Busted Bracket
In this episode of Politically Uncorrect, Allen joins Michael for what was supposed to be a straightforward March Madness bracket episode… but things quickly go off the rails.
The conversation starts with the news of Zendaya and Tom Holland announcing their marriage, leading to Allen having to quite literally “talk through his pain” on air. That opens the door for Michael to pile on, sharing alleged details about the couple’s prenup and speculating on how things might play out long-term.
From there, the energy shifts as it becomes Michael’s turn to unpack something more personal — reacting to information shared by a former teammate about someone he once held in high regard. What follows is a mix of reflection, frustration, and the kind of raw honesty that only happens when the pod goes off-script.
After multiple side quests and detours, the guys eventually circle back to the actual reason for recording: filling out Michael’s NCAA Tournament bracket. Throughout the process, Michael makes it very clear that his college basketball knowledge might be… a little outdated, leading to questionable picks and even better commentary.
The episode wraps with Michael looking ahead to Saturday, as the Golden State Warriors head to Atlanta to face Jonathan Kuminga and the Hawks, in a matchup that suddenly carries a lot more emotion.
