Speaker: Do you feel drawn to learn more about witchcraft in the occult, but feel lost somewhere to start? Then welcome to Get In Loser, we're doing witchcraft, a podcast all about what it means to be a witch and where to get started on your journey. Join us as we navigate through various witchy topics and share what we have learned about the craft. So get in witches and let's learn about astrology and how to find your big three.
Speaker: Okay, astrology, week three, baby. It's like the most confusing yet easiest thing on the planet to just start out with, but also wild. That's how I feel about astrology. It's so easy to figure out your birth chart, but at the same time, it's like, what does this mean? Yeah.
Speaker: Really, it really is. And then trying to even just understand my own things, like outside of what my big three means, even just the other things I'm constantly like, okay, let me go see. Where is my Mercury? Where's my Venus? Like, I don't know. That's my true node. Like I, I'm so confused. Yeah.
Speaker: So with that, obviously we're talking about astrology today. Astrology really is like perfect for literally anyone. It has a pretty low entry barrier and there's like copious amounts of information out there on it. If you wish to like dive really deep, you can fall down astrology rabbit holes for hours, which I did in some of this research. I was like, I need to go to bed.
Speaker: So astrology can be as simple as just knowing your sun sign and reading your horoscope, or it can be as difficult as understanding every planet's position at the time and place of your birth and what that means for you as a person, which if you ever looked at your birth chart, it's daunting.
Speaker: I remember the first time I think you were the one that was like, Oh, go in cafe astrology and put in your stuff. And I was like, Oh, okay. And I was like, I don't know what any of this is. Look at the circle. What do I care about Pluto? What's happening?
Speaker: I didn't even know Pluto was a planet. I thought they decided it wasn't. Now it is. So if you're confused, like obviously that's okay. We are too at most times. And even years into looking into these things, most people still are. It can be super confusing until you really start to get into the research and the meaning of each piece of your birth chart.
Speaker: And also just as a fair warning, we are not experts on this topic. Not even close. Any means like not even close. Yeah. Astrology is so involved. You could literally study astrology your entire life and still not know everything there is to know about it. So it can be overwhelming, but just know that we've all been there and hopefully this episode will help you out with basics.
Speaker: at the very least. Hopefully it gets you thinking more about it and learning everything. But as someone who also recently went through what is my birth chart, it's very daunting at first. So astrology, according to Merriam -Webster, is the divination of the supposed influences of the stars and planets on human affairs and terrestrial events by their positions and aspects.
Speaker: And the art or I like to say the science of astrology is knowing that mankind is not only influenced by hereditary factors and environment, but it's also the state of our solar system at the time of your birth. The planets are life forces and can be used as tools for our very existence. And we've referenced this a lot already on our podcast, whenever we've discussed like the will of the year and just other things that our ancestors use the planets
Speaker: for to dictate just how they live their daily life. So this is nothing new. This is something that's been going on for a really long time. Astrology has existed for more than 3000 years and it can be considered the elder sister of psychology, which I thought was really cool. And the reason why they say this is because both astrology and psychology explore and help people to understand the psyche.
Speaker: And Carl Jung, which is a psychologist that we've mentioned before on the podcast, I think in multiple episodes, he was very interested in both astrology and the occult. And he believed that an individual's disposition was innate and not acquired throughout the course of life. And so a lot of astrology is based on that theory that, you know, obviously the environment can help shape us as a person, but are innate.
Speaker: disposition as a human is something that we developed whenever we were born. It's not something that we developed throughout the course of our life. And so it's believed that astrology can help to discover the nature of the innate. It helps us understand what we don't know about ourselves and help us to get to know ourselves better and
Speaker: help point out character traits that maybe we, that we're not even conscious of yet and helps us to kind of explore that, understand it and see how it shows up in our daily life. So astrology originated in Babylon and some of the first astrological records date back as early as 4 ,000 BC and in the cultural region known as Babylonia. So Babylonians observed and recorded the movement of the planets and the stars.
Speaker: And these astrologers basically built the foundations for the Greek and Hellenistic astrological practices. The original purpose of astrology was to inform the individual of the course of their life on the basis of the positions of the planets and the zodiac signs for the 12 astrological constellations.
