What should commentators avoid?

Can you give us a list of things as a commentator or for a co-commentator, things that they should never do? I can. Yeah. I like it. It's a slightly more controversial take on, as opposed to what to do, what not to do. A big thing for me co-commentator wise is don't interrupt basically, which sounds obvious, but you'd be amazed.

Role of lead commentators

And so often you would have lead commentators and co-commentators in different booths and they couldn't even necessarily have the eye contact, which is such an important cue as to who's going to come in and when. In terms of the lead commentator, I think, yeah, let the pictures tell the story. We all talk too much. I'm especially guilty of it. And you need to remember it's not all about you.
