Bonjour girlies. We are back with week with Phoebe’s own personal fav topic… celebrity gossip 💆🏻♀️. Plus the girlies are 30-something, flirty and not to thriving, in fact feeling very 22. We’ve got the summer uglies but are still getting hit on?
They talk about reality TV—especially America’s Sweethearts/Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders—and why it’s compelling: artistry, athleticism, labor politics, and villain figures. The episode’s question explores celebrity gossip sources, PR-trained “authenticity,” Patreon backlash (Trixie and Katya), and how valuing art includes paying creators. They cover Me Too’s impact, Louis C.K. discourse, and how social media, podcasts, and clips reshape reality TV gossip and ownership, then close with “girl no one wants that” about box fans and ice water.
