an ACOTAR reread time. I'm going to go ahead and do that. But yeah, that's what I'm reading first.
00:07:02
Speaker
There's been so many books that I want to reread, but then I have so many books that I haven't read yet on my shelf too. And so i'm like, I can't reread if I haven't read these yet.
00:07:13
Speaker
Yes, but we do need to start our From Blood and Ash reread. Yeah, and that one is acceptable because I still haven't finished that series, but I moved in between two releases, and now I don't remember where like what was going on, so I need to reread it before I read the new stuff.
00:07:31
Speaker
Literally. I honestly don't even remember. trying to remember what book I even left off on in that series. I don't even know. I would have to go look at my good reads. Because all names sound the same. Yeah. Maybe.
00:07:42
Speaker
So yeah. Well, and it's like restart it the main series, the prequel. And I'm just like, I don't, I don't know where I was. I don't know where I was. I don't know what was happening. Therefore I cannot read the newest books until I go back and reread.
00:07:58
Speaker
Yeah. So that is my acceptable reread. We have to reread that one. Yeah. Yep. And then my, I just finished this book like two days ago. Have you read this series?
00:08:11
Speaker
No. What Lies Beyond the Veil. I'm not going to do any these spoilers. Yeah, it's the first book. Okay. and It's on my shelves. I have not read it And I think, so for those of you who have Kindle Unlimited, What Lies Beyond the Veil, the whole series, I believe, is on Kindle Unlimited. At least I know the second book, third and fourth book is. um I didn't realize there was going to be a lot more than that. So I guess then book two is what hunts inside the shadows and book three is what lurks beneath or between the fates. And it's by Harper L. Woods.
00:08:49
Speaker
And I bought this. i don't even know when I bought this or why I bought this because it was, it was a good, like this book was good, but I don't know if it was any, I don't remember. I think went in this completely blind, having no idea anything about this book.
00:09:06
Speaker
I but it was good bought it and I don't know why. Did she write a different series? I feel like she did because the name sounds very familiar.
00:09:16
Speaker
She wrote The Coven of Bones. Okay. Yeah. So I bought it based off that series and I just haven't read it yet. Yeah. So that book, I read the first one and I didn't ever read the second one.
00:09:33
Speaker
I read the second one and it was like, I like her writing style. i wasn't a huge fan of that story. yeah so i bought this one because I read like the synopsis. I do remember now i read the synopsis and I was like, this sounds more like something I would enjoy because her writing style is really, I like it a lot. And I like the way she tells the story. I just was not a fan of that story. Yeah. I feel like for me specifically, so I really, really enjoy fantasy where it's set in a different world or location and it's set or if it's like occurring in this planet that we live in currently yeah that it's set back in time. I don't really like a lot of fantasy books that are like modern fantasy or like like urban fantasy. urban fan i really yeah It has to be written really, really, really well for me to enjoy urban fantasy. like the only My favorite one, like, and here's the thing too, even with like Crescent City, i don't really like, I hate the fact that it's urban fantasy, even though it's on another planet.
00:10:41
Speaker
The only one that i really, really, really love and that I would continue to reread is like the Ninth House series. Like that is the best urban fantasy I've ever read. It is, but it's also like heavy on the dark academia, which I Yeah. love love yes so speaking of so this is like something i've added to my tbr and <unk>m going a little off script but i know that you've read it and i've been meaning to ask you this vicious would i like it so the thing with vicious
00:11:19
Speaker
they're like it's more in the realm of like morally gray superheroes like it's Okay. Do you remember, there was a movie in the, it was like the 90s or early 2000s, and it was a group of, they were in college, and they, God, what is the name of this movie? They take themselves like to death, and then when they come back, it's like, they have like that ability. Do know what I'm talking about?
00:11:49
Speaker
I cannot for life of me remember it. don't think ever saw it, but it had like a lot of like super famous people in it, didn't it? It was a great, great movie. Essentially, the premise of this book is that they are in college, and they basically,
00:12:07
Speaker
in a controlled space, take themselves to the brink of death because death brings them a power. And you don't know what ability you're going to get. yeah And they're not necessarily all good people either. So you're getting these like young adults with a superpower essentially. And they're they're coming to the world. There's two rivals and the story kind of centers around these two. um And on two very different paths in life.
00:12:39
Speaker
So I really like it. I love v e Schwab. yeah i like the superhero element to it. I you know i read a lot of comics. So it doesn't bother me that it's like not necessarily...
00:12:53
Speaker
more on the fantasy side. it's more It kind of gives that superhero, villain, like morally gray um character kind of vibe. But it's not like your typical fantasy.
00:13:06
Speaker
Interesting. Okay. yeah I'm intrigued. Yeah. so i know really like them, but yeah i don't I don't know that you if you will. like I don't know how you're... Yeah, I need to, I need to, I'll keep it on my back burner a little bit, but it definitely intrigued me. Yeah. then I'm reading.
Exploring Popular Book Series
00:13:26
Speaker
i i still need to read that one too. By Rachel Gillig. I like Rachel Gillig. I'm this far in. It's only halfway, little over maybe.
00:13:39
Speaker
Yes, it is very good. it is. Yeah, I've heard great things about it. i think She wrote another um duology, I think,
00:13:54
Speaker
called I Cannot for the Life of Me. Remember? the one that the first one we read from her? One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns, which I absolutely love. it is very gothic-y fantasy. It's got a great monster. it has a really cool magic system. so Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
00:14:15
Speaker
I love that. That series is so good. I think I read it because I bought the first book when we were in Hawaii for medical treatment and I read it within like three days and I had to go the other one. And Mike's like, why are you buying all these books? And I'm like, like you don't understand. You don't you don't get it And so they are somewhere in these boxes.
