Welcome to this episode of SelfKind with Erica Webb. Today, I’m thrilled to be talking with Kosal (Kos) Lee. Kos is a Pilates instructor, mum of two, and advocate of self-respect & self-kindness.

Kos shares how Pilates and journaling has shaped her self-view which impacts her work, her parenting, and the way she treats herself.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

—How movement and exercise isn’t about looking a certain way, but that it’s about treating your body with respect.

—How Kos continues to overcome guilt for enjoying a treat and perfectionism as a mum and Pilates instructor.

—The flaws and benefits of social media, and how to manage it when it comes to feelings of your own self-worth.

—How Kos dedicates fitting in a whole day of self-care every week while working with herself to set aside feelings of guilt or judgement.

—That treating our body as an ally is a work in progress, always ongoing.

Tune in to hear the full conversation and please connect with both Kos and Erica to share your thoughts.

More about Kos:
Kos has been practicing pilates for over 13 years and she loves that it helps both the body and the mind.

She loved the benefits of pilates so much that she decided to become an instructor - studying through Polestar Pilates Australia. Kos is passionate about helping others live their best lives with a strong body and mind.

Kos believes that pilates is for every single body and that you can achieve a strong body without thrashing yourself. Kos believes in progress over perfection and that if we can consistently roll out the mat for 15, 20 or 30 minutes a few times a week, we'll reap the benefits.
