What Does Freedom Look Like To You?
What Does Freedom Look Like To You?

At the age of 7 years old, Mark Sowersby began to experience the nightmare created by the man that married his mother. It continued until he was 14. He was told by this man that he was no good. He was assaulted physically, sexually and emotionally. That became his reality. At the age of 15, Jesus became the reality that he had longed for. In his journey with Christ, he was led to the mountain of unforgiveness. At that point he had a choice: either conquer it in Christ, or let it conquer him. The mountain wasn't the first thing that he had to conquer. It started out by conquering the pebble, then a stone, and finally, when his faith was strong enough, the mountain. In his book, Forgiving the Nightmare, he shares his testimony of coming to the place where he could finally forgive the man who brought him so much pain and suffering. He now shares his testimony in order to reassure others that they are not alone and can also conquer the mountains in their lives.
