In this episode I have here with me Roberta Fernandez who is a Board-Certified Hypnotist, a Certified Hypnosis Instructor, an Integrative Emotional Intelligence Specialist, and the founder of FARE Hypnosis.
In practice since 2013, she has well over 1,800 hours of training and certifications from recognized and formidable bodies in the field of hypnosis which attest to her competence as a well-grounded, highly skilled, and qualified hypnotist.
Her 40 years of experience in education, organizational change and systems, emotional intelligence, and working across public and private sectors as a consultant, trainer, and coach, add to her skills as a hypnotist in working with clients and training students.
Her past speaking and training clients include Kemps, Pentair, Sam’s Club, Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association, Minnesota Perinatal Organization, Methodist Hospital Rehab and Fitness, and the Minnesota Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, to mention a few.
Roberta is also the author of two books - Breaking Free from Pain and Opioids: Discovering the Hypnosis Option and Your Compass for a Balanced Life.
Roberta received the coveted Research Award in 2017 from the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).
She is her own 'living' testimonial and validation of the potency of the use of hypnosis as a complement to allopathic medicine, having used it to successfully manage her severe knee pain pre-surgery and after her bilateral knee replacement (both knees at the same time). She used only hypnosis to manage her pain, not drugs.