00:14:37
Speaker
m I ended up buying special editions of those with like painted edges because that is definitely a duology that I will go back to because I loved it so much. So good.
00:14:50
Speaker
It was very, very, very good. Yeah. So if you are looking for quick series that you could just fall in to, that would be it.
00:15:01
Speaker
This book is really good too. I haven't read The Night and the Moth yet. but I know I'm going to love it because I just really like this author and the way she writes and tells a story. But I also like the premise that if I remember right, when I read the synopsis, she, the main female character is the knight, right?
00:15:22
Speaker
No. Okay. Maybe I am thinking of something else. She is, um, Like a C or like a diviner is what they call them in the book. Oh, okay. And so it's like, but there is a night in it.
00:15:39
Speaker
Um... but I'm thinking of a different book then because there's one where the female main female character is the knight and then the male is not like a damsel in distress, but she's like his protector. well that's cool. i would like that too. going to have to figure out. I know – like I can picture it I can't think of what it's called or even the author. but Yeah. I like this book a lot because the way – That it's centered.
00:16:06
Speaker
um I don't want to give any spoilers, but it like makes you like you're presented with this world and then you question everything. And I feel like this is so interesting because it relates back to present religious experiences that some people have. And so it's, I think you'll really like it.
00:16:29
Speaker
Okay. I'll definitely, I need to finish. some of the books that I'm going to be talking about here in a minute, because I have not had the time to read for fun as much as I would have liked to. So, yes, I'm so like, I'm trying to soak it up because I've not had the opportunity in such a long time to be able to read for fun. And like, there was probably a span of a good six months where the only books I was reading was just whatever book we're reading for book club. And that was it Yeah. It's like, I couldn't,
00:17:01
Speaker
read anything else and I would try and start and then I couldn't get into it or like I got just got too busy and it was just too much going on yeah but so I'm trying to soak it all in right now but the last book that I'm reading is audiobook um so I don't have it physically on me but it's the poisoner and I don't know I can't tell based on the font on the cover is it LV Ophelia or IV Ophelia because I don't know and I should have looked it up and I didn't but I can tell yeah I'm listening to the audio book right now and based on Tiffany's recommendation because she's also listened to this audio book. We've talked about this on the podcast recently. I think twice. Probably. I was up obsessed. it's
00:17:46
Speaker
The audio book is creepy. Yeah. It is such a creepy audio It is creepy. But also the whoever the actor they got to play both of the roles.
00:17:59
Speaker
my god. Like I could listen to that man talk all day. yeah He has a beautiful voice and she's wonderful too. Like, yeah, it's just, I love the setting. I love that. It's like very like a dark, like kind of Gothic, like London, a lot you know, set a long time ago least turn, at least turn of a century. I can't remember the time period that it takes place in, but a long time ago.
00:18:26
Speaker
Yeah. And it's really good. And it's like supernatural elements, but like, she's just essentially a poisoner, which yeah I love. i love me a good herbalist, like alchemist. I love it in a book like that. And she's here. She's a girl's girl. So yeah, she is. We love it.
00:18:45
Speaker
Yeah. So i am only, I think 17% in to this book, but i really, really, really, really like it. I like, this would be a book that I would go and purchase the physical copy when I'm done writing. I have a feeling. So yeah Yeah, I really, really liked it. so But what are you reading? So I am i have been reading this book forever and just haven't had the time for it.
00:19:11
Speaker
And I love it. And it makes me so sad that I don't have as much time for it. But I'm reading Blood on Her Tongue by Johanna Van Vien. Yeah. I feel like I've been looking at bookshops for her because she released a book before –
00:19:28
Speaker
Oh God, what's the first one we read of hers? My Darling darling the Dreadful Thing. Before that one, she released another one and I cannot find I want to find it like in a bookstore. i mean, I guess I could just order it offline, but I'm looking for that one. Um,
00:19:43
Speaker
God, she's such an amazing author. Yeah. So My Darling Dreadful Thing was so good. i remember I listened to the audio and I was like, please go listen to this. It's so good. It's so good. And then I listened to and immediately went and bought it. Like, yeah, full copy. ah And then b Blood on Her Tongue.
00:20:04
Speaker
It's phenomenal. And there are times that I'm like, I am so fucking tired. I think I've even been messaging you at these times where I'm like, I'm doing this. I'm reading for 30 minutes. Like i'm I'm giving myself just a timer, 30 minutes, and I'll fall asleep reading. Like I won't even make it a full 30 minutes because I'm like exhausted by the time I get in bed. But I'm like, I just want to read it and I'll get like five pages in and fall asleep. Yeah.
00:20:28
Speaker
yeah So I've been working on this book for a very long time in a very exhausted state of mind, but it's so good.
00:20:38
Speaker
It is really good. And then um I'm reading Off to the Races by Elsie Silver. I'm not... usually a contemporary romance fan but I have a friend that raves all about Elsie Silver and so I was like I'll give it a try it's funny all it's funny but it's not like i it's fine I don't even know I don't want to shit on it right like it's not a bad book it's just not my genre I think and so I'm struggling with it a little bit but I am going to force myself to finish it
00:21:15
Speaker
And then the last one that I have here, I actually finished before we started recording. So um it was Notes on an Execution Dania Kukovka.
00:21:29
Speaker
I was listening to that one as an audio. It is um the story of essentially a serial killer He is... It opens up with him in... He's in prison. He's on death row. He's waiting for his execution, essentially. And you get to bounce around between different women. um So his mother, Lavender... And the shitty life that she had where she was trapped by this abusive man and how she gets away, but how the their two kids end up in foster care. And then like what happens when one kid gets adopted by a great family and the other one gets left to the system and how it created this like...
00:22:16
Speaker
essentially like not to give him an excuse, but he becomes a serial killer because he hates women because women leave him. And so, yeah. So it's like, you kind of have this, like, not a soft spot, but you understand how he got to be who he was. But then you're also getting the story of these women throughout the whole book. So it's like, sometimes you feel for him. And then other times you're like, you're really just a piece of shit.
