Are you interested in taking on more leadership roles in your job? Do you want to become a leader in your clinic or department or hospital system? If becoming a leader is something you’re interested in taking on or looking forward to as a step in growing your career, this episode is for you!

My guest today is Stacey Becker, the Director of APPs at Endeavor Health in suburban Chicago. From working clinically in neurosurgery and oncology, Dr. Becker has now moved into operational leadership. She has held a variety of leadership positions in the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Associates. Dr. Becker shares how she moved from a clinical PA position into a leadership role.

In today’s episode, Dr. Becker explains the difference between clinical and operational leadership, how a doctoral degree affected her career, and how to create a pathway to leadership for yourself within your own organization. We also discuss one of my most favorite topics - work-life balance and giving yourself grace.

Press play to learn how you can break into leadership and start making a difference!