Speaker: at the moment of their birth or their conception. So this involves forecasting of earthly and human events through observation and interpretation of the fixed stars, sun, moons and planets. It's believed that through understanding the influence of the planets and stars on earthly affairs, you can then predict and affect the destinies of individuals, groups and nations. Astrology's assumptions lie historically in Hellenistic philosophy
Speaker: and radically distinguishes astrology from the celestial ominous or omens that were first categorized and cataloged in the ancient Mesopotamia. So this is one of my favorites. Astrology is mentioned by Jesus in the Bible and he puts an emphasis on its importance when like having discussions with his disciples. He stated that by following astrological events that they would be able to tell when there was his second coming. Plus, I mean, there's a lot of stuff in
Speaker: especially the Old Testament, that's very witchy, even though the church condemns a lot of it, but whatever, I digress. So the three main types of astrology are general astrology, and this is astrology that studies the relationship of the significant celestial moments like times of varnal equinoxes, eclipses, or planetary conjunctions to social groups, nations, or all of humanity.
Speaker: So Katarsic is pertaining to beginnings or sources, so it's considered Katarsic astrology, and this determines whether or not a chosen moment is astrologically conductive to the success of a course of action that began it, and then interrogatory astrology.
Speaker: This provides answers to a client's queries based on the situation of the heavens at the moment of their posing the question. And this form is closer to divination by omens, and it insists upon a ritual of purification and preparation of the astrologer to be performed before the answer can be given. Basically, you ask the question, then the astrologer that's doing this
Speaker: particular form will go through a ritual of purification and do all these preparations. And that's how they obtain the answer to your question and then give it to you. I love that. Right. I was like, this is very interesting. I feel like everything I researched in astrology, I was like, what? Historically, astral omens tied to astrology can be found in Mesopotamia.
Speaker: the ancient Middle East, Egypt, Greece, India, China, and even in the Hellenistic period, which for those that don't know, that's the third century BC to the third century AD, and just many more areas. Historically, astrology is tied to events across all cultures, all realms, all periods of time.
Speaker: So it's pretty cool to like research it and see whether people believe in it or not. There are patterns that show that it works.
Speaker: So just some basics of what you might need to know going into astrology. Obviously, there's zodiac signs. For those that don't know them, I'll do a quick run through Aries, which is what Samantha is. This symbol is the Ram. And this is March 21st through April 19th. And it is a fire sign. Taurus is a bull. And their dates are April 20th to May 20th. And they're an earth sign.
Speaker: Gemini is the twins, May 21st through June 21st, and they're an air sign. Cancers are a crab. They're June 22nd through July 22nd, and they're a water sign. Leos are the lion, July 23rd through August 22nd, and they're a fire sign. Virgos are the virgin, and that's August 23rd through September 22nd. They're earth signs. Libra is the balance.
Speaker: September 23rd through October 23rd, they're air signs. Scorpios are a scorpion. October 24th through November 21st, and they're water signs. Sagittarius are the archer. November 22nd through December 21st, and they're a fire sign. Capricorn, which is me, we're the goat, obviously.
Speaker: obviously goats. Obviously. December 22nd through January 19th and those are earth signs. Aquarius, they're the water carrier, which I didn't know that. I guess I never really paid attention to what their symbol was.
Speaker: Yeah I don't know why but I was like I had to look it up after I read that I was like the water carrier and I was like oh that makes so much sense. They're January 20th through February 18th they're air signs and then Pisces which are the fish they're February 19th through March 20th and they're water signs.
Speaker: And then for the elements, like obviously each one is tied to an element. There's also keywords that go to that element for each of the signs. So for water, the keywords for that were emotional and attached, sensitive, mysterious, and home and family oriented. And then just a little bit extra, they're very imaginative and their emotional lives are deep and rich, according to the internet.
Speaker: Thank you, Internet. Fire signs, keywords are dynamic, active, impulsive, and temperamental. Fire signs are also known to apply their energies wholeheartedly, so their emotional response is quick and they usually have a lively imagination. Air signs are communicative, active, analytical, and social.
Speaker: And they're usually quick and animated and they apply their energies in diverse ways and they tend to intellectualize their feelings and emotions. And then earth signs are sensual, grounded, patient, which I am not. My husband is also an earth sign. He's very patient with me, but patient is not a word I would apply to myself and practical.
Speaker: Um, Mike is also an earth sign and he is very way more patient than I could ever be, but, um, they react quietly and slowly. They apply themselves with endurance and emotionally they are deeply rooted and slow to change. I hate change, which is me. Yeah.
