vernonterrell: Hey, this is Vernon, and I thought I'd give you a quick update on where we are right now as we're starting our new ministry. the We've got our state of Georgia certificate of organization, yay.
vernonterrell: But now we're waiting on the county. You have to get the state and in Georgia, get the county license. and That's been applied for, all good, just waiting for the paperwork to get that done.
vernonterrell: And in the meantime, while we're waiting, We're building the website. We do have the exchange life counseling.org website up.
vernonterrell: And remember counseling, we're not going to advertise a lot of counseling. We're going to do it, but we're going to have limited clients. Our main focus is going to be on training.
vernonterrell: So the exchanged life center will focus first on training and building resources. And we'll also do some counseling. um that's kind of the order of how we're going to operate.
vernonterrell: But it's going well. We're just slowly getting everything up and running. The website will be up for Exchange Life Center. um Like really soon. it's It's really pretty much done.
vernonterrell: But we need to add a couple of things. And, you know, we have to wait on the business license and get um the account set up. um all the bank accounts you have to have, make sure those are separate and everything's good there.
vernonterrell: So a few things. And in the midst of all that, we're moving, my wife and I and my son and my brother-in-law, um we are looking to move ah further south, ah south of Atlanta.
vernonterrell: And um we believe we had an offer on our home and we believe that has been accepted. Waiting on the paperwork. This is live updates. Uh, and once we get that, then we're going to be in the process of moving as well as starting the, uh, the new, uh, venture.
vernonterrell: And of course we'll have to apply down in that county as we move. So, so much happening at once. Uh, so I just want to give you, just let you know what's going on. It's real deal, real life.
vernonterrell: Got a lot to do to this house. We want to get it ready, clean stuff out and, um, we've got We're also helping a gentleman. You can pray for my good friend, um Robert, as we're helping him move and downsize.
vernonterrell: So pray for him and to pray for this move. We're going to go over there today. and um We've got a charity donation ah truck from Coming Home Ministries that help men who struggle with addiction.
vernonterrell: Robert is graciously donating some of the furniture there. And so the truck's coming and we get, we're going to be there and just help direct things.
vernonterrell: So a lot going on. And then Michelle and I are flying out to Texas on next week to meet her biological daughter. Then we'll fly to Oklahoma, Oklahoma. Why keep saying Oklahoma?
vernonterrell: Sorry, Kat. Nebraska, Omaha, Nebraska, um and go spend some time with my, daughter, uh, Catherine and her husband, Bryce and see their place and just connect.
vernonterrell: So that's going to be fun. And then back here and scrambling to get our home ready and get everything done that we have to to move and make sure the change life centers up and running. We've already got clients, um, to be honest.
vernonterrell: And so we just want make sure everything's up and running and ready to go. uh, it's really, um, been a crazy journey but I just want to give you guys and a quick update and we'll get some more walking free actual scriptural and just some fun encouragement and interviews and devotional stuff and as well as updates so I hope this is helpful pray for us so that's why I'm reaching out pray for us pray for Robert pray for myself and Michelle and our family as we're looking to move and get everything everything going