00:22:44
Speaker
Yeah. Anipulative piece of shit. So it was really good. i enjoyed it. um I finished that this morning and then started my next audio book because I have like a whole queue of them on Libby, um which is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas because I've never read it. Yeah. little Little problematic. I get that it's from an older time period, but there are some not so great – things in this book that have made me question if I even remember this movie because we when we were younger Anthony I loved Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas the movie so now I kind of want to go back and see if some of these more problematic things that I'm coming across in the book if they're in the movie because I don't remember them but the book is a little racist oof
00:23:36
Speaker
yeah Yeah. I feel like I've seen the movie. Mike used to watch the movie. Who is the – It's Brad Pitt, isn't It's Johnny Depp.
00:23:47
Speaker
Or not Brad Pitt. Yeah. um But the the author – who's author of it again? Hunter S. Thompson. Hunter S. Thompson. Yeah. I think yeah Mike went through a phase like – when we were young, where he read a lot of his stuff. Yeah. I mean, he's very popular. he is. but I, and I know we, we have the movie and I know like, I think i watched it just because Johnny Depp was in it.
00:24:14
Speaker
Yeah. But I was like, I don't like this. But I don't remember. I wonder if they probably had to tone it down a bit. To make it seem a little less problematic. Well, you're also not in the movies. like I feel like something that gets lost in movies, which in this case is probably for the better, you're not getting the internal dialogue.
00:24:38
Speaker
So like a lot of the stuff that I'm like, wo it's like his internal dialogue while things are going on around him. And it's like, do you want me to hate you character? Because I kind of hate you as a character. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm goingnna i'm going to listen to it because I think I'm about halfway through it because I was doing all kinds of shit today. So I was just listening to an audio book while I was doing it.
00:25:02
Speaker
going to see how I feel at the end of it And then I kind of do want to go back and rewatch because it's been a really long time since we've seen the movie. Yeah. So I want to go back and rewatch and see if they like toned it down or took it out or whatever. But yeah, I was like a little, a little shocked.
00:25:21
Speaker
Yeah. I was like, I mean, it is older. i mean, I get that. Like that was, you know. Things were a little different. Not saying they were okay, but they were a little different. But i don't know.
00:25:35
Speaker
i was really thrown off. Yeah, that would that would throw me off too. yeah like that. yeah so those are what I'm currently reading. But I did list out some notable recent reads because I've read some really, really good books lately.
Diving into Horror Books
00:25:50
Speaker
um A lot of them have been horror. i went on a little bit of a horror kick, which, you know, horror is one of my favorite genres. I kind of bounce between sci-fi, horror, and fantasy or romanticy.
00:26:01
Speaker
um So the first one I have is Mary by Nat Cassidy. um and this one, oh I'm also reading Carrie. i forgot to put that in there. i am going through my Stephen King books on my shelf because i am a huge Stephen King fan. I have a whole shelf of Stephen King books. And so now I'm like reading through all of them. So I am reading Carrie. And I thought about that with this one because Mary reminded me of being like the opposite of Carrie. So Carrie starts out with a young girl getting her period and she has like telekinetic powers and she, you know, grew up in a
00:26:36
Speaker
religious nut job house and so she was never taught about the female body and like things that happen like we don't talk about that kind of thing so she like goes into a panic Mary is like the opposite of it so the main character 50 years old and Essentially, she's talking about like the struggles of menopause.
00:26:58
Speaker
And it has this like, you don't know if there's actual like possession, like ghost possession, or if she is like the reincarnation of this serial killer who was killed 50 years prior.
00:27:12
Speaker
Such a good read. I loved it so much. um Another one was When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy. This is werewolf horror, but the horror is created by a child's fear.
00:27:26
Speaker
So like, The dad, I think it was the dad was part of a government like program where they were doing this study and giving them like powers or whatever. and then they were all made sterile, but something happened with the dad. And so he had a kid and the kid had powers and whatever the kid was afraid of, like however he pictured it, it came to life.
00:27:52
Speaker
So like when the dad was like mad at him, the kid, because he read these fairy tales about wolves, would picture his dad as the wolf, which then forced his dad to like go through werewolf changes and like all this awful stuff. And like, there's just crazy things that happen and you're trying to put it all together and you get to the end and you're like, oh my God, like the whole time it was this. So 10 out of 10, loved that one.
00:28:21
Speaker
Um, such sharp teeth. I forgot to, i know the girl's first name was Rachel. I don't remember what her last name was and I was going to look that up and I forgot. So let me do that real quick. It's another werewolf one and it's really, really, really good.
00:28:37
Speaker
um and I listened to the audio book of it and I would definitely recommend it Rachel Harrison. um The next one is Diavola. Diavola? I don't know how to say it. Do you know how to say it?
00:28:52
Speaker
No. I think Diavola. don't either. Diavola. So this one's by Jennifer Marie Thorne, and it's like – Essentially, it's a horror book where there is kind of possession attached to a house, to a key to the house in Italy, and all these crazy things happen. But it is so good.
00:29:11
Speaker
It is really good. This was the last – because I remember i I read this. I listened to the audiobook of it, actually, um back in October. um Because I was like, I have to read something a bit – spooky it is october and and so like this was a book that i was able to get um and i was able to actually listen to and finish it and i think that was the last book that i was able to read before we moved and so um it was it's very very good um and and i am just like i finished that book and i'm like i would love a prequel I would love a prequel. yeah. To the story of like how how the entity got there. Like their whole backstory. Yes. yeah Because we see like there's a piece of it, but I want the whole thing. Yeah. Like the town and how they're all connected to this house. and Yeah. And her family is fucking terrible. Oh, God.
