Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to the Daily Southampton, part of the Global Sports Podcast Network. My name is Greg Elliott and as always today, joined by my good friend and wonderful co-host, Zach Ingo Finch.
00:00:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
How doing, mate? You alright? Still flying high off the back of that wind?
00:00:27
Zak
o I'd like to say yes, but like because we did such a late night recording, i I just haven't slept properly. And like I haven't caught up. And I've also had the thing today where we have workmen over, like replacing a window in our front bedroom, which is all unimportant.
00:00:46
Zak
But it meant that I was constantly switched on because I was like, I can't. they need to speak to somebody, I need to leave my door open. Sometimes I was trying to juggle work and also juggle being social.
00:00:57
Zak
And it turns out that's just completely wiped me out, mate.
00:01:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, I get that. I feel that. But look, wait, it is still good news. Look, since...
00:01:06
Zak
often do you think when people say, mate, Zach, how are you? They just press the skip 30 second ahead button.
00:01:15
Zak
I would, to be fair.
00:01:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's why people i even love the show. It's fine.
00:01:19
Zak
and Yeah, we'd usually do a championship roundup for today, but the problem is it's just the sheer amount of like this the sheer amount of games today meant that, like...
00:01:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
But look i mean look, I've got a couple of stats that I've seen floating about since last night's game that I thought we could talk about. And we've got lots of other bits to talk about. But... Yeah.
00:01:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
which
00:01:41
Zak
We can't really. We're at a stage where we're currently recording during the middle of that. So I might like bring up a little bit. But yeah, we just meant that we weren't in as much of a position to do our usual having a look around and about the championship.
00:01:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Would you believe it? There's just too much football. Who knew?
00:01:55
Zak
Well, mean, it's much better than international break, isn't it?
00:01:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
Look, mate.
00:01:59
Zak
But sorry, mate, I interrupted you. said you've got some stats for me.
00:02:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Not too much. Yeah, all right. So this one came out from the Saints Twitter account, which I enjoyed. No players in the top four tiers of English football have more goal involvements since November than Finnaz has and Adam Armstrong.
00:02:17
Zak
Dang. Dang. Oh, I just, I can't keep banging on about it, but I'm gonna, because we do a daily podcast. It's just night and day.
00:02:27
Zak
If us being like, Adam Armstrong has potentially passed it, is he going to do as well as he was? And then like, I feel like the confidence of when he was asked if he was going to be the top goal scorer the beginning of season, we should have trusted that confidence a little bit more.
00:02:42
Zak
But man, is it a good season?
00:02:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Definitely. I mean, that's where he sat right now. But yeah, I mean, that's six goals and three assists for Finnaz and seven goals and three assists for Adam Armstrong since the start of November.
00:02:46
Zak
Yeah?
00:02:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
So like, just over a month.
00:02:55
Zak
That's not a long period of time to score that much.
00:02:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's great.
00:02:59
Zak
that's Good lord. No, no.
00:03:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
The other one was the breakdown of our front four in the last seven matches, where the lowest amount of contribution is Tom Fellows with three assists.
00:03:08
Zak
haven
00:03:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
I mean... That feels like that's more goals combined than we've scored in like three years.
00:03:37
Zak
I mean, certainly more, mate, than than last season, right? And again, I can't help but but look over the shoulder, just peeking up at the Premier League and having a good look at Wolves that basically, like, oh, we thought we had it hard. We know how it feels, but yeah, I'm just really enjoying the little run we're on, right? It just kind of feels like we can go into any game at the moment and and take on any opponent. And that's such a...
00:04:03
Zak
different place to where we've been previously. But fair play to all of them. Because again, like we we all had question marks about Finna's as. Like there might be some guy out there that was like, question mark, question mark. There might be somebody out there i was saying, oh no, he's going to come good. He's going to come good. But you were starting to even get to towards sort of the end of Wustil's reign. Like I've just yet to see him do anything.
00:04:24
Zak
And man, are we eating in our words.
