Analyzing Jose Mourinho's Coaching Style

Speaker
And of course, we have Jose Mourinho. What do you make of the job he's done so far? I see. I was saying to myself, come on, Joe, don't just speak your mind politically correctly. I do not like Jose Mourinho.

to me you know oh my god man i give me give me i'll take my boy Dionisi who was my coach of an SU who's the sesrollo coach and he took a week i mean uh you know i know he did something really special and great like 100 years ago um i don't know what he's what he's really won the last decade but it's not even so much that i know he's a good coach

Critique of Mourinho's Recent Achievements

Speaker
But he's not a coach that I really appreciate because here's a guy who, when things go bad, the team is not good enough. The society didn't bring them enough players, the ownership group. The referees are always against Roma. The field sucks.

My second team is not as good to compete. It's never a reflection in the mirror. It's never, boy, I really, I have to change.

Mourinho's Self-Perception and Adaptability

00:01:19
Speaker
You know, he, he considers himself, you know, I mean, first of all, anyone who names himself the special one, you know, you may need to check yourself at that point, but, you know, he really does consider himself at a different level. And he thinks people have to come to his level. He does not go down.
00:01:33
Speaker
It's just not my type of coach. I don't know him as a person. He might be a great guy, but I don't like what I see and I don't like how he's constantly blaming everyone else for failure. So that to me is a sign of weakness. Yeah, that was just my second question. Would you get on with him? But I guess not.

Public Complaints and Team Investment

Speaker
First of all, coach, you know, the Freakians have put in a lot of money. They're doing a lot of things. They're trying to reestablish Rome as one of the top teams in Italy. And when a coach being paid by that family is attacking them for not giving him the proper players, you know, if that really is how we felt, you should go into Mr. Freakans office, have a conversation.
