Jedi Business: The Objective Success of The Last Jedi | Star Wars 7x7 Season 2, Episode 1

It's the seventh anniversary of the release of The Last Jedi, and with a little distance from the discourse, the evidence is clear - by box office dollars, ticket sales, DVD sales, critics ratings, and audience surveys, TLJ is one of the most successful Star Wars movies of all time. And that's even when you consider the kind of storytelling corner Rian Johnson was backed into by J.J. Abrams and The Force Awakens.

We'll talk about those measures, the movie itself, and the moment it got caught up in that has tainted honest discussion of the movie. We'll also touch on the current United HealthCare situation, the Iraq War, the Howard Stern autobiography, Battlestar Galactica, and more. Punch it!