00:04:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah yeah now also the November PFA player of the month
00:04:26
Zak
like
00:04:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think the fans choice.
00:04:33
Zak
I mean, why not? Like, he's doing it all.
00:04:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:04:36
Zak
Like, you know, i remember he got some criticism even during the international break when he went away to Ireland, despite scoring for them. And then he's come back and he's been the player we wanted to purchase, the player we we purchased. and and then he just kind of went missing for a little bit. But now, with you know, whatever's happened behind the scenes, like, man, it's it's weird to say but we've we've won six out of seven games. That's not a thing that...
00:05:02
Zak
It's not a thing I would have predicted early on in the season. have expected us to maybe have one or two wins in a row and then a loss, right? And then a draw or something like that. like I feel like it's almost the last couple of games, for me, you almost feel better than that that big undefeated streak we went on with Russell Martin.
00:05:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:05:19
Zak
If we could just stop leaking the goals from being silly...
00:05:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm.
00:05:26
Zak
I think we're we're in we'll be in such a better position because that's the only thing I worry about. Because if we, now we can start thinking about promotion again, Greg, if we do end up back in the Premier League, right, it's the one thing that we never resolved under Russell Martin that then proceeded to be a huge problem for us in the Premier League was the inability to to defend the important moments. and And we've still got a little bit of that, but I'm just hoping it can be worked out, right?
00:05:52
Zak
and I don't really mind if it it requires Tonda to do some crazy whatever. I don't know. But it's it's all going well at the moment.
00:06:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
if I'm I'm full of...
00:06:02
Zak
I try try to stay in the moment a little bit more.
00:06:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think it says a lot, right, that as fans, I think we're just fully bought into whatever craziness comes from Thunder because also it appears the players are and that is what's important.
00:06:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
You know, whatever whatever the tactical difference is between him and Will Steele is almost kind of irrelevant because what is evidently different is just the buy-in that he's getting.
00:06:15
Zak
plus That's what matters.
00:06:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
Like, the fight and the attitude.
00:06:27
Zak
You do wonder if... you do wonder if like some of the interviews with Wu still beforehand. Right. And again, take this sort of a pinch of salt because this is just my opinion, but some of the interviews and when we're talking about him turning around and being like, the players were asking my permission to kick the ball. That's insane.
00:06:44
Zak
And like you, I think you made the point of like, yeah, maybe it was a little bit like he just expected them to know a bit more, but I also don't even know if it's that it could literally just be the opposite where Tom was like, you all know how to play football.
00:06:58
Zak
I'm to you how to suck eggs, but I am expect you to work hard every game.
00:07:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
And
00:07:03
Zak
It's just, it's so, it's fascinating to try and analyze where the big switch up is. And I don't know you did a good job explaining it tactically, but I just feel like there's got to be something so much more than than tactically because of the, I guess, the belief and I guess the drive from all of them do a little bit better.
00:07:21
Zak
It probably does help that there is a more, stable squad, which we're going to get to a point of concern off the back of that, right? But yeah, I just, I can't quite understand it, but I'm just really, really enjoying it, mate.
00:07:35
Zak
That's where I'm at.
00:07:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's good and long may it continue. And I mean, let's let's get into our thoughts about whether it will continue and what, based on our current position, our ambitions may be.
00:07:39
Zak
Mm-hmm.
00:07:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
And some shortcomings that might be coming in our way sooner rather than later. But first, let's have a little break and a message from our partners at Bionique.
00:08:36
Global Sports Podcast Network
Okay, mate, and we are back. So currently at time of recording as it stands with games literally in play, we are eighth in the table.
00:08:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
He says refreshing frantically. Ninth.
00:08:53
Zak
Well,
00:08:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
Ninth in the table. So, I mean, look, bearing in mind before a ball was kicked this week, we were down in 13th.
00:09:04
Global Sports Podcast Network
is that second place target that you particularly want to dodge the playoffs? Is that is that a realistic achievement, do you think?