Speaker: So to dive into astrology, try exploring your birth chart, which is a visual representation of the sky at the moment that you were born. It contains a series of astrological signs, planets, houses, and other symbols that work together to provide information about patterns and themes that may emerge in your life.
Speaker: Most people know their sun sign, which is usually just simply referred to as the zodiac sign. But to go a step further, you can find your big three, which are your sun, your moon, and your rising, or sometimes called your ascending sign. To find your big three, you'll need your birth information, so your birthplace, date, and time. There are a ton of websites available that you can just enter your information in, and it will pull your birth chart. The ones that I could think of off the top of my head would be astro .com.
Speaker: Astro Seek and then Cafe Astrology. There's also an app called Chani. The app itself is free and it'll give you basic information, but it does require a paid yearly subscription, I believe, of $30 to get your full chart. But it'll give you your big three for free.
Speaker: Um, there's a couple of apps that I have on my phone that I really like one of them's co -star. And then the other one is the sanctuary app. And with those, you could just put in your information and it'll give you your full birth chart and it will go into, especially sanctuary. I think is my favorite.
Speaker: because it'll go into, it'll give you your horoscope for that day, and then it'll talk more about what each placement means in your chart, which I really like, but you can absolutely pay an astrologist to do this for you. However, you don't have to do this, and all of these things
Speaker: don't require money. You can do this for free. It just is a little bit more work on your end because obviously if you're paying to have this done, it's going to be more like they're, you're being handheld to get the information and you're not doing the work yourself, which can be awesome. Like I would love to, somebody just explain everything to me, please. It can be confusing, but just know you don't have to, this isn't any gatekeeping information by any means. It's just some people
Speaker: have studied this their whole life and should definitely be paid for their skills. But you could do it on yourself or do it on yourself.
Speaker: I mean technically. But you could do it yourself. When you enter your birth information you'll need to type your location and time of birth as exact as possible or your chart could reflect inaccurately and I'll discuss why later but like knowing down to the minute of when you were born is really important to be able to get your rising sign because that's like that one is specifically tied to your exact time of birth and your location.
Speaker: Knowing your big three are key in understanding your astrological blueprint. They're the go -to for understanding your character when it comes to astrology.
Speaker: And the big three, a great way to kind of look at it or just understand it, they're basically the tripod of your birth chart. So the sun sign is influenced by the moon and the rising sign. So this is why you may know someone with the same sun sign as you, maybe even someone who was born on the exact same day as you, but your personality is completely different. And that's because your personality is not just dependent on your sun sign or your zodiac sign, it's dependent on everything else in your chart.
Speaker: but especially your moon and rising and how it affects your sun sign. So your sun sign is the essence of your personality. It represents your main form of expression. It can represent an overarching theme in your life and your personality. And it's the way that you shine, like your vitality and your self -expression. It's typically related to your identity in some way. And according to astro .com,
Speaker: which is one of my favorite websites for just anything astrology related. The sun shows us the general vitality and ability to assert oneself. It describes a general tone of being which colors everything else. It shines a light on your sense of self and individuality, and it can reflect your overall approach to life, your values, and your creative energy.
Speaker: Your sun sign is based on the sun's position in the sky at your time of birth, so the sun moves through the zodiac signs at the same pace every year.
Speaker: It stays in each sign for about four weeks before it moves on to the next sign. And this typically occurs between the 18th and the 23rd of each month. The sun is the center of the universe. So your sun sign is basically the central to your personality. A good way to look at it is that the sun rules the self. So your identity and the fuel that you run on to survive as well.
Speaker: Your moon sign is your emotional nature. So it represents your inner world and your overall emotions. Your overall emotions. It represents your deep inner emotions and details about yourself that may be hidden or beneath the surface. So this could be like your feelings, your thoughts,
Speaker: Again, those emotions that you might not share with others. Your moon sign is tied to your intuition and it can signal what's meaningful to you. It also has an effect on your sense of rhythm and timing as it influences our adaptability to change, our mobility, and our versatility. It relates to your inner monologue, so your intuition and your emotional needs, that person in your head that's talking to you, that is all kind of related back to your moon sign.
Speaker: Your moon sign is based on where the moon was positioned at the time of your birth, so same with the sun sign. Where the sun was is your sun sign, where the moon was is your moon sign. The moon moves quickly through each of the zodiacs, staying in each one for only two and a half days each, and completing a full cycle through the zodiacs in one month's time. Your moon sign regulates your moods in the way that the moon waxes and wanes.
