But I feel like we have to start with what we address of our game of the week over the weekend.

Is Man City's Dominance Over?

Yeah, it's funny you say, okay, you know, talk about how people looked at it as the coronation of Liverpool, you know, winning within the title or winning in the league potentially, right, with beating City. But for me, I didn't even look at it that way. For me, why I looked at it is still a form of coordination, but not that it was about Liverpool. I think it was more about Man City. And, you know, when you get Man City, 18 has won, what, the 1-4 in a row.

and you get in there, the the one of the greatest managers of all time, if not the greatest manager, pulling putting up the six, pulling up the six, the six fingers, that just tells me, like, over in the whole time, seeing and watching Man City be great. We've never had to see pep resorts to having to stick up to fans in terms of, you know, showing, putting up fingers to show or represent how many titles or how many championships or whatever the case, how many cups he's won.

And for me, that just what that game showed to me was it confirmed. And I know it's early, but I don't think this is really a hot take anymore to say this, but I just don't see, I don't think Man City are going to be in the league. For me, that's what it really, that game really coordinated to me was simply Man City are not within the league five in a row. Whether it's Liverpool that carries a cup, whether it's Chelsea, whether it's Arsenal, whether it's whoever.

But I want to stick my head out and say that I think this year we're going to have a new, a new team that's going to be lifting up that EPL trophy. Man, when they played Liverpool at Anfield, they looked like, guess I guess all the only way you can put it, men against boys. It was a crazy, crazy game in terms of like just how dominant Liverpool were against them. And like they just look so different without having that safety safety piece in laundry in the field. like I just think you know age is a factor for sure. It has to be a factor. you know They're better players.

And I mean, everyone, I mean, look, granted, he balled out in a big way last year for Man City.

man, Phil Forden, you know what I'm saying, that he needs he needs to show up and until he does, like, it's going to be uncomfortable conversations because I remember when, you know, arguments were being made about him being a much, him being world class and Baka'i Osaka not. I don't, I can't see how the argument can be made after seeing how consistent Saka has been and how reliable he's been in the last three to four seasons and watching Phil Forden this year, like, you know, he ain't producing. He ain't doing what he what he what needs to do. what When the team needs him to step up with the the whole idea of Phil Forden coming through was that he was going to be that next, you know, stepping stone for him off from Kevin De Bruyne. Yeah, there were there were two things that that really really stood out to me you know coming out of the game. One was, as you mentioned, is just the gap between Liverpool and Man City. It was really startling to me. I don't think I've ever seen City look that that out of out of pace. i don't i don't know I don't know the right word to use.

in a game like this with all the implications like it was they looked rattled like you know maybe you could say you know man said you're out of form you know they're not where they used to be but with the experience that they have you know you could say okay they're older but you know I expect them to have a certain level of experience they you know they look rattled like how you know, we saw a young Arsenal team be rattle, which, which I don't expect for that Man City team. So that was really startling to see. They got out, out muscled, out paced, you know, everything. And so that, that was really startling and alarming to see. And you know what, it could just be, you know, usually you expect teams to have a bit of a dip, you know, have a bit of a hangover after, you know, one title.
