We've all dreamed of being a rock star, right?
In this episode, Kristin speaks with Cathy Loughead and Steph Smith of the garage punk band, Velvet Crisis.
Cathy and Steph are self-described "normal" women... except they happen to be in their 60s and newly in a punk band. Thanks to Ruth Miller and her Unglamorous Music project, women like Cathy and Steph aren't "old women sitting at home watching TV" but "old women on stage".
Hear about how punk music has stopped them from being invisible and has allowed them to get LOUD.