Speaker: So research dating back as far as 400 BC blamed behavioral changes on the pool of the moon. The word lunatic came from the idea that changes in the mental state were also related to the lunar cycles. This is a deeply sensitive and emotional astrological placement that tends to guide our private lives.
Speaker: Our rising or ascending sign is the face that you show to the world, basically. It represents how others see you and how you move through the world. So like that first impression of you that comes from your rising or your ascending sign, essentially. Also, it shows you how you will interact with your surroundings and your rising sign really stands for how you start in life and the energies that influence that moment in time when you were born. So it gives us the spiritual
Speaker: mental orientation we need when following our chosen path. And I was reading, when I was reading about this, I really liked this analogy and it was an analogy of a vehicle and a road sign. So essentially the planets that are in our chart are the vehicle and our ascendant is the road sign because our ascendant obviously is not attached to any planets.
Speaker: So when you're driving, the road sign can help a vehicle reach its intended destination without getting lost, making detours or losing track. So that's a really great way to kind of think about exactly what the Ascendant is and how it guides us. I really like that. Yeah, I did too. I was like, this is amazing.
Speaker: Rising signs change every two hours. So even if you're born on the same day as someone, it's likely that your rising signs are going to be different from each other. It is believed that the rising sign can represent the roadmap to becoming the fullest version of yourself.
Speaker: So finding your rising sign is more mathematically complex, but essentially whatever zodiac sign is touching the eastern horizon at your exact time of birth is your rising or your ascending sign, which I thought was really cool. I didn't know that. I didn't either. I didn't know that before we decided to do this episode and I was doing research. I was like, that's actually kind of cool.
Speaker: And it makes sense. Yeah. That's one of those like, you're just like, whatever, this is my rising sign. And then you find out what it actually is. And you're like, okay, that's why it's a rising sign. This cycle moves the fastest of the big three. So it shifts every two to three hours and it cycles all 12 signs within a single day. So because of this, twins could be born minutes apart, but still have different rising signs.
Speaker: The Ascendant directs the first impression that you make and it also says a lot about who you will attract to you or who you'll be attracted to.
Speaker: And so outside of just your big three, I think it's also kind of important to understand how each element occurs in three states, sometimes known as qualities or modalities based on how we function and express ourselves in the world. So depending on the placement of the planet, it can determine basic traits of someone's personality. And we kind of already touched a little bit on this when we were discussing keywords, but essentially these,
Speaker: Three states, they're called the cardinal signs, thick signs, and mutable signs. So cardinal signs, this is going to be Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn. And they're known as cardinal signs because these are the signs that initiate the beginning of the four seasons.
Speaker: So obviously Aries, that's initiating spring. Libra is initiating fall. Cancer is initiating summer. And Capricorn is initiating winter. But people with an emphasis on cardinal signs and their charts have an urge to take the lead and shape things. They're known as the initiators and act according to their aims and goals.
Speaker: They're usually visionary leaders and have like go getting attitudes, but they lack the stability to follow through their actions and need to be paired with a fixed sign for more balance in their approach, which I see this so much in my own personal life because I'm an Aries and I have a lot of Aries in my chart. My husband is a Taurus.
Speaker: and which is a fixed sign and I definitely require his stability because I am like, let's do this. And the next day I'm like, I don't want to do this anymore. And then he's like, but we already signed up for this and we already, we have to do the work now. And I'm like, I don't really want to do this anymore. That's literally me all the time. I'm like, I don't want to do these plans, but you met them yesterday. They changed my mind.
Speaker: Yes. Yeah, literally. Like you sounded great at the time, but I don't know me anymore. Um, so fixed signs, these are Leo Aquarius Scorpio and Taurus, and they're immovable. They're usually fixated and oftentimes pretty stubborn. And they have a desire to build on what is already there and to organize it more efficiently. So usually if you have a lot of fixed signs in your charts,
Speaker: You're known to work hard to carry out your ideas and visions. You preserve the status quo and act in response to given situations. You're not a big fan of change or unnecessary shifts in plans, but you're very trustworthy and loyal. And then as far as immutable signs, those are the signs that end the four seasons. And so this would be Sagittarius, Gemini.
