00:01:57
Speaker

00:02:11
Speaker
And we're going to give you guys here a little later on in the stream. Me and Johnny are going to do our top dream events that we would like to attend. And I'm going to add a twist to it.
00:02:25
Speaker
um if you could compete in said events, which ones would you be your dream of that? So Johnny's going to be on the spot with this tonight, guys. So if any of you guys got any in the chatterbox, you want to throw out there what your dream motorsports events would be.
00:02:41
Speaker
You're more than welcome to throw them in there and I'll shout them out here on the stream as always. But yeah, other than that, that's been hotter than Hades here in fucking Ohio.
00:02:53
Speaker
We've been having index. Um, But still

Motorsport Passion and Personal Channel Content

00:02:58
Speaker
been plugging away on, uh, plugging away on the rough truck. Me and boys got it pretty much almost done. So I'll be having updates on that here soon too, on here and on the, my personal channel. So, um, if you guys are subscribed to it and everything else, just follow along um here here on the network and over on Pierce Motorsports and Reptiles.
00:03:22
Speaker
Um, you pretty much get, get a little different from each side. I go a little more in-depth over on my personal channel with my stuff over there when it comes to my motorsports side.
00:03:35
Speaker
Here we hang out, let everybody hang out and stuff, talk motorsports with everybody, and have guests come up here and share their stories like you guys have been supporting here this whole time.
00:03:49
Speaker
I'm still working on a few more guests to bring up and stuff. But tonight you get to see me and Johnny's. Sorry ass looking faces for the night.

Dream Motorsport Events and Nostalgia

00:03:58
Speaker
Hell yeah. Like you do any other Monday and Thursday night.
00:04:02
Speaker
So Johnny, we're going to start it off. Actually, I'm going to go ahead and we're going to hit it now and get it over with. Give give me and the audience couple of your dream events that you would like to attend and possibly ever be involved in. It don't matter. Racing, curling, whatever.
00:04:27
Speaker
give the fans and then let them know what your thing is. And by the way, Oh shit. or Well, thank you, Wally brother.
00:04:39
Speaker
I got a couple of them and well, they have to do with, as I've spoken in the past, the work that I've, me and my family have done with ah Fox motorsports and sponsorships in the past.
00:04:51
Speaker
Uh, you know, I'm really starting to see that they do a lot of work here around New York area. So, uh, Not to sound cliche, but I'd like to keep it local. Until at least I get more into it.
00:05:02
Speaker
Because I have plans for that someday. Shit. ah One such. Empire Super Sprints.
00:05:16
Speaker
Seems like they had some good turnouts there in the previous years.
00:05:23
Speaker
And not mistaken, started bringing dirt bikes to that event so i'd like to see how they handle it like see how it goes let me see here pardon me because i wrote a couple of these down so i'm kind of scrolling through them
00:05:46
Speaker
oh this one here was pretty interesting find 200 weekend i've never been up that way So it'd be nice to kind of see the new area, see what it's like up there, see what the event's like in itself.
00:05:59
Speaker
Shit, man. Meet some new people. Ah, this one I'm glad about. Grand Prix Festival Watkins Glen. Dude, I've been up to Watkins Glen many times. It is gorgeous up there. ah Yeah, I'd like see how racing goes up there, see how it's handled.
00:06:18
Speaker
Shit, that sounds like an absolutely beautiful place to do some dirt biking.
00:06:24
Speaker
year Oh, wow.

Bucket List Motocross and Motorsport Preferences

00:06:28
Speaker
And then this one here.
00:06:31
Speaker
Oh, my bad. That was for another sport that I was looking at. But as far as my motorsports, ah I don't know if it's exactly the number that we're looking to reach here.
00:06:45
Speaker
But those are the ones that really stand out to me.
00:06:50
Speaker
Uh, yeah, man, they hit close to home. Literally. Um, like I said, it'd be nice to go up some local areas and see what they got there for the racing scene. Bring back some nostalgia.
00:07:05
Speaker
Okay. So out of that bucket list though, of outside of your home list, that what would be one of the biggest motocross events that you would like to attend?
00:07:20
Speaker
or be attend and be part of if you had the opportunity indoor or outdoor man outside of new york now this i gotta i gotta see a little bit for because there was one that i went to a lot growing up and i can't remember the name of it would it happen to be buds creek in maryland
00:07:44
Speaker
it just might be yeah I remember you talking about that a few times. that That was another one that you'd like to go back to and spend time. It's been a while ago.
00:07:56
Speaker
oh But, yeah, man, that's, I mean, for you, and like I said, keep, you know, it's everybody's got their different cup of tea and stuff. And you grew up on the motocross side and dirt bikes and shit.
00:08:11
Speaker
Maybe you ah when you get the time you need to, besides motocross, get yourself into some flat track racing. I know they hold some of those up there in New York, too. so I'll look into it. Hell yeah.
00:08:22
Speaker
Yeah, there's that's something else, too. It's cool. They do dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads. Nice. Yeah, it's pretty it's it's different. it's Like I said, everybody's got their required taste on motorsports. Now that you mentioned it, into the Harley scene a lot growing up, too. My uncles really got me into that.
00:08:43
Speaker
I could see you doing an East Coast, West Coast trip. Oh, yeah. ki yeah It'd be fun. Well, on mine, my number one bucket list goal always and has been first motorsports passion was always truck and tractor pulling.

