This is part one of a two part story with Shannon.
At the WHEN DATING HURTS podcast, we are fortunate to have loyal listeners from all around the world. We also have survivors who have bravely asked to be interviewed. These survivors have been from Canada, Australia, England, Argentina, Switzerland, and the United States.
Today, we add Ireland to our list. We spoke with Shannon who came to us from Dublin, Ireland
We thank Shannon for bringing us this story. It holds similarities we have found in most abusive relationships. We see the same kinds of warning signs, traps, and techniques used by abusers. We also see escalation in unhealthy behavior throughout.
Good people fall into traps when they are caught unaware... no matter where they call home.