00:30:13
Speaker
Literally. The worst. Yeah. so But it's very, very good. You should all read that book. It's very good. And then I feel like this one most people have probably already read or at least know about, but the Red Rising series. I put off reading this for so long and I'm finally doing it now. I'm listening to it through Libby. So I'm on I want to say the fourth book at this point, but I'm waiting for it from Libby. But this is by Pierce Brown.
00:30:43
Speaker
And for me, like I always have loved a good space opera. Like I love sci-fi, but I don't like the middle ground. I either like the space opera, which is like the fantasy kind of Red Rising saga, ah Dune kind of falls under that.
00:30:59
Speaker
Or i like it to be like really true science. Like it has like the more science element where you're dealing with like time travel or um alternate universes, like more heavy on the science and like light on the aliens essentially. And I feel like this is such a good, good like sci-fi fantasy blend and in that space opera genre.
00:31:26
Speaker
Absolutely love it And I think you've read these, right? Or no? Okay. I've read them. I think it was Ashley then maybe i was talking to, but they're really good. I would recommend them. They are more on the fantasy end of it than they are sci-fi. Like they, they take place in space. Like they take place on Mars and other planets. So that's kind of more of the sci-fi element of it, but it's not like aliens and stuff like that. It's actual human beings. So yeah.
00:31:59
Speaker
And then um Lore of the Wilds. So this one kind of snuck up on me because i started it and I was just kind of really not feeling it. Like it was...
00:32:12
Speaker
kind of boring for me. And then out of nowhere, it got really interesting. And then I was like, okay, well, what's, what are we doing? What's going on? I, I almost didn't finish this one and I'm actually really glad I did. And the author for this is Anna Lee. I think it's Sabrina.
00:32:30
Speaker
I'm not 100% sure how to pronounce it, but um it was pretty good. And then, of course, anything T. Kingfisher. So, like, What Moves the Dead, What Feast at Night, Metal and Bone, A House with Good Bones, The Twisted Ones.
00:32:45
Speaker
T. Kingfisher is like – I don't know if it's a guy or a girl, but they are killing it in the gothic horror realm. I absolutely love their stories. And we've read Nettle and Bone, I think, as book club, right?
00:32:59
Speaker
Yeah. Okay. I was like, I don't know if I just read this because I love T. Kingfisher or if this was – I thought it was book club, but I couldn't remember. And then the other one is Stephen Graham Jones. um And they wrote The Only Good Indians and The Buffalo Hunter Hunter. um These are very well done Native American horror. So 10 out 10 recommend.
00:33:24
Speaker
Yes. You crack me up, though, because you're like, I haven't read, like, any books. And then you're like, here are the 50 books that I've read recently. Some of these are last year. These are, like, the notable mentions recent. The only ones that I read this year were Mary and Such Sharp Teeth.
00:33:46
Speaker
Everything else was last year.
Audiobook Habits and Preferences
00:33:52
Speaker
But to be fair, I read like 100 and something books last year. Yeah. I haven't read anything. and Yeah. Yeah. Last year I was on a roll. This year, not so much. Yeah.
00:34:03
Speaker
I just remember like last year I would see um like your end of the month roundup. I'm like, I'm so busy. haven't had time to really read. And it's like 17 books. I'm like, what? To be fair though, i listen to a lot of audio books when I'm cleaning, cooking, driving. Like that is a good portion of my books are audio books.
00:34:26
Speaker
Yeah. so i So I love audiobooks, but I can't do... i it depends on what I'm doing. Like if it's something that i i Like I can't listen to them at two point speed unless it's a very slow reader because i won't... I can't... i Like how do you even... That's how my brain processes.
00:34:48
Speaker
Like if it's too slow, I'm like... i I don't even know what's happening. But if I it I'm like – Yeah, mean, it's slow, I'll speed it up. But, like, sometimes, like, I'll speed it up and I'm like, I don't even know what's – Like, honestly, like, most of the time, if I have to speed up an audiobook, it's just because I just need to finish it.
00:35:06
Speaker
Really? we're talking about it for club or something. on a normal speed, no matter, like, whether the person is slow or fast reader, like, my brain is like, I can't do this. I listen to your voice memos on a two point. That's rude.
00:35:24
Speaker
That's how my brain processes things. Like it's, it's gotta be like, okay, let's, let's hear it. Let's get it. And let's respond. I can't even, i will miss so much if I listen to a on two point real speed, but yeah.
00:35:37
Speaker
No, I listen to pretty much everything, podcasts, books, voice memos, everything two-point speed. And it's not because I'm like, oh, get it over with. I'm like, my brain needs it to be that fast for me to like comprehend what what it is.
00:35:51
Speaker
Otherwise, you lost me. Yeah, at two-point speed, I'm already lost. I'm just like, i don't know what's happening. So if we're on a like if we're doing something for book club or something and I'm like, oh, yeah, like towards the end, I'm like, I don't remember what happened. It's because I listened to it at two-point speed.
00:36:08
Speaker
because I was trying to finish it. That's like no joke. no But moving into what we've been watching recently.
Review of Twin Peaks Series
00:36:18
Speaker
So Mike and i just finished Twin Peaks. The like, and I know there's like movies, there's like a third series or third season that came out like after the fact. We just watched the first two series, the original first two series that were released. he Have you watched Twin Peaks? I've tried.
00:36:39
Speaker
It's hard to get into. Couldn't get into it at all. So Mike, when we were living in Okinawa, he started watching it and I'm just like, oh my God. And I would just catch like bits and pieces i'm like, this show is stupid. Like it is really stupid.
