Milan's Dominance Over Tottenham

Fantastic performance from Milan. Fully deserved. They should have won by two or three last night. You know, if you see Tottenham only had one real chance in 180 minutes, that was a 90 second minute header from Harry Kane. And that just shows you the difference between the two teams.

We're fantastic. Tomori, brilliant. Tiau, Kalulu, Manon, for me, he's the best goalkeeper in the world now together with Courtois. And Tonali was back to his best. Brahim Diaz was great. Teo Hernandez, monster in both legs. It's fantastic, fantastic achievement from Milan.

Italian Teams in Champions League

And it's great for Serie A as well, you know, with Inter and Napoli in good positions as well in their ties next week, you know, there is the real chance that Italy can have three teams in the quarter finals of the Champions League and that would be amazing.

Conte's Champions League Struggles

Antonio Conte de Nima, his record in the Champions League in his career is absolutely horrific. It's dreadful. There's no doubt about that. I mean, he's coached Uwe, Chelsea, Inter and Spurs in the Champions League, 41 games, 15 wins, 14 draws, 13 losses.

three group stage exits, two last 16 exits and one quarterfinal exit. That's just not good enough for someone who has won league titles the way that he does and the way that tactically I think and you would agree with me, I think most would agree that he's a tactical genius.

But this is the problem he has. The only time he succeeded in Europe was the Covid season when he got the Inter to the final of the Europa League after the Serie A was played. And that's, I think, where the problem is. He cannot compete when there's three games a week. When there's one game a week and he's got one thing to concentrate on, he's almost unbeatable. But when there's more than one competition and more than one game a week, he simply cannot deliver. And that's simply unacceptable.