00:09:11
Zak
at the moment, we have the joint second most goals for, right? Coventry are absolutely flying and I feel like unless they catastrophically hit a load of buttons to go wrong, they'll probably remain there. Like, they've had a loss and a draw in their last two games, so potentially things could change. But I see them, hopefully, for their fans, sticking with it.
00:09:36
Zak
But for us, I think that, you know, that shows you the turnaround we've had. it But if we can continue this run of form, we should really be aiming to carry ourselves further and further up the table, right?
00:09:48
Zak
Because... Like, yeah, we just, there's no reason for us not to. and but from a personal perspective, a selfish perspective, Greg, really, really want to avoid the playoffs because I know it's fun.
00:10:02
Zak
It's a good way to go up, but i just don't know if I can deal with that again. Maybe. Who knows? I guess we'll have to see.
00:10:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
with the additionals with the additional stress this time of trying to get content out about it as well. It's a purely selfish perspective.
00:10:17
Zak
oh they i didn't even To be honest, I didn't even think about how stressful that will be as well. Yeah, no, you're right. yeah just I'd rather avoid it where possible, but I just worry that the and the early season has really harmed our ability to get what we want to be.
00:10:35
Zak
Right, and I know that you said there's loads time to turn around, loads time to turn around, loads time for Willis to turn around, but very much got to a point where it was like, this has been too much time to expect him to turn it around. And obviously they finally made the decision, and so far so good, but if it wasn't for the fact we'd had this remarkable run of form, we would be kind of expecting mid-table right now.
00:10:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
this is this is the right time to have that run of form though right with all of the games coming so fast momentum is as important as as just about anything else right losing and winning both become habits yeah
00:11:01
Zak
Probably. Probably, because we've got such a jam-packed schedule. We've got such a jam-packed schedule, and yeah, it's not it's not a problem. And they're going to be flying and running off of confidence, right? And, you know, okay, we lost to Millwall, but it wasn't like it was the most desirable loss of all time. seen a lot of sort of memes that, you know, second-tier podcasts all of a sudden really like us now, Greg.
00:11:23
Zak
but but Now we're able to just produce content for them that isn't just misery.
00:11:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
crazy. Hmm.
00:11:28
Zak
seem to They seem to have taken an affinity to little old Southampton. but But part of that was everyone reminding in the in the comments that, of course, Millwall did beat us, but it's not like it was a really, really bad loss and hopefully they've learned a lot from it.
00:11:43
Zak
So, yeah, you're right. Like, with the the amount of games we've got at the moment, it' it's going to be really important to capitalise on that momentum. I just hope that that is going to be enough, right? That's the problem, because it's going to start to get tighter up the top, I think, as also teams are coming in to a little bit of a run of form themselves.
00:12:05
Zak
And yeah know there's a couple of the teams at the top you' have expected to kind of shift and move down a little bit, and they aren't. They aren kind of stay in there. So, you know, Midwall was probably one of them initially. the beginning of the season, I didn't have them rated as high.
00:12:18
Zak
I thought, you know, Leicester and Ipswich would a bit better, Ipswich are kind of where to be expected. Holla going from you just win-loss, win-loss, win-loss, win-loss. So it's very much... but Looking at like who is in contention against stuff, if we can carry this on, it will be fine.
00:12:34
Zak
i just worry about whether or not we are able to carry it on. And this entirely relies on as well, Middlesbrough and Coventry dropping form, which they haven't seen to thus much this season, right?
00:12:45
Zak
So, things are roundabouts.
00:12:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
It makes for an interesting chase to see if we can sort of make it down that path and get there to to bring in.
00:12:52
Zak
Mm-hmm.
00:12:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
But it's, yeah, I mean, I think we've got a good chance. I mean, you think about how many games we've got left in December alone, right? And we've got, what, Norwich at the weekend, Coventry after, and then we head into, you know, the chaos of the Grimbo Limbo where nobody knows what day is. So, you know, if we somehow win, you know, even if you write Coventry off and chalk it up as, you know, too good to be true, you know, we win five of those next six and all of a sudden we're just, like,
00:13:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
right on Middlesbrough's tail, presumably.