00:36:53
Speaker
And then couple weeks ago, like this was in January sometime, we were both at the library on base and I was like getting a library card and stuff. And he was just like, I'm going to see if they have Twin Peaks. Cause I was, I had asked him, this is my mistake, but I was like, i want to watch like a movie series or tv series of something that takes place in Washington. And he's like Twin Peaks. And I'm like Twilight. And he's like Twilight, and literally Twilight. Yeah.
00:37:20
Speaker
So he picked up Twin Peaks from the library and we watched the he was like, just, just give it a chance. Like just, and I'm like, okay. So we watched like the pilot episode and I was like, this show sucks, but I'm just like, okay, but I have to know who killed this girl.
00:37:37
Speaker
Like, cause the whole series sort of yeah revolves around the murder of this girl named Laura Palmer. And so we're so, but I have to know who murdered this girl. So then we watched the second one and I'm like, this show is still cringy. And then, but the more I watched it, the more I'm like,
00:37:54
Speaker
what are we watching the next episode? And so like, it's very like the guy who created this show, like you can tell he's just kind of a weirdo. um yeah think he's passed away now. So rest in peace, but um kind of a weirdo.
00:38:13
Speaker
I don't even know. It's just weird. The show is weird. It's very like cerebral. Like it's just yeah fucking out there. But I did grow to love some of the characters. And every time I watched it, I'm like, I need a hot cup of coffee and a slice of pie. Thank you. we So I tried when we were back in Illinois. There were a lot of girls. So for those, I don't even know that we've ever talked about this, but when Sam and I lived in Illinois... We were part of a brunch group called Geek Girl Brunch. We ran it for a while. And every month we would have like a geek nerd themed brunch. yeah And that was one that was requested quite often. Like we had a a group within the brunch that just loved Twin Peaks.
00:39:11
Speaker
yeah I think lauren ah Lauren Mormino was one of them. like She loved Twin Peaks. And I'm like, i know nothing about it. So I tried to watch it. I tried like so many times. I watched the pilot episode probably three times trying to let get into the show. It's awful. And then I was like, okay, let's move past the pilot. Let's see. And I tried giving it a chance and I just could not. I couldn't. Yeah. It's one of those things if Mike hadn't like been like, no, let's just watch an episode every night together
00:39:44
Speaker
there's no way would finish it after the pilot episode because the pilot episode is just really bad. Like I don't understand how, I think it was originally broadcast like CBS. I don't know ah how they picked that up because it would never, never um know pick that up. It is like, i like there's a scene where, cause the girl who dies, she's in high school and they, of course they're interviewing like the boyfriend. And I don't know if you remember this part, but they, have like they're interviewing Bobby, her boyfriend at the high school. But what they don't know is like Bobby and Laura have been essentially cheating on each other with other people for a while. And he's like in a relationship with a married woman. And so they're interviewing him at the school and he's like, I can just can't remember exactly what he says, but he's like, I didn't kill her. And like snaps. And I'm like,
00:40:38
Speaker
I just remember looking at Mike and being like, what the fuck is this show? Like, does this is this person an alien, the creator of the show, and this is who how they think, like, humans actually act? Because i just cannot. but I don't even remember if it was, like, in the first episode or if it was in one of the couple that I did watch. But I remember that, like, got to him and he was, like, hanging upside down in a doorway. And I was like, what even happening? With, space boots on. Yeah. Oh, God.
00:41:07
Speaker
What is this? Is this ah is what they did in the 90s to do like but I don't even know what you call like what is that move called? Like a reverse pull up? Like I don't know. A wall hang? But like off your feet? Every like time I will would try to watch it I'd be like what the fuck is going on? Yeah. It is it's rough to get into. yeah But I was just like once we reached a point in the series I'm like it's gone too far. I have to know what happens. And then I was disappointed with the ending. And then we had to like, Mike and I, we both were, i think disappointed in the ending, but then we were like trying to like, after the fact, like come to terms with the ending of it because it just was like, what the fuck?
00:41:56
Speaker
So, but I do think hindsight, um that would have been a really easy brunch to do and we should have done it. Even if we not, like, it should have been, like, maybe a brunch where we were like, okay, you guys really like this. You're going to take the lead on this brunch.
00:42:13
Speaker
Yeah. We can't. It would have been an easy brunch. We could have done that at a diner. Like, it would have been easy. Wow. Hindsight's 20-20. Hindsight's 20-20. But, uh, so we finished Twin Peaks and it was an experience. um And then...
00:42:35
Speaker
Mike and i also just finished A Band of Brothers. um And I didn't realize I'd find my second husband in the show, but I did.
Band of Brothers Character Fascination
00:42:44
Speaker
It's been a really long time since I've watched that, but it was good.
00:42:49
Speaker
so growing I've always loved World War I, World War II, anything having to do with World War and World War II, like most millennials I loved. And growing up, we didn't have HBO, so I was never able to actually watch it. And anytime I ever came across Band of Brothers...
00:43:06
Speaker
I don't know why, like I would always see like the very end of the, not the very end, but like, I guess the middle of the last episode. And so I never actually watched the whole thing, but I know at the very least they make it to Austria.
00:43:21
Speaker
But, ah but I could never remember who exactly makes it. And I just know like the main care, obviously Captain Winters or major Winters by the end makes it. But yeah,
00:43:34
Speaker
There is a character in the show. It's Lieutenant Spears first and he makes it to Captain Spears. And that man is fun. He is my favorite character. And if anybody like, so i will describe something about him and you'll probably be like, oh yeah, no, I remember this character in the very beginning of the show.
00:43:56
Speaker
I just see him and I'm like, who's that? Who is that? And then, One of the characters in the show that has a bigger role at this point, think it's like, I don't know his rank, but the last name is Perkante. He is walking past a group of prisoners that they've taken.
00:44:18
Speaker
And he's just like asking them like, where are you guys from? I'm from bubble bla blah, blah, blah. And one of the prisoners is an American in a Nazi uniform. And he's like, I'm from wherever. And he's like, what the fuck? What are you doing here? Why are you dressed like that? And he's like, well, my family's German. Then we entered, we answered the nation's call or whatever, whatever.
