When Covid Lockdown squashed her fledgling business, a recruitment agency aimed at helping over fifties get back into the workplace, Stephanie Oram started writing.
The result, Wax, Whips and My Hairy Bits- An Erotic Comedy of Errors, written under pen name SJ Carmine, has been as high as number two on Amazon's best bestseller list, and has started a whole new chapter for Stephanie.
Stephanie talks with Kristin about how she, a "loud Northern nobody who swears a lot" turned to writing to ease her anxiety, the funny reason not all men like her book and why women aren't like they're portrayed in 50 Shades of Grey.
