And... you know Trevor Chalaba being one of them, you know didn't even allow him to even step foot on the pre-season tour, didn't give him a shirt number whatsoever, went to went to Palace, suddenly started doing well at Palace and then recalled him back. you know and And again, you know with Sterling, I just think since then, it's kind of really, like it's just I think it's just really knocked his confidence off.

And, you know, Sterling as well, he's he's been a he's been an individual who has been kind of like Marcus Rashford in a way. He's been a champion for black athletes in um England, first and foremost. He's been fantastic in representation of black athletes.

He has. He really has. And the thing is, when you look at someone like Raheem Sterling, I mean, i kind of touched on it. And I think a few of the other boys have touched on it as well. When he came to Arsenal, you know, the announcement video, that announcement video was kind of like, right, you know what?

I'm here to kind of really prove myself. Unfortunately, since that announcement video, we've not seen him prove himself. I mean, as far as I can think of, he's only scored one goal for Arsenal.

And it's not even... Exactly. Not even in the Premier League, it was against Preston North End. Now, I thought when he when he scored... Normally, ah tend to think that, know, if a player struggling for confidence, maybe a goal might just do it.

But the drop-off has been stark. And that's what we're going to look at in the second half. I mean, in particular, because he wanted to come he wanted to leave City because he wasn't get enough playing time. It seems as though he's never going to get any playing time at Chelsea.

But with Arsenal, Jamie, I mean, he's being kept out by 17-year-old. He has been, at least, when Saka got injured.

you know what? It's actually crazy to even think that and a a player of Sterling's experience and bearing in mind, was it his second season where he worked under Arteta and his stats were absolutely really good.

And I just think maybe... be maybe Sterling hasn't had that consistency of games. We've had the Champions League to deal with. we've had Before we've had the EFL Cup, we've had the FA Cup.

You know, that there there are teams where you could have maybe played him against the likes of, say, an Ipswich or a Leicester or a Wolves or, you know, a Brentford.

But I just personally think we've, ah for for Sterling, he's just not had that consistent run. And I think that's what is sadly really kind of ruined his career.

Now, I don't know again, if it's the fact that he was put in the cold at Chelsea or if it's something that's gone in his body because to drop off being able to pass that well, suddenly that doesn't necessarily even strike me as a confidence thing.