00:44:38
Speaker
And he was just kind of shocked because, you know, obviously it's supposed to be like representative of the fact that like, when we joined the war, we just had this perception, like all Nazis are like these terrible people. not saying that they're not, I'm not saying that not, but like, you know what I mean? Like, it's like, it kind of, we know monsters. Right.
00:44:57
Speaker
Yeah, it's like they're personified. They're actually human, even though they are terrible people. And so that was his first time like really seeing that human element of it, I think. And then you see the lieutenant, the hot lieutenant, is like guarding these German prisoners, and he's offering them all a cigarette. And then you don't see what happens, but you hear a lot of shots afterwards. And so Percanti tells everybody like that he mowed down 10 Nazi soldiers. And then the story like snowballs from there. And he's like, and he actually killed 50. And he shot one of his own men. And so like they have this like perception that this lieutenant is like a monster. And then he ends up taking command of Easy Company.
00:45:43
Speaker
And he's really hot. okay
00:45:48
Speaker
Yeah. So Captain Spears is daddy. That's what I have in my notes. And if you watch Band of Brothers, he is very attractive.
00:45:59
Speaker
Yeah. ciny orchestra As it came out on DVD, like the series, because we were over here, I think, yeah the first time that we were here.
00:46:11
Speaker
And so we would go get the series and watch it as a friend group. Yeah. Oh my God. is It's so good. So watch that. And then I tried getting into that gay hockey romance show that everybody's talking about.
00:46:25
Speaker
Heated Rivalry. don't know. Heated Rivalry. I just don't think it's for me. Not because it's like a gay hockey romance. I just think it's boring. So. Yeah. Well, I felt that way too. Like everybody was doing like the, don't know.
00:46:40
Speaker
There was like reverse harem type hockey books that came out and I tried and I was like, I mean, it's not that good.
00:46:50
Speaker
Yeah. I think I also don't really care about the sports element. Yes. And then that's very heavy on that. Yeah, it is. And I'm just like, this is boring. yeah And I don't really like, I just don't like sports at all. And the first episode is very sports heavy too. And I'm like, i don't care. i literally don't. I could give a shit less. But think you need that sports element and you need to be invested in it to like care about the characters maybe. i don't know because i care. And so like I have a friend who is obsessed with the show and I'm like, I just really don't like it. And then sister-in-law was like, well –
00:47:27
Speaker
you know, she was like, I didn't like it either until I got to like the third episode. And I'm like, i don't want to watch anymore. i don't have time for that. Like, I don't, like it's like people that are like, it didn't get good until the 15th book or it didn't get good until 700 pages in. i don't have time for that. Yeah. so I'm not a fan of that show and I'm also not a fan of those reverse harem hockey romance books. I tried reading them too. I tried, i think Pucking Around was the one that I tried reading. And maybe I just don't like the author. I don't mean like i don't know.
00:48:03
Speaker
It's not good. i don't think it's written well either. so Yeah. I was not a fan of it. And I also just don't like hockey. i like home sorry going to a hockey game. Yeah. mean, don't like that. Like like going to the game. That's fun. I'll watch it. I go to the boy aquarium. Yeah.
00:48:19
Speaker
But i don't like I don't care to like know the rules of hockey. i don't yeah i don't care. Or like how like any of the tension-related stuff that would come. I don't care.
00:48:34
Speaker
I just yeah don't. So there's that. we So Anthony has been gone for a whole month. And bridger the new Bridgerton just came out. yesterday.
00:48:47
Speaker
Yesterday. February when we're recording this. Whatever day. What day is this? Sunday? Yeah. Yesterday. we Wait, the new next four these episodes came out again?
00:49:01
Speaker
Whatever this new season is, we just started on episode one. Oh, okay. Yeah. Because he's been gone. so Yeah. We haven't gotten to watch it.
00:49:12
Speaker
I can't remember when it actually came out. Was it like the end of January beginning of February or something? I think was like the January. You're right. Yeah. we I watched it. I didn't even know the newest season was coming out. I had no clue until it was like the new season of Bridgerton is here. And I'm like, oh.
00:49:28
Speaker
I saw on Netflix that it was a new season coming, but I didn't know when. And then I saw that it was out. Yeah. I think they're doing it like Stranger Things situation. Oh, where they're doing like part. Which don't like. And we haven't even watched Stranger Things either.
00:49:47
Speaker
don't know. Yeah, I don't know. I have my thoughts on Stranger Things, but we won't I won't say it until you watch it um yeah that we can commiserate together. But it didn't in the way that I wanted it to end. I've heard a lot of people were very upset with the ending. so Yeah, I just...
00:50:03
Speaker
For all of that to end that way, I'm like, oh, come on. But um ah we watched the first four um that have been released of the newest Bridgerton series. I think the next four are coming out the end of this month, I think. don't know.
00:50:19
Speaker
I didn't realize it was only like the first half. but Yeah, which is annoying.
Bridgerton Season Review
00:50:23
Speaker
I can't stand when they that shit. Yeah. But what I will say is, because I started at first, like we were looking for something to watch and I was like, oh, Bridgerton. And Mike was like, I don't want to watch that. And I'm like, okay, well, because he's, he watch we watched the first season together.
00:50:40
Speaker
the second one, I don't know if he watched the second one or if he did, it was just like bits and pieces. The third one, that one came out when we were in Okinawa. And I remember watching that one and he would come in and like kind of make fun of it for a little bit and then leave the room, but he must've digest enough of it to be able to follow this season. Yeah. And so um with this one, I played the first episode and he's like, oh, I'll watch it with you. And then when that one was done, i just assumed like, oh, well maybe we'll watch something else. And then he was like, oh, let's play the next episode. And so we watched like the first four episodes within like two days. Okay.