Speaker: Pisces and Virgo. And so for Sagittarius, that's kind of like the ending of fall, beginning of winter, Gemini, the ending of spring to summer, Pisces ending of winter going into spring and Virgo ending of summer going into fall. So they tend to seek change and renewal and they can easily replace one thing with another and align their actions very quickly. They're known as being very flexible. They're also impressionable.
Speaker: They can absorb the characteristics of the people they spend the most time with. And I can relate to this a lot because my moon is Gemini, and I feel like I have this quality if I'm around somebody for a specific period of time, I will start talking like them.
Speaker: Yeah. And I don't know why, but I think I definitely can relate to that, but they're known as like non -judgmental and supposedly they're wiser than cardinal and fixed signs because they understand that change is constant and change is always something that's going to happen in our lives. So Anthony, my husband is a Virgo. He's very trashy.
Speaker: But he is also very flexible and he, I would say he's smarter than me. Yeah. Well, but I feel like too, cause it's not just, you know, it's not just our sun signs though too. So like for me, because I am, um, an Aries, that's my sun sign and which is a cardinal sign. I can definitely see because my, um, I have air, my son is an Aries, my rising is cancer.
Speaker: but I have that mutable sign of Gemini as my moon. I can see how, because when people meet me, they don't know all of a sudden that I'm an Aries. Like some people might, but other people might not ever think that I'm an Aries until they got to know me a little bit better. But that's just because like that face that I put out to the world is my, my rising, which is cancer. And that's totally different than how Aries is predicted to usually act.
Speaker: And see, I have double cardinal signs with a fixed sign because my son is Capricorn, my moon is Libra, but my rising is Aquarius.
Speaker: So maybe that's like, I have that balance with that fixed sign. Cause you were saying like between you and Mike, maybe it's just because I have that, who knows? Right. Yeah. I can definitely see that. Yeah. Because I was even looking, I was just like, Oh, well, whenever I was reading this, I was like, okay, well, um, it reminded me of like just podcast stuff because I feel like, because I don't have a fixed sign, I need that I rely on your stability a lot.
Speaker: I'm always like, am I being annoying? I'm just like, oh yes, this is the best reminder ever. But then I was like, oh, so Capricorn, I know, like, I don't even have to look Capricorn. I'm telling you it's a thick sign. No, it's not. No, I'm a hot mess by myself. See, and I feel like, I mean, Anthony is a musical sign essentially.
Speaker: but I haven't plugged his, I don't know his birth time to plug in. I'd have to find his birth certificate. I'm curious what his big three are, cause he doesn't know. He just knows he's a Virgo.
Speaker: Yeah, Mike is like a hundred percent. When I look at his big three, I can see a thousand, especially Taurus, like especially, yeah, it was just like, well, that could be anybody. And I'm like, no, literally everything they say is you text. Well, and that I always laugh. Like I follow a lot of like Capricorn ones on.
Speaker: Instagram because they're so funny. I'm like, they'll post a video and I'm like, I literally was doing that this morning. It's you can say like, believe whatever you want or just be like, Oh, it's all hokey. It's just simple things. But no, like things that people say about earth signs or Capricorns or fergos or pores in general does not fit everyone. And it is funny when you have a lot of friends that are
Speaker: like you know what their signs are and you can start to understand like their reactions to things or how things make them feel or you know, just their personality in general and how you mesh with them. It's yeah, it is so interesting. It really is. Well, and I feel like too, I've seen this before and I think it's something that we've even shared amongst ourselves is that
Speaker: I feel like just astrology in general and like understanding other people's placements and especially their big three, it's a love language in and of itself because caring enough about the other person to see how they view the world and how they interact with their world and what sort of things comfort them, what sort of things irritate them.
Speaker: knowing that about, you know, a partner or a loved one, your children. I think it's also just good for everyone individually. Like I know I've talked about this with Sophie. I believe Sophie is our friend Sophie. I know the podcast doesn't know who she is, but she's a friend, a mutual friend of Sam and I's. But she is, I believe in Aries and she talks about how every time she comes across something that's like for her sign,
Speaker: She doesn't relate to it at all. She's like, I don't even understand how astrology works because I don't, this isn't me at all, like every time. So it would be interesting to see what the rest of her birth chart is, to see like where she does relate and you know, like what aspects actually like project who she is. Yeah.
