Speaker: Hi, I'm Kristi Winfrey and I'm so excited you're here with me today.

Speaker: Welcome to the Not Just a Daydream podcast.

Speaker: daydreaming about the life you wish you had?

Speaker: Yeah, me too.

Speaker: Well, for many years, I felt stuck and I felt those dreams would only ever be just daydreams.

Speaker: Today, I now run a thriving six-figure virtual business that allows me to have the freedom to work and live from anywhere.

Speaker: I also teach others how to grow and operate a successful TC business of their very own.

Speaker: If you're looking for inspiration, motivation, and application, then this is the podcast for you.

Speaker: In here, we discuss business, dreams, goals, and everything in between.

Speaker: Welcome to the Not Just a Daydream podcast.

Speaker: Hey there, welcome to today's episode.

Speaker: Today is gonna be a short episode.

Speaker: It is Thanksgiving week, and I just wanted to talk about gratitude.

Speaker: Gratitude is so important, and it can really transform your life.

Speaker: And during the holiday seasons, we are usually always talking about how thankful we are for things, and Thanksgiving is definitely that season to be able to share with your loved ones and friends all the things that you're grateful for.

Speaker: So that's what I wanted to do with you today.

Speaker: Just wanted to share some of the things that I'm grateful for.

Speaker: And first I want to talk about how gratitude can truly transform your life.

Speaker: It is one of the things that I've cultivated as a...

Speaker: as a value in my team with my team and it's part of our team culture that every morning when we come in we quickly say something that we're grateful for and I think it's really it helps transform our day by putting something that is positive first before we do anything else.

Speaker: And so having an attitude of gratitude can do so many things for your life.

Speaker: One, it can boost positivity.

Speaker: It improves your relationships.

Speaker: It's hard to be angry and grateful at the same time.

Speaker: So if you truly focus on being grateful for something, it can truly help diffuse anger or maybe hurt things that are happening in your life.

Speaker: It also enhances your mental health.

Speaker: Sometimes you even have better physical health because if you are more grateful, you tend to take care of yourself a little bit better.

Speaker: Sometimes it can help boost your career success.

Speaker: I know I enjoy being around people who are positive.

Speaker: have a great positive outlook on life and who see the cup as half full versus half empty.

Speaker: And so that really can help boost your career if your boss or the people that you work with also feel the same.

Speaker: It enhances empathy and like we just talked about, it reduces aggression, improves self-esteem and increases your mental strength.

Speaker: So there's so many benefits of having an attitude of gratitude.

Speaker: And we, you know, like I said, we really express it during the Thanksgiving and the Christmas season.

Speaker: But I think it's important to have that mindset and cultivate an attitude of gratitude throughout your entire life.

Speaker: And just start each morning with thinking of maybe three to five things that you're grateful for and just be truly embody them and just think about how grateful you are for those things.

Speaker: So I first wanted to say that I am so grateful for you, the listeners.

Speaker: This podcast has been something that has been on.

Speaker: my vision board for quite some time for the past couple of years.

Speaker: And this year was the year that I finally made it come to fruition.

Speaker: And I've just been so, so grateful for the support that you've given me, the reviews, the love, the people that listen to it and tell me

Speaker: how they just love the episodes and, and tell me about how it might be changing or affecting their life.

Speaker: That is why I started the podcast is because I truly want to inspire others to go get out there and chase your dreams.

Speaker: You know, the world is your oyster, as they say, and you can truly have anything that you want in the world and become anybody you want if you just have the courage to pursue that.

Speaker: And I believe that with my whole heart.

Speaker: And so I just, I would just want to tell you, thank you for listening to this podcast and thank you for telling others about it.

Speaker: I recently hit over a thousand downloads now, and that's such a major milestone and accomplishment.

Speaker: So it was really surprising that, you know, I, one night I was at 800 downloads and then the next morning I was at it like 10 or a

Speaker: over a thousand.

Speaker: I'm a little over 1100 now.

Speaker: So, um, I just really appreciate that.

Speaker: And then something else I'm grateful for is my transaction coordination business.

Speaker: It's one of those things that, you know, I've talked about it before on the podcast where I spent most of my 20s and early 30s really unsure of the direction I wanted to go in life.

Speaker: And, you know, I felt like I was never going to get out of my nine to five, right?

Speaker: And I felt like I had been confined kind of by...

Speaker: the careers that I was in, but I felt like there was a bigger dream inside of me.

Speaker: And I didn't exactly know what direction to go, but I just kept following, you know, putting one step in front of the other and following where I thought God was leading me.

Speaker: And sure enough, the transaction coordination role was nothing I even had ever heard about or knew anything about, but becoming a real estate transaction coordinator was right up my alley.

Speaker: I was super detailed and, um, and gifted with like being able to see, uh, just being very organized and structured and, um,

Speaker: attention to detail and very much that administrative side of any business, you know, any role that I've been in, I've been, I've done very well at like the administrative side.

Speaker: And I didn't know that this kind of career existed, but I'm so grateful for my friend who introduced me to it.

Speaker: My world would, has never been the same since this career has, I

Speaker: given me the freedom that I was looking for and it allows me to work from home.

Speaker: It's provided such an amazing income that I've been able to do so many things in life that I never thought that I would be able to do.

Speaker: It allows me to travel while work.

Speaker: It really just has brought so much opportunity and I'm working in my gifted skill set and

Speaker: and it brings passion into my life.

