Speaker: Jose Mourinho, we've seen this movie before and we all know how it ends and it's not going to be a happy ending. He's having a meltdown. It's as simple as that. He's blaming his own players. He's blaming the referees. He's blaming his own management above him. He's throwing conspiracy theories around. One winning seven. He's lost four of those. He got hammered 6 -1 in Norway in the conference league. It's all falling apart for Mourinho and he's not helping himself.
Speaker: The following is a clip from this week's Italian football podcast.
Speaker: No, he's not helping himself, but at the same time, you have to remember the mess that the Friedkins and Thiago Pinto and him inherited. It's going to take time. It's a foundation year. You know, this is year zero for them. They have to build off of something. And I think that playing a 3 -4 -2 -1 is the way forward for them. At the end of the season, we'll know how well it's gone.
Speaker: Yeah, I agree. The only thing I can stress is calma. The theme ever since Mourinho has arrived is the word time. This is going to take time. So I don't think there's a need to overreact. It was always going to be a bit bumpy.