00:13:31
Zak
Yeah, for sure.
00:13:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's crazy.
00:13:32
Zak
It's just, it it's it's it's keeping the momentum.
00:13:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
one i mean you know It's only three a turnover.
00:13:37
Zak
It's entirely keeping the momentum and theoretically out of the next four, we should probably be winning the winning at least three. Norwich, you know, yeah okay, be wary if the new manager bounced, but it's Norwich.
00:13:48
Zak
Oxford again, another one that, you know, you can see them both as banana skins. Birmingham, we've played so recently, we're going to know how to play against them. However, if they capitalise on more of their chances than they had last game.
00:13:59
Zak
We're going to be in trouble a little bit. Coventry is the only big question mark. then afterwards, we heading against Millwall as well, who we've obviously played quite again recently, although it'd be different kettle of fish, them coming to St Mary's than us having to go to Dell, right?
00:14:12
Zak
Like that's half of, I think, their form is the ability to capitalise on that home form.
00:14:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:14:17
Zak
So, yeah, it's going to be, you're right, I think it's it's going to entirely come down to momentum. and and the ability to capitalize on that. And I'm just hoping we have the ability to do it.
00:14:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:14:28
Zak
like we It's all the right signals, right?
00:14:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:14:33
Zak
It's all green lights. It's all everything at the moment so far is is good. It's just making sure if we can cut out the silly little things as well and just make it perfection, then yeah. But...
00:14:44
Zak
think
00:14:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
Right, mate. Let's talk about one of those things that might cause us issues. But first, let's have a little break and hear a message from our partners at Zencaster. Here at the Global Sports Podcast Network, we spent a lot of time selecting our delivery platform, and Zencaster came out the clear winner.
00:15:02
Global Sports Podcast Network

00:15:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
All alright right, mate, and we are back. So, look, we've got talk about it. If Tom Fellows is injured for Saturday, how much trouble are we in?
00:15:29
Zak
is It's difficult, right? Because I don't think it's as disastrous as Sienza. But also, at the moment, you're telling us that both of our quote-unquote right-backs are out.
00:15:39
Zak
We don't really play a right-back at this point. So Fraser's going to come in Fraser hasn't done terrible, but I think you summed up perfectly the other day, which is he's not Tom Fellows. And like he was you know a remarkable...
00:15:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:15:54
Zak
surprised at the beginning of the season because of how well he played in what the time was a team that wasn't playing great. But now we've really found the formation and the the team together that works. So it is going to feel like he's playing second fiddle and whether or not he has 90 minutes in him is a big question. Hopefully, i think of all the players that has proven us wrong in the past, it has been Ryan and Fraser. yeah,
00:16:17
Zak
with any luck, it won't be as much of a problem. But at time of recording, we don't know yet. We're not going to know even in our preview because they've now... Tonda's got this wonderful habit now of wanting to press conferences on a Friday, which is really, really problematic for us.
00:16:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
Makes hard drop hard. Yeah.
00:16:32
Zak
So it makes our job a lot worse than it needs to... A lot harder than it needs to be because a lot of it's just got guesswork. But, you know, if it if he is injured...
00:16:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
i think I think my biggest concern, right, is that I agree that you know you can look at stats and numbers and you could argue that three assists makes him like the easiest to not be in the front four. But actually what he brings with the consistency is the ability to attack up both sides, which keeps the other team guessing.
00:17:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
Whereas you bring Fraser in, who's not going to be as used to playing with the others. You know, we've got our best consistent build up and the understanding of, you know, Azaz and Armstrong and and Fellows and Sienza, where they all sort of just know where each other are going to be most of the time now.
00:17:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
and And so then you end up in a situation where most of the play goes up the left through Sienza. And then, you know, that becomes a bit predictable and sure, Leo's that string of quality. But then you also open yourself up to the risk of Norwich finding themselves in a position where the only way they manage to stop Leo is just kicking him down.