Speaker: So for anybody who is maybe looking for a new career opportunity, who's wanting to leave their nine to five, maybe doesn't know exactly what they want to do.

Speaker: I do have a quiz on my website.

Speaker: It's christywinfrey.com forward slash TC quiz.

Speaker: You can go take that quiz and find out if you would make a stellar transaction coordinator.

Speaker: and then get on the path to becoming one and see how your world changes over this next year by pursuing that career opportunity.

Speaker: So can't say enough great things about finding my niche as a transaction coordinator, and I'm so grateful that I finally did.

Speaker: I'm also super grateful for my team.

Speaker: I have a team of six and so it's me and five others and my business would not be where it is without my team.

Speaker: They truly support me.

Speaker: They support the business.

Speaker: They want to see the business grow as much as I do.

Speaker: They take amazing care of our clients and they

Speaker: They just completely believe in our mission and vision and our values, the same as if they were the business owner.

Speaker: And so I'm so, so grateful for them.

Speaker: I'm also grateful for them just being there to support me.

Speaker: This year has been a great year, but it's been a very, very hard year too.

Speaker: And there's a country song and it says like, it's been a year and it talks about, you know, she's had her highest highs and her lowest lows.

Speaker: And I feel like that has been my year.

Speaker: You haven't heard from me on this podcast in probably a couple of months directly from me.

Speaker: It's been guest episodes.

Speaker: And the reason is, is because I lost my father unexpectedly at the end of September.

Speaker: And still hard to talk about that now.

Speaker: But I'm so grateful for my team.

Speaker: Because without them, I would have had to do so much on my own and been struggling through it and not truly been able to grieve like I needed to.

Speaker: And so...

Speaker: I'm super grateful for them because I, while I still had things that I still got things done during the past two months,

Speaker: having them and having their support has allowed me to step back and grieve and take some time to rest and do the things that I needed to do to heal from the unexpected loss of my dad.

Speaker: And I will forever be grateful for that.

Speaker: And I'm grateful for the 36 years that I got to call him my dad and the, the times that we got to spend together.

Speaker: And, um,

Speaker: so grateful for the friends and family that I have in my life and, um, you know, their support and their love and, um, just being able to, to truly have really great, strong relationships in my life that, you know, at the end of the day, that's truly what matters.

Speaker: Business, um, business is just a tool to build the life that you want, right?

Speaker: And the life that we want is to have, um,

Speaker: strong relationships and, um, and, you know, have the, have the things that we want in life and create experiences.

Speaker: And we want to create experiences with those that we love.

Speaker: So, um, business is absolutely wonderful and great.

Speaker: And I love being an entrepreneur and I love, um,

Speaker: I love doing all the things, building the projects, doing the things that I do.

Speaker: But when at the end of the day, like the whole purpose of creating this massive ecosystem is to create it with the ones that you love.

Speaker: And so I hope that you get to spend time enjoying your friends and family this Thanksgiving, this holiday, Christmas holiday and the new year's holiday and just truly,

Speaker: soak up every minute with them because it's so important.

Speaker: And, you know, having those memories and having the experiences, nothing can compare to being able to look back on the memories that you build with your loved ones.

Speaker: I'm also grateful for getting my TC course up and running this year.

Speaker: That was a big project and something that's been on my vision board for the past couple of years as well.

Speaker: And as we just talked about, I have the quiz on my website to find out if you'd make a stellar TC.

Speaker: Well, I also created a course, an online digital course

Speaker: that you can take to learn how to become a transaction coordinator.

Speaker: And it teaches you from the A to Z of how to set up a transaction coordination business, how to run it, how to run files.

Speaker: And there's nothing that's left out of it.

Speaker: You will know exactly how to set up your business and how to be an amazing transaction coordinator by the time you take this class.

Speaker: And it's a five week course or five module course.

Speaker: So you can get it knocked out.

Speaker: You have lifetime access to be able to access the course and go back and reference on it.

Speaker: There's so many great resources in it.

Speaker: And that was a massive, massive project.

Speaker: that I got finished.

Speaker: And now it's out for the world to, to be able to purchase and, and start a new career.

Speaker: Or maybe you are a transaction coordinator, but you want to elevate your skills.

Speaker: And this is a great course for you too.

Speaker: I built it in such a way that it is perfect, whether you are a brand new transaction coordinator getting into the business, or a transaction coordinator who's already been in the business, but you maybe want to enhance those skills and learn how to run

Speaker: more files with greater ease.

Speaker: So that way you can handle more files and make more money.

Speaker: So those are just a few things that I'm really grateful for this year.

Speaker: Like I said, I think it's a very important habit to cultivate of having an attitude of gratitude.

Speaker: And so those are the really big things on my list this year.

Speaker: But you know, each and every day, every morning, I'm just grateful to get up and then also grateful whenever the sun is out shining or when I get to walk my dogs and

Speaker: You know, the things that I listed are big items that I'm grateful for, but I think it's so important just to also focus on the little things that you're grateful for.

Speaker: What went right in your day today?

Speaker: You know, celebrate those little wins because those little wins turn into big wins.

Speaker: I hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving with your friends and family.

Speaker: Share what you're grateful for.

Speaker: And I would love to hear from you.

Speaker: Send me a DM on Instagram or leave a review on the podcast.

Speaker: Tell me the things that you're grateful for and how this podcast is helping.

Speaker: Hope you have a great week, friends.