00:51:22
Speaker
But I really like it so far. so I'm not going to – obviously no spoilers. I really like it. Single episode. And then it's – Yeah. Like it's obvious. It's like Cinderella. We're doing the Cinderella theme here. But it's cute. And I love – I am blanking his name.
00:51:41
Speaker
The brother. the The character that's... The love interest. Well, it's like through the alphabet. So what is the... So Anthony Benedict? and it's It's Benedict. Yeah.
00:51:53
Speaker
I love his character. Like, he's just like this wild... I do too. i love a little bi-series. Every at this episode or every series with him in it, I'm like, ah I love it.
00:52:04
Speaker
I do. i do miss the Duke though. Like, I just really wish that they... first of all, like, I feel like it sucks because I feel like maybe his actor thinks he's too good for Bridgerton now, but it's like, this is how you became famous, bro. But with him I can't remember his name, but in Daphne's character, they should have written in their contract that they would have to come back and do like like caos at cameos at least. Because it's like, it doesn't make sense with the story that like If you think about it for – because Daphne, I think, only came back for, like, in the second season, like, for a little bit.
00:52:43
Speaker
And if this family is supposed to be that close-knit, she is – you're telling me going to miss her siblings' fucking weddings and shit? Yeah. Like, that doesn't make sense with the story. No. And it's not like she lives in fucking India, like, Antony and his wife.
00:52:58
Speaker
But you see more of him than you do Daphne. ane Yeah. So I just wish that they would have tied that into their contract be or or fucking recast them at this point.
00:53:09
Speaker
Yeah. But they should in the family. They should be at least in some of the story. Yeah. So it sucks because it's like they basically don't exist. And that was my favorite season because that man is fine.
00:53:22
Speaker
Did you ever watch Charlotte and George or whatever the yeah prequel? That's Anthony's favorite. I need to watch that because Jane was telling me about it last night. She was like, you have got to watch it. George is my favorite love interest in the Bridgerton series.
00:53:37
Speaker
It was so good. Anthony was like, we were watching it and we're like, is somebody cutting onions? It's so good. Both of us are like... I have to watch it. I just... Because I know from watching Bridgerton, we see how like...
00:53:53
Speaker
It's just sad because it's like i don't want to be emotionally invested in George and know like what happens later on in life with him. all but It is very sad.
00:54:04
Speaker
it is such a good love story though. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. i have to watch it. ah have to watch it now that we finished Band of Brothers and I cried my eyes out at the end of the hat. Well, now you can go watch this and be sad. Yeah. um So I am also I'm almost done with I think.
00:54:24
Speaker
i Honestly, i don't know where I'm at in this series. I am watching Three-Body Problem. It is such a good sci-fi series. It does have aliens, but it is centered around scientists. So it is science heavy.
00:54:40
Speaker
But there is an alien element, a very weird alien element and a weird video game element to it. it's It's really good. I like it a lot. um But it does it's one of those like you have to have the time to pay attention to because there's a lot of different languages spoken in it. So there's a lot of subtitles. And some of the story is just like you have to really pay attention to follow what's going on. um But if you like sci-fi, definitely would recommend it. I don't know how it ends yet. So if it ends poorly, don't blame me if you hate it.
00:55:13
Speaker
but But if you just need a good sci-fi, it's a good one. And then I always have a show that is a background show for when I'm like crocheting or like crafting or sometimes I just want to like sit and play on my phone with the TV on. And right now that show is younger. and this is an older show on Netflix. It's like seven seasons.
00:55:40
Speaker
um But it's really cute. And it's got Hilary Duff in it. And the premise around the show is the main character, Liza, um is she's turning 40 or is 40. I can't remember if she had turned 40 yet at the beginning. um But essentially, she's going through a divorce because her husband... cheated on her and he has a gambling problem and she had been in publishing, but she got pregnant and she stayed home to raise her kid until she went off to college. And now her kid's in college. She's divorced and she wants to get back into the workforce, but nobody will hire 40 year old. They all want somebody young. So her best friend comes up with this idea that we're going to wipe
00:56:27
Speaker
everything about you from the internet. We're going to get you a fake ID. You're 26. And so she goes and starts interviewing and she gets a job as an assistant in a publishing company and just pretends like she's 26 and she's lying to everybody. And it's like how she's keeping this story going without telling people and then who she tells and who doesn't know. It's really cute. Some of it's really funny. um i just enjoy it as a great background show.
00:56:57
Speaker
It's not something that you have to pay attention to There's not a lot of like depth to it. It's like one of those like sitcoms that you could just put on and watch, you know? so um and then The girls and I out here have started, instead of having a book club, we have a show club. And so everybody takes turns picking shows. And the first one was His and Hers on Netflix.
00:57:23
Speaker
I was not a fan of it. Everyone else loved it. I didn't really care for it. But it had Jon Bernthal in it, and I love him. So that made up it. I've not seen that. not even heard of It's okay.
00:57:37
Speaker
It was... The twist at the end was nice. Like, I didn't see... the ending coming but the show itself was kind of boring to me so and then the other one the second one is brand new cherry flavor which I have watched this show before have you watched this one yeah I've watched it's so weird and I love it so much don't love that show you don't love it it's so good it's so good it's not like good
00:58:08
Speaker
It is. It is. It's set in the 90s. It's got the weird sci-fi element to it. It's great. If you like weird shows, go watch it.
00:58:21
Speaker
It's not good. ah Nope. I it in weird England. know plenty of people that loved it. And we were like, what did we just watch? It's not for us. It's not for us. And we liked the weird shit, but that was not it.