Speaker: She totally should plug in her birth time and see because I guarantee you that's probably what it is, is she has other signs that are influencing her just zodiac sign. And it's obviously it's.
Speaker: Because if we had no other signs that would influence us, then everybody would, it would just be like 12 personalities. I added some extra things in here that I came across that weren't necessarily pertinent to the information that we're putting out in this episode.
Speaker: but they are too interesting to not include. So you guys are getting them anyways. So only someone born at the exact minute as you and in the same time zone as you will share your actual birth chart, which we kind of talked about like with the ascending sign, because they change so quickly, you could be twins and not have the same birth chart. But if you're born at the same time as someone that's in a different time zone, your birth charts are still going to be different. This means that twins can have completely different birth charts.
Speaker: So like say, which I always find this really funny when they're twins and they're born like one of them's born before midnight and one of them's born after midnight. So they have completely different birthdays even. But like, depending on that time, your birth chart can be like complete opposite of each other. And then some really interesting stuff that I found. So President Ronald Reagan consulted an astrologer before every major move and decision, including his reelection announcement. But then you have people that are like astrology isn't real. Tell that to President Reagan.
Speaker: Tell that to President Theodore Roosevelt who often quoted horoscope and he kept his birth chart in the drawing room at the White House. I like that. Right? He's like, this is my birth chart, everyone. On display. Astrologers. Why does this word weird to me? I don't know.
Speaker: I struggled with it all day. Astrologers worldwide predicted a disturbance to happen in 2020, enter the COVID -19 pandemic. And we were talking about this earlier, like we both came across this and we both remembered hearing something like astrology wise, like, oh, something is going to happen in 2020. There's going to be some weird disturbance. Nobody thought it was COVID.
Speaker: Yeah. Everybody thought it was going to be a war, but yet here we are. And we have had, I mean, we haven't, but there has been also, but all those documentaries, like that unexplained or explained that Netflix documentary, whether like they'll take a topic and they'll do like a 30 minutes, like explained on this. They remember they did one for a strategy.
Speaker: Yeah. And I remember watching it like a few months before 2020 and Mike's like, see, there's no backing in science. And I'm like, you're like, COVID hit. I'm like, what did I tell you? Weird. Yeah.
Speaker: And then this one I found completely interesting, but also I was a little sad at the end of this one. So it's believed that Adolf Hitler's birth chart actually predicted his future. An astrologer predicted that someone born on the 20th of April in 1889 would rise to power, then enter Adolf Hitler. And then an assassination attempt of Hitler was predicted by a different astrologer. This was a Swiss astrologer named Karl Kraft.
Speaker: And he was, because he predicted this to happen, he was arrested by the Nazis. And once they found him innocent, the Minister of Propaganda, mind you. I hate him. What a cool title. I'm the Minister of Propaganda. Goebbels was his last name, I think is how you say it. I could be very wrong. So Goebbels, Goebbels, Goebbels. Goebbels, a lot of them.
Speaker: Propaganda. So he basically, they basically forced Kraft to be the Nazis in -house astrologer. Like it was basically like, we've arrested you. We've found you not guilty. So you could either be our astrologer in house or who knows what might happen to you. And so unfortunately he goes on to be the astrologer, um, like the in -house astrologer for the Nazis.
Speaker: And it was Kraft's astrological forecast that then led Hitler to start the successful Operation Barossa attacks.
Speaker: Right. I know. I was like, he was found not guilty, but then forced to be their astrologer. Cause it was like, be our astrologer or else because he's like, if you say no, they're obviously going to find some other reason to keep you in prison because they're awful. Yeah. And then you know, your whole family. Yeah. And then so here he is like, he's actually a pretty decent astrologer and he predicts these things and it leads to their success, which.
Speaker: And then each zodiac sign has a special relation with a part of the human body. And reading these, I was like, oh, that's really cool. And then I got to mine and I was like, that's stupid.
Speaker: So Aries is associated with the head. Taurus is the neck and shoulders. Gemini, the throat, lungs, and breath. Cancer, the midsection. Leo, the heart, and the upper back. Virgos are the abdomen and digestive system, which also we, I told Anthony this because obviously he's a Virgo, I said that earlier.
Speaker: But I was like, hey, did you know that Virgos are associated with the abdomen and like digestive system? And he was like, yeah, we're really fucking stressed. So we have a lot of GI problems. Makes sense. Right. Makes sense. Now, Libras are associated with the kidneys and the lower back. Scorpios are the reproductive organs and the hips. Sagittarius, the thighs and legs. Frickin' cavern horns. We get the bones and the joints.
