Speaker: It really was. It was a performance by everyone, but there are a few people who stand out, and that's Edding Jekko, who shows that age is sometimes just a number when you have the football IQ and intelligence and technique that he does. He was absolutely fantastic. Those opening 20 minutes were the best football I've seen in clay in many, many years.
Speaker: absolutely unbelievable. Lautaro Martinez's finish was world -class. I mean, that's worthy of a world champion. Matteo Darmian enters utility man, coming good once again. And also, Simone Inzagi is now a cup manager. He's fourth Super Coppa in as many tries. And that's been the thing. I mean, can he translate it into a league? I think that's the final aspect of his coaching career that he needs to address.
Speaker: before you really become the next Italian super coach. But we have to talk about Milan. What is going on?
Speaker: Terrible. Terrible form. Four without a win now. Defensively, they're just a disaster right now. They've conceded nine goals in those four games. One clean sheet in 11. And we saw all that again in this game. They were opened up time and again by Inter so easily. Tamoori, again, I have to single him out. I'm a big fan of Tamoori, but he had a shocker at the back the way that he was done by
Speaker: by Lautaro for Lautaro's goal. Milan, they look tired, they look flat, they look lacking in energy. You know, Giroud, Teo, you know, I don't know if the World Cup has taken something out of them. Tenali was really bad.
Speaker: And there isn't much depth in the Milan team either. They don't have the place to come on the bench to make a difference. Milan have to snap out of this because they're out of the Italian Cup. They've lost the Super Cup in three weeks time. Their season could be over if they don't sort themselves out.
