Xempious and Blaze, what's happening, and everybody? um so this past weekend, there was some motorsports stuff going on, but a few of the quite a few of the events actually here in Ohio got rained out, unfortunately, for the weekend.
Tough Truck Highlights and Preparations

um But some highlights from the Tough Truck Racing event this past weekend at the Coshocton County summer race. There was a lot of good turnout, decent turnout and stuff. Um, couple of my buddies did pretty good. one of them ended up, two of them ended up actually being first and second and stuff. And then a good friend of mine ended up wrecking his brand new truck, uh, hit a concrete barrier and stuff. He's good truck, just some cosmetic damage and stuff and a couple of bent bars, but he'll be ready for, the tough truck racist coming Wednesday that, uh,

I'm actually participating in it our my own local fair and stuff. I got to got the opportunity to drive and everything else for somebody, and I'm going to take advantage of it and try to film when I'm not racing and everything else, the whole event.

Racing Postponements and Community Impact

Um, she's been raining on a lot of people's parades at races. There was, uh,

sprint car races and stuff, dirt track that was supposed to go on this past weekend at Wayne County Speedway, and unfortunately, it it got postponed and everything else, and

But it got postponed due to the ray Mother Nature. They got like one or two races in. They had like four or five classes. um Friday night, Millersburg actually got their whole race in for Hilltop.

Oh, I get it, buddy. It's working, man. it You got to you know, it the fun's later. That's the thing. you got to make money to have fun, but sometimes the, the making money and, uh, takes predestines to your life and everything else, but you also got to live and enjoy yourself. So I'm going to try to do that couple days this week and everything. Like I said, Wednesday night, your boy personally is getting back behind the wheel for racing tough trucks. So, it's going to be interesting. I haven't done that since 2009. Um,

Zempius, I actually i enjoy racing, and I worked at my local drag strip for a summer, and I'll tell you what. Some of those in the weekends working at one, I wish I never did. Just like turning wrenches on a car, buddy.

It burns you out really quick, man. Especially those long days and then getting right back up the next day and doing it again. I get where you're coming from. I've done it. so I'm speaking from experience too, bud.

But dirt track's a little... Dirt track racing, I haven't had the adventure of working at a dirt track, but I've done it to drag strip. Yeah, it can be... It can burn that hobby pretty damn quick, honestly. But I still enjoy it because I get see people I don't normally see and everything else catch up that I'm still pretty close with in the racing community. and But yeah, it's it's going to be interesting to see how the rest of summer plays out because it's coming up in and quick and there's quite a few things.

um There is also, i wanted to share it to everybody, possibility in August. I am actually going to help run in the event, basically help ah sign people up and flag races and stuff for a tough truck event at another fair.
Upcoming Tough Truck Event and Innovations

um I got asked to help with that. And it's going to be a neat experience because it's an my fellow racers that I'm friends with. Guy picks 10 of the best tough trucks in our area and stuff.

that gets to race during a monster truck show, well, your boy here gets to be the official starter in registration and work with them at the races that night. So, there won't be much filming unless I have, like, the wife or the one of the kids film for me and everything else. And that way I can share the experience on that, too.

um Maybe by then, here in a month, I could have a GoPro that I could set up. It'd be kind of cool to attach it to me and do the live thing there, too. But, We'll see what happens.

um I try to do that when I can, if I remember to do it, it's usually I record with my phone and everything. So eventually um want to have, get a nice, decent little video camera and shit so we can do the process, um, from what it started and to the finished product.

Same race, just a year apart and that he started with it and it ended. Didn't get to race anymore. But other than that, he's got a couple of opportunities possibly to lined up to be a wheel man. We'll see how things work out.

But yeah, on the motorsports side, I mean, like anything, rough trucks are busy and everything, all that stuff. So it's just one of those deals that it takes time, money and patience. And But it's fun when it's all said and done. I mean, I get it. It's like they always say.

Actually, we saved the whole drivetrain. Benji from his truck and everything else. That's what's going to go down in the in this Bronco. Is actually the motor and tranny and stuff. And we got a transfer case this time. So we got to get it. Drive shafts built for it. So.

But he'll have a four-wheel drive. It's going to be an LS Bronco and stuff. So, yeah, we got we were able to keep some stuff from it and everything, like the wheels, tires. But they ain't going work on the Bronco because the Colorado is a six lug.

He's got a bunch of buddies with Jeeps and stuff, and we're going to probably go do some trail riding around our local area, off-roading and stuff. Probably take you guys along for that on there, too.