00:17:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
And then potentially by the end of the game, you find yourself without Fellows or Sienza. And then then we're in for a completely different looking Coventry game, right? like it's
00:17:49
Zak
Do you think it's definitely going to be a Fraser that replaces Fellows if Flaher is out then?
00:17:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
a worry.
00:17:55
Zak
Or do you think it could be somebody else?
00:17:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
I just, I don't see who else we can bring in unless, unless like a doze, he's ready to go and step up all of a sudden, but we've not even seen him on the bench. Right.
00:18:07
Zak
so I'm relatively sure he plays more on the left than the right, and that would be a bit of a but a That would be be a lot of responsibility.
00:18:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
Exactly. Yeah.
00:18:14
Zak
You don't think that he'd bring in any of the youth then, or anybody that he's got his eye on?
00:18:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't know because aren't all of the youth that are sort of moving up these central midfield areas? I don't but don't know if we have any particularly strong wingers or wingbacks. I mean, I i don't know. maybe i mean Maybe it's an opportunity to play something like Armstrong more out on the right where he had success previously. and So you wouldn't think it would hamper his game and and play you know young Nick up front.
00:18:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
Or maybe Archer swaps in as well because you know he's come on and and shown running ability.
00:18:48
Zak
potentially.
00:18:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
So, yeah.
00:18:54
Zak
I just don't think we're going to be defensive about it. Like, I don't think we're going to go suddenly four the back or anything like that.
00:18:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. Yeah.
00:19:00
Zak
So...
00:19:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
No, as' say it's going to be an attacking change. But but like we said in in all of the episodes post the game this week, without that front four on the pitch, you know even after substitutes, we look worse for it.
00:19:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
So...
00:19:15
Zak
name
00:19:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
It is a concern.
00:19:18
Zak
It is worrying to me that we still have a quote-unquote bloated squad, and yet somehow squad depth is a problem.
00:19:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:28
Zak
And it feels like it's been that way for, what, like four windows? Like, yeah, with any luck, again, we might see some movement in January in that regards, but I just hope that we we get to the press conference on Friday and the entirety of this conversation has been a moot point and he's all right.
00:19:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:43
Zak
But you said it yourself as well.
00:19:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:44
Zak
Like, it's a lot of games. They're thick and fast. It's a very short period of time. It will be a real test to try and deal with a game without it. I just don't like the fact that the one game we were without Cienzo was the one game we actually lost in recent memory.
00:19:56
Zak
So...
00:19:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:57
Zak
We'll just have to wait and see.
00:19:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. And, and, you know, it's, it's easy to wipe that out though. was like, Oh, that was the game we lost, but also like we gave it a good go and we'd lost to a 96 minute goal. So it's not like we were like completely out of the equation just because we didn't have Leo. We did look worse for it by no strict, you know, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't like we were, you know, completely out of our depth. So it I'm sure I've got the faith that we'll make it work either way. I just, uh,
00:20:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
I hope we don't have to you know test it and find out, to be honest.
00:20:31
Zak
Yeah.
00:20:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
Speaking of January, one last thing I've seen, mate, to maybe take us out is... I don't know if you saw this, but it's come out that Southampton are planning to sell a Rebo in January for as little £1.5 million.
00:20:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
say
00:20:47
Zak
Yeah, i I've seen sort of rumours.
00:20:50
Zak
I don't know for how much that's an official source because I saw there being, there was like a list put together, quite from where it was from, but like a list together of potential players that could be out the door in January.
00:21:01
Zak
And he was on that list for potentially that much. But we discussed it yesterday.
00:21:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, that is from it's from a Nigerian newspaper. So, all the interest of them, because the...
00:21:09
Zak
I mean, i wouldn't be surprised. they They would probably be the first people to know, considering that's, you know.
00:21:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:21:14
Zak
But yeah it wouldn't really surprise me. Like, he's not really showed much of an interest in staying. We've heard absolutely nothing about it. It's not like he's come out and said anything.
