Speaker: Hello and welcome to Make Me A Museum. This podcast focuses on the realities of working in small museums in the UK. We'll be highlighting the challenges they face as well as the opportunities that might be available to them.
Speaker: We'll be examining best practice and learning how museums interpret and perhaps more importantly implement it. And at the heart of it all we'll be looking at the marginal gains, so these small changes that museums can make that will ultimately hopefully, make their museums better places to work and visit.
Speaker: The idea is that each episode will focus on a different area of practice within an individual museum, and we'll be looking at what small changes they've made to improve their practice, why they've made them, how they've implemented them, and what impact they've had.
Speaker: We're on the hunt for museums that maybe sometimes fall off the radar, but are doing some fantastic work. So if you work, volunteer or just know of a small museum doing some really great work, please get in touch.
