#172 From soil to skin: Entrepreneurship as part of nature with Ed Pycraft and Emilie Jaspers
Cofounders of Starseed, Ed & Emilie met in 2017 and fell in love. Both coming from high pressure city jobs, they face their own health issues including skin hives, premature ageing and rosacea breakouts. Their journey led to Kenya where they established an ethical value chain, combining their passion for skincare, regeneration and artisan circular design. A Star Seed was born.
We discuss the pros and cons of entrepreneurship together as a couple, not being a stranger to small failures, the connection between soil and skin, working with indigenous communities in Kenya and human rights, and new holistic definitions of success.
