Co-hosts Allison Endres and Regan Todd join us on this episode of Travel Podcast the World to chat about how they decided on doing a podcast together, how quickly they jumped in to get started, and what the adventure has been like so far.
They both have deep roots in travel, coming from family vacations and road trips when they were young, and have since added extensive overseas trips to more domestic explorations, giving their listeners a nice balance.
To this end, their episodes are a combination of their own personal experiences, inspiration from special guests, and discussions about travel themes such as methods of transport and the importance of exposing kids to travel.
As the world opens up again and people get back out there, feeling more confident to dream and plan adventures, their podcast will evolve and expand from reminiscences to sharing the new experiences that will come from future trips.
Wanderlusting Wives is a great example of keeping the dream alive, using podcasting to allow your passions to persevere, and of just diving in to get started. Like travel itself, podcasting is a journey with all sorts of surprising twists and turns.

Travel Podcast the World is happy to support "A Roof for Jorge" project, fundraising to build a new roof for an indigenous family in Panajachel, Guatemala. It is the initiative of Nelia Hutt, host of Giving Starts With You podcast, and an early guest on this show (Episode 5, March 1, 2022).
Nelia met Jorge and his family on her trip to Guatemala, which she talks about in our episode together, and has maintained contact with them. They are in dire need of a new roof for their house, costing approximately $1800 USD. Her Go Fund Me campaign is raising funds for this cause, a perfect example of travel creating giving opportunities, and a way for all of us to contribute in a direct, existential way to a very meaningful result.
Find the link here for the campaign, and thank you for your support! Every bit helps!