00:21:26
Zak
You know, for me, it's very much a point of, like, thank you for the memories. I kind of feel like at the moment, if anything, his substitution appearance is a tarnishing thing. what is good memories of Uribe because, you know he was the only one that really did a lot last season.
00:21:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
Very much so. Very much so. like I mean, you you audibly hear the difference in him getting brought on now from and the reaction from the fans because before it was all singing his songs because everyone loves his songs and everyone loves Eribo to, I mean, I'm pretty sure I had a smattering of boos when he came on yesterday, which is not
00:22:01
Zak
Not a fan of that, but also i can understand why.
00:22:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
not great look no i'm not either but
00:22:04
Zak
Because, like, you know, again, I think it just shows you how fickle we all are as well, because that was like, why are we leaving him on the bench for so long? And then we played him a bunch of games in a row and everyone's like, why is he not not on the bench?
00:22:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah well that's why
00:22:19
Zak
but
00:22:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:22:21
Zak
So... Yeah, it's just it's a sad state of affairs. And I think that's just, you know, i clearly obviously thought he was going to move on in summer and didn't. and And clearly he's tried to work his way back into the squad and has got back into the squad in some capacity.
00:22:36
Zak
But it is kind of baffling to me that we're persisting with a player who doesn't really seem to want to be here. Like, it's going to come out now that he ends up res re-signing a contract in January or something insane. And then we just need to sort of go back to...
00:22:50
Zak
no Not supporting him, but just recognising that there are problems at the moment with his form of the Pietrione.
00:22:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
I mean, the cynic inside me, Zach, wants to say that maybe the reason he's getting any minutes on the pitch at all are almost like a, hey, he's still here and a player that can play. Come and buy him, please.
00:23:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
More than, like, actually for the good of the team.
00:23:11
Zak
i I don't know.
00:23:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
I would sure explain it.
00:23:15
Zak
and That's a little bit too cynical for me, even me, mate, but... but then he'd With any luck, he'll do something wild, like come on and score. That would be nice.
00:23:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
That would be nice. I would enjoy that very much.
00:23:25
Zak
We know we know he's got goal in him. That's the problem, right? you know
00:23:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:23:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
Problem is we're just not playing him a centre-back.
00:23:29
Zak
maybe Again, maybe I'm giving too much leeway.
00:23:32
Zak
yeah You're right. We are not playing him at centre-back, his preferred position. but That is why he is a struggle-bussing. Maybe that's why. Maybe playing him in so many positions last year has made him forget what he actually is meant to do on the pitch.
00:23:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. I mean, that playing under a combination of Russell Martin and even Urich has shown that effect on other players. So...
00:23:54
Zak
even Juric who, uh, I had a look at Atalanta yesterday because Atalanta played in the Champions League and they won. They actually beat Chelsea, uh, 2-1.
00:24:07
Zak
And from what I can tell, because it was Lukman that had that bust up with Juric before he left, right?
00:24:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
All right, mate.
00:24:14
Zak
but I, I do not see Suleyman on that bench. I don't know if he's out injured again, potentially, but, Man, that's a one strange situation.
00:24:25
Zak
Either way, I wish both of them the best.
00:24:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, look.
00:24:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
all right right well look that That brings us nicely to a close. It's all we've got time for today. Thank you, as always, for joining me. and Thank you, everyone, for listening.
00:24:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Look, let us know in the comments or on the socials, if Tom Fellows is injured, what would your plan B be? be Because, you know, maybe Tonda can use it as inspiration.
00:24:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
We know he's got an eye for detail. I'm sure that he wouldn't welcome any any ideas. So let us know.
00:25:01
Zak
Mate, I'm not going to lie, bud. I genuinely think that part of the reason we've still failed is because he listened to our ideas.
00:25:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
you might well be right.
00:25:10
Zak
Look, put it for this way. i If I am anything, if self-aware. but
00:25:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
You might well be right. But anyway, uh, let us know, in the comments on the socials, we're on all of them. We are GSPN Southampton.