00:58:36
Speaker
I loved it. um And then notable mentions. These are shows that I've already watched. I'm not watching them right now, but I watched them recently. Murderbot on Apple TV. I will recommend that till the day I die. It's got Ascarsgaard as the main character. um It is sci-fi, but it's great. You're basically the main character is a robot and he is a security bot, but he's learned to hack his system because all this bitch wants to do is watch TV. Leave me alone.
00:59:09
Speaker
So it's great. 10 out of 10 recommend. He does not remember fully what happened at his previous um security detail. So there's all this weird mystery around it. But then things start to unfold as the series goes and things might have been a little bit murdery.
00:59:28
Speaker
But he also calls himself Murderbot. kind of saw that coming. And then the other one is called Ghosts. And this is just really funny. I just watched this on Netflix. um German Netflix only has two seasons of it, but I think there's four in total. But essentially this couple inherit a mansion from her family. She's like the next living relative and her family member dies and she gets this mansion. And she it's like all these ghosts that people have died on the property are stuck there.

um But she can't see like they can't see them at first. So you're just getting the ghosts with funny commentary on like what they hate about the livings. And then she falls down the stairs, ends up in a coma.
01:00:14
Speaker
and when she comes back, she can see ghosts. So it's like her relationship with all these ghosts in the house and all the things that she does for them. It's really cute. It's hilarious. So if you want a funny one, go watch that one. And then lastly, our potlike podcast that we've been listening to, outside of our own podcast, obviously, because that should be your number one. I'm just saying, that should be your number one lesson.
01:00:40
Speaker
um I haven't listened to podcasts in a while, um to be honest, except for like if I'm doing my own – like if I'm doing research on something, then I'll listen to podcast episodes and stuff too.
01:00:53
Speaker
um True Crime Garage, I've become – like I used to love that podcast years ago and then I just recently started listening to it again um and I really enjoy that. I just love the banter between the two of them and they're really funny. And then i just finished up what has been released from Fangirls and Fairy Tales book podcast. And I talked with you about this one offline. I'm not going to get into all of my stuff on that one. But what I will say is I'm disappointed that they did not at least finish through. So they...

What they do is they're reading, they're rereading A Court of Thorns and Roses, the entire series. And they're doing like chapter breakdowns and like they're tying it back together with all of the mass universe stuff. So um there's spoilers for Crescent City, Throne of Glass, and then all of the ACOTAR books. And so it's interesting listening to other people who have read those books multiple times as well. And that are like, oh, here are my theories. Because some of them I've like, obviously, I've already put two and two together for that, or I've heard that before, but some of them I haven't. And so it's like interesting to get different perspectives, but they did, they only got like halfway through the second um book, like a court of mist and fury before like the podcast has just completely stopped. And that was, they released the last episode, I think July 2025. like,
01:02:27
Speaker
It is February, 2026. We're recording this right now. Where is the rest? Yeah. Where's the rest? So that is my disappointing bit
Unfinished Podcast Series Disappointment
01:02:37
Speaker
on that one. If you listen to that podcast, then you're going to be disappointed because they didn't finish.
01:02:43
Speaker
but But the ah the three of the hosts on that podcast also have another podcast that I've listened to a lot. called swish and flick and it's a Harry Potter reread podcast and they're really cute. so you should check that out if you haven't and you like Harry Potter. So I have only really been listening to Herb Rally, which is an herbal company that also does a podcast.
Herbalism and Herb Rally Podcast
01:03:11
Speaker
And they have a lot of herbalists come on and talk about things. So if you need a good herbal podcast, Herb Rally is a great one. um my

I also just have not really been listening to podcasts lately. Because I've been listening to books. But i will say I do have some constants that i don't necessarily binge, but I always go back to them.
01:03:35
Speaker
um and The first one, you guys have probably heard me talk about it on here before because I know I've mentioned it But I listened to last podcast on the left, um which they do a lot of deep dives on serial killers, on cryptids. They just cover like weirder topics and then like darker people. um But they've done like Madame Blavatsky. They've covered Alistair Crawley. So they they kind of have a good variety of people that they cover. And I just, I don't know.
01:04:09
Speaker
I really like them. And then the basement yard, um Anthony and I have followed Joe Santagato back from his like Vine and YouTube days. And so he's just funny. he's There's nothing like really of substance to them. They're just like dumb. They talk about dumb shit and it's funny. um Dungeons and Daddies is one of my favorite movies.
01:04:33
Speaker
ah just kind of hilarious podcast. And it's a group of people that play ah Dungeons and Dragons. And the whole premise around their podcast, you know, it's called Dungeons and Daddies. It's not a BDSM podcast, but then there'll be like hilarious jokes about it that is like, is it a BDSM podcast? But it's them just playing Dungeons and Dragons and they have these hilarious characters. a Morning Cup of Murder.
01:04:58
Speaker
Sometimes I just pop on and listen to that one like while I'm making my coffee because it's literally like a five-minute thing every morning covering some form of murder or serial killer or something. And then This Podcast Will Kill you is a medical podcast. Well, science and medical podcast, which I like. But that's it.
01:05:21
Speaker
That's all that I have podcast-wise. Yeah.
Keep It Weird Podcast Recommendation
01:05:24
Speaker
My only notable mention that I'll mention as well is Keep It Weird, which is my absolute favorite podcast.
01:05:32
Speaker
um I've been listening to them since they first came out in like 2017. I think they're on hiatus right now. They always take a long few month break, like beginning of the year.
01:05:45
Speaker
So yeah. Yeah, I can't remember. But they're on hiatus right now, I believe. But maybe when you're listening to this, they won't be on hiatus. And if you've never heard of their podcast before, you you should check them out because they have seasons upon seasons of content and they are really, really funny. I really like that one. I forgot about that podcast. But I also do listen to that one from time to time. so But that's all I have. I don't know if there's anything else you thought of. No, I mean, we did start...
