vernonterrell: Hey, this is Vernon Terrell, formally with Grace Ministries International. Yeah, I want to tell you what's been going on. So it's been a while, and after, what, starting in 2021, so four years with Grace Ministries International,
vernonterrell: I am now starting a brand new venture, and
vernonterrell: Grace Ministries, we had a brand new board that came on and they decided they wanted to go in a different direction. And that's okay. And so that means that i get to start a new venture.
vernonterrell: And my wife, Michelle, great just recently has also decided to step back from Grace Ministries International and we are together starting a brand new organization that is going to focus on Exchanged Life training.
vernonterrell: In fact, the organization is going to be called Exchanged Life Center and The focus will be on training. We will have some counseling as well and also other resources.
vernonterrell: So that's, it's been in the planning for a bit. I left Grace Ministries at the end of March and Michelle just this i other day, this is real time,
vernonterrell: ah ah She resigned as the director of training and her and I together are building a brand new organization. So we're excited about the opportunity and we don't want to throw any shade on Grace Ministries. We just pray everything goes well for them, but we know what the Lord's called us to do.
vernonterrell: And that's to continue ah ah sharing the message of God's grace. And, We already have the exchanged life counseling is up and running, that arm of it.
vernonterrell: And so we'll do we'll be doing limited counseling, but we still want to do that to focus on those who are hurting. But our primary focus is going to be on training. And we want to train counselors and train mentors.
vernonterrell: That's been desire, something on our heart for a long time. So that's what we're building. So that's coming very soon. And it will not be a nonprofit.
vernonterrell: It'll be a typical organization. So we're not going to be doing fundraising and all of that. We want to just get the message out there.
vernonterrell: And that's exciting, to tell you the truth. So we are starting this. We're already in the process of the business formation of the Exchanged Life Center and getting that formed.
vernonterrell: That should be any time now. Get all the paperwork. you know You have to go through all the legal paperwork to get that done. The branding, of course, we'll have some fun branding around the center.
vernonterrell: Can't wait to share that once it's finalized. And I'll make sure to post it and get it up there ready. We'll be starting a brand new Facebook page around that as well.
vernonterrell: And so I hope you'll stay tuned. Right now i'm going to continue or continue to pick up now the Walking Free a podcast. And I'll use that podcast. and We may change it. We may not. We don't know.
vernonterrell: But since i already have it there, i will be using the Walking Free podcast to give you the updates and some new resources. But yeah, there's been a lots a lot of stuff that's been going on since the end of last year.
vernonterrell: And it has culminated in us starting something brand new. And really, I say brand new, but it's not brand new because
vernonterrell: I've been doing this for the last, what, 30, 40 years. And really i had the ministry, that free and end ministry I had for over 25 years.
vernonterrell: Mike Quarles and I did the freedom from addiction webinars for 15 years together. And I miss Mike. He passed away, Mike and Julia. But I hope to actually take some of that information very rich material and edit it a little bit and get it back out there at no charge for folks to really benefit from those webinars and hearing Mike's voice again.
vernonterrell: So that's a project that we are gonna put on the whiteboard and of course the training It's going to be front center. So we're going to be focused on building content, building the training, the counselor training.
vernonterrell: We've got some seminary practicums that we want to make sure are ready for the seminary students who really need that real-life practical guidance as they're getting their master's in counseling.
vernonterrell: And again, all focused around the exchange life model. We've got some fun resources that we're pulling together. So a lot is coming. A lot is already built.
vernonterrell: And you'll see a webinar that's going to be launched in just a little bit that I believe you'll find helpful. I've honestly been debating on the focus of it because it is going to be around my book Stop Fighting, Start Living.
vernonterrell: And looking at different titles, and it's something that I was going to offer a little bit earlier, but it will be under the Exchanged Life Center, and it will be a webinar.
vernonterrell: I'm thinking it's going to be focused really for men, although the temptation model, it's universal, if you will. it applies to everyone. But don't hold me to it, but I think the focus is going to be on men to help them understand the framework and some of the specific strategies and get that conversation started.
vernonterrell: There may be a community, maybe a short-term, don't know yet, community that will be, again, focused for men to really understand and to work through this, the temptations that are just coming at us from every direction.
vernonterrell: So you can let me know what you think about that. We can, of course, have one for women as well. Sometimes, you know, when you talk about this idea of temptation, it's
vernonterrell: it I think it may be best to have it split by gender, men and women, because there are some uniqueness there and there's some, definitely some commonality.

vernonterrell: And we want this center to be available to train other you know folks who want to learn how to counsel as well as various different webinars and resources that folks can use to grow in their understanding of what we understand as the exchange life living in union with Jesus Christ because we are in union with him because of the cross and a lot just so much that we can build on that so again i just want to give you an update
vernonterrell: There's been so much going on and so much that we've processed through. and Michelle and I are very excited. We will do some some podcasts together and separately.
vernonterrell: And I hope that they will be useful in your journey as you're learning to walk free and experience him. So stay tuned, more to come.
