Miniseries: Pacific Northwest Wildlife Corridors (Part 1)

In this episode we get hyperlocal with Sally Lawrence and discuss the Save Coal Creek project in Bellevue, Washington. This is an important natural area to the Greater Seattle Area and King County. This is a time sensitive issue with a rally and important decision coming up in the next few weeks (Ep. Pub Jan 16th 2023).  

Guest: Sally Lawrence is a volunteer naturalist and salmon watcher for the City of Bellevue. She has a B.A. in Biology from Brown University and M.S. in Biological Oceanography from University of Rhode Island. Before retiring, she was a water quality specialist for Washington Department of Ecology. She loves traveling that involves hiking and learning new cultures, and Chinese food. And American dippers!

Host: Marika completed her MA in Anthrozoology at the University of Exeter, UK in 2016 and upon moving back to the Seattle area of Washington state she joined the board of Homeward Pet Adoption Center. She also holds a University degree in Zoology (UW) and a CPDT-KA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

Now, host of The Deal with Animals, she enjoys chatting with people who know a lot more than she does about the various research disciplines of Anthrozoology as well as authors, nonprofits, professionals, and enthusiasts!
