You don’t know what you don’t know and weddings can be like that. There are dozens of little unglamorous things that never make it onto a wedding mood board, but that couples end up wishing they had planned for.
This episode is a companion to episode 66, where I counted down 9 regrets I've either lived, read about or heard from my own couples. Well, there are more. 9 more, to be exact.
I’m going to take you from the moment you wake up on the morning of your wedding to when you first step into your reception space, with a few surprising stops in between.
You'll hear about a couple who changed the order of their day, and what it did for everything that came after. You'll find out why the people you love most can end up working at your wedding instead of celebrating it, and there's one thing almost everyone forgets to sort out for their photographer. It's the stuff that's easy to overlook, and easy to fix, if you know about it in time.