Speaker: Ew. Right? I was like, ew. That's not sexy. No. And it was talking, so reading through this, they also have like reasons and like things that could be like, if this sign doesn't do this, these areas could bother them. And for, I really did laugh at this point because, you know, with Capricorns being bones and joints, it said that if Capricorns don't take their time to like stretch and do like mobility work,
Speaker: they'll be like super stiff and they'll hurt all the time. They'll have like back pain and knee pain. And Anthony laughs because like I do, you know, I do these functional fitness workouts and they program into it. Like we have scheduled mobility work at the beginning and at the end. And I'm always like, fuck that. Let's get to the workout. And then I'm like, oh my back hurts.
Speaker: And I was like, well, I'm not telling him that part. Anthony, you're not allowed to listen to this episode. Just the little men in black flash. It's gone from your brain. The Aquarius are shens, calves, and ankles, and then Pisces are associated with hands and feet.
Speaker: Oh, that one's cute. And I will say too, like with, um, I remember the first time I was reading about Aries and how there's like there, they ruled the head. Um, they say that oftentimes Aries will injure their head or they will have like headaches often. And that's true. And then literally every single ER visit that we've had to take Avery in for has been a head injury.
Speaker: She's an Aries. I know with like the Capricorn one, it was, I was like, of course I stuck on that one cause that one was mine, but it was like talking about how if you don't take precautions, it can like mean like early arthritis problems or like just joint and bone issues in general. And I was like, great. Thanks universe. Yeah. Also, if you just heard that noise, I'm sorry, my cat is throwing a fit because he cannot come in my room right now.
Speaker: because my door shut. Did you hear him? He was like, I didn't hear him. Oh, it was very loud. I heard him in my headset. So who knows? He might come on the recording. That would be Tolkien, everybody. He's very needy, but also very cute.
Speaker: Yeah, he is very cute. That's it. Yeah, that's it for our struggle. That's actually not astrology. That's what we're covering. Yeah, that's just like a tiny little layer. And that is the intro to it's literally, yeah, it's just enough to wet your appetite. And then after this, if you haven't,
Speaker: go online to any of the amazing resources that we listed and we'll put them in our show notes for this episode because I feel like it would be important. Um, but go online, look at your birth chart and learn more about yourself. And then if you feel so inclined, let us know what your big three are and let us know if you
Speaker: relate to it, or if you don't, or if you think it's all just baloney, which it's not, but if you can think that Sam's coming in hot.
Speaker: If you think it's baloney, fuck off. Right. It's actually not, but you know, you are entitled to your own opinion. You're entitled to a wrong opinion. Exactly. So just, you know, let us know. I do feel it is an eye -opening topic when you know certain things about yourself, like things that irritate you or like how you react to certain things or how you
Speaker: kind of mesh or gel with other people, and then you see what your signs are and kind of what they, like what their keywords are or kind of just their like traits in general, it starts to really make sense for you. Yeah, at least it does. Yeah, I have my kids and my husband's birth chart and then like, just
Speaker: understanding more about them and how they function and I just love it. Yeah, it can also help like you and your relationships. It really can. Understanding how other people
Speaker: function and how they react to things and why they do things that they do. And obviously, like, whatever your sign says is your traits, if you don't mesh with that, it's not the, like, it's not the, what is the word? I'm trying to think of this. Like, end all, be all, it's not like... Yeah, yeah. In my head, I'm like, it's not, uh, end game. And I'm like, it's not the Avengers either, Tiffany, get it together.
Speaker: but yeah essentially like it's not the end all be all it could you know maybe a different sign is more prominent or maybe you're on the cusp like my husband is on the cusp he is on the very last day of Virgo and so he does have a lot of Virgo traits but again like how it said like they're not judgy he's very judgy my husband is hilariously judgy
Speaker: Yeah, whenever I first met him, I remember I thought he was a Libra. I was like, you're a Libra. And he was like, No, I'm a Virgo. And I was like, Oh, and then that's when you're like, he's on the cusp. And I'm like, Okay, well, I feel like I can see a lot of labor qualities. Yeah, he's got like a pretty good balance of both. So maybe just do a little research and see how, how you feel about what your birth term sounds about you.
