So Inter beat Juventus in the semi -final of the Copa Italia to reach their second consecutive Copa Italia final after a game where Juventus were very, very poor and Juventus fans and pundits are very angry with Max Alegre Carlo.
Speaker: I would sack Allegri now, immediately. Bring in a caretaker to the end of the season who can just give them a little bit of a jolt, at least in the Europa League. What is the point of Allegri? What is the point of them? That they didn't create a single chance in this game. They are just incapable of creating chances under Allegri. Their form is abysmal. Three defeats and a draw in the last four games. One win in their last eight games. Events are completely plummeting. They're falling apart. If they're going to win the Europa League under Allegri, they're probably going to have to fluke it.
Speaker: And in this game, he played Kiesa as a lone striker. It's a case study of how to destroy an elite player, what Allegri has done to Kiesa in these two years. He's basically played him in every single position on the pitch, except for his actual position as a winger. Just hire anyone but Allegri till the end of this season, just a caretaker and do those. I'm sure they will do better than Allegri would do.
Speaker: Simoni and Zaghi for Inter though. I mean, he really is becoming a cup specialist, isn't he? Yeah, he is. He's reached eight, not counting this one. He's won six out of eight cup finals, two out of three Copa Italia's and one and and of course, four out of five Super Copas, which both times that he's lost, he's lost to Max Alegri.
Speaker: But now he has beaten Max Alegrizuva to reach another Copa Italia final after having retained the Super Copa trophy in Saudi Arabia against Mila. It's truly he is becoming a cup specialist and I mean the same thing in the Champions League. Three times he's coached and all three times he's gone through from the group stages. Now he's in the semi -final and could even reach the final.
