2025 Star Wars Preview: Live Action, Animation, and More | Star Wars 7x7 Season 2, Episode 3

The biggest story in Star Wars in 2024 was the story of The Acolyte. It was the highest profile content Lucasfilm released, but it was so much more than that. It reflected the state of Star Wars fandom, served as an example of streaming economics, and show us what we have to look forward to over the next decade of Star Wars storytelling. Punch it!

The Biggest Star Wars Story of 2024 | Star Wars 7x7 Season 2, Episode 2

It's the seventh anniversary of the release of The Last Jedi, and with a little distance from the discourse, the evidence is clear - by box office dollars, ticket sales, DVD sales, critics ratings, and audience surveys, TLJ is one of the most successful Star Wars movies of all time. And that's even when you consider the kind of storytelling corner Rian Johnson was backed into by J.J. Abrams and The Force Awakens.

We'll talk about those measures, the movie itself, and the moment it got caught up in that has tainted honest discussion of the movie. We'll also touch on the current United HealthCare situation, the Iraq War, the Howard Stern autobiography, Battlestar Galactica, and more. Punch it!

Jedi Business: The Objective Success of The Last Jedi | Star Wars 7x7 Season 2, Episode 1

Let's call it season two, episode zero, shall we? over the last four months (time flew by!), I've developed an appreciation for the Sequel Trilogy that I didn't quite have before - not that I didn't like them, just that they didn't seem to hit the same way they do today... Punch it!
