In this episode, we learn all about Zoe's (they/them; it/its) history with Xena. We also get to enjoy diving deeper into Hellenic Polytheism, Xena/Gabrielle/Ares, and the legacy of the show itself! Plus we're trying out video for the first time!

In Defense of Ares (And Polyshipping!)

It's our first special episode! Today I, a complete amateur, decided to take a look at some of my favorite Sappho fragments and ramble to my heart's content. It may not be coherent but I had fun and that's what matters. We'll be back with our normal Xenite conversations next time!

An Amateur's Analysis of Sappho

In today's episode, I talk to Girl4Music (Emma, she/her) who has been a Xenite since it first aired! We had a lot of fun discussing her first thoughts on the show, Xena as queer representation, what it's like to meet Lucy and Renee, psychic skills, failed fanfic ventures, and, most importantly, how you can find all of the answers to life's questions on her Tumblr. (Seriously go check it out @Girl4Music)

In today's episode we welcome our very first guest Mia (she/they)! We talk all about what it is like to be a young member of an old fandom. Huge thank you to Mia for coming on the pod and for being very gracious as we dealt with some technical difficulties. All part of learning a new skill!

Our Youngest Guest? Meet Mia!

I'm opening this podcast with an explanation of why I am doing this, my own history with Xena: Warrior Princess, and how this is all going to work. I'm a huge introvert and this was a very spontaneous decision for me so I really appreciate you giving this a chance! Thanks for listening! I hope you enjoy the conversations in store!