Young Talent in Motocross: Hayden Deegan

00:09:04
Speaker
I've always wanted to do myself personally have a pulling pulling vehicle. um Two venues that i that is on my bucket list to go to that I have not been to.
00:09:17
Speaker
And one of them's one of the largest pools in the country. Nice. And it's in my back and basically in my backyard. It's only a couple hours away, and that's Bowling Green, Ohio.
00:09:29
Speaker
I would love to go to it, not only be able to go to it, but it would be neat to be able to say I had something there that could do the pool.
00:09:42
Speaker
And then go to Wisconsin for the Superland Dairy Nationals. It is a grand national event up in Wisconsin that they hold. It's a big three-day or four-day ordeal that they do up there.
00:09:57
Speaker
um It's always a good time. but We'd love to go to that. Then, of course, what would be cool to do um for the rough truck side, dealing in that kind of motorsports, the off-road world,
00:10:15
Speaker
Mega Truck, Monster Truck, something like that along the lines. i mean I did knock off a bucket list last year that I did get to work on Monster Truck Show. so i mean that' That's one um one of the one of those checked off the list, which was a very very exciting time to do. Oh yeah, it was fun.
00:10:35
Speaker
Love the Monster Truck Show. Possibly getting to do it again this year. We'll see. but yeah it' Just stuff like that and involved That and keep the family involved in it too. so That's true.
00:10:51
Speaker
But it is one of those deals. That's what those are. um To get back on the motocross scene. Yeah. What do you think of Hayden Deegan's third second or third race on the 450s for the outdoors so far?
00:11:06
Speaker
the The kid I'm going to tell you now myself real quick. He's the real deal. i i I originally didn't jump on the hype train like everybody else. i was I'll be honest. I was a hater.
00:11:24
Speaker
Well, you didn't speak to yourself. Well, because I was a fan of his dad. And then here he comes in riding off a daddy's coattail from Metal Militia and stuff. You know, made his name.
00:11:35
Speaker
Brian made his name off of all that. but oh But no now that he's in the big boy class, of yeah, he's made me a believer. What's your take on it?
00:11:47
Speaker
Uh, I gotta say he's coming up through the ropes. Well, I look forward to seeing where he goes, brother. He's doing great things. I mean, help for his third grade third, second or third race. I mean, he already got a podium the third place finish.
00:12:01
Speaker
So, I mean, and that was right behind the jet brothers. I mean, the Lawrence brothers, I mean, and oh okay yeah so, I mean, he's, he's there. I think a couple more races by the end of the outdoor season.
00:12:14
Speaker
I think we'll see him either. and he'll He'll get a couple firsts in a couple seconds.

Eli Tomac's Career Reflection

00:12:18
Speaker
We'll see what happens. Oh, hell yeah.
00:12:23
Speaker
But, yeah, i think it's I think now personally after sitting back, yeah, I'm kind of pulling for him now to shut down the Australian boys, shut the brothers down, and literally prove everybody wrong.
00:12:38
Speaker
Well, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It goes beyond stereotype and name. Actually see what that person is worth and how well they do. Well, he's that typical, typical right there at that age range, cocky and arrogant, but the kid, the kid fucking backs it up though. I mean, look how well he dominated the two 50 class.
00:12:59
Speaker
I mean, the kid, I watched three or four races last year. He made a mistake, dropped back in the back of the pack, and then turned around either won the race or finished in the top three you know before the but um the future in his heat races and stuff.
00:13:17
Speaker
Even in the future race, he's done that. It's like โ€“ but, yeah, he's he's definitely the future. It's going to be between him and the Lawrence brothers for for for the years to come. sure But I think he can be at a dominant force in the 450 class.
00:13:37
Speaker
He definitely has potential going on for sure. Oh, yeah. He's got the work ethic for it. Oh, fuck yeah. Solid work ethic.

Injuries and Risks in Motorsports

00:13:48
Speaker
That and then the ne Eli Tomac, man. i think he needs to hang it up after this year. yeah the i love the guy to death, but dude, he's... These last couple wrecks he's had kind of hurt him.
00:14:03
Speaker
you it's like you just said, it's had a total on them you know? Everybody has their time in it, and then that time fades out, either dishonorably or honorably. Well, this is honorably.
00:14:15
Speaker
Well, I mean, he really don't have, I mean, he don't have the miles of championships, everything else, but he's accomplished so much in his career that, yes, the Supercross championship has eluded him the last two to three years due to injuries. I mean,
00:14:34
Speaker
And then then going to going into the outdoor race, I think it was first race of the year, went end over end and hurt his neck, and he hasn't raced since. So he's been recovering from that.
00:14:45
Speaker
That bear can play down the road even more on somebody. You should know that from your family racing motocross and seeing the gnarly wrecks you guys see. Yes, sir Oh, yeah.
00:15:00
Speaker
i can They can set you up for how your future is going to go. You think the doctor is clear. You think you're okay, but you're those, these guys are out here getting wide open throttle, getting walked around all the time.
00:15:13
Speaker
And that's just jerking on your spine and everything else. You already have a bra neck injury. It could, it could make it worse. Well, yeah, you know, it doesn't put you instantly in a grave at all, but that place shaves yours off.
00:15:28
Speaker
Oh yeah. Yeah. I give mad twodos mad kudos to people though that do that stuff. so i mean It's so one of the few motorsports you don't have a cage something enclosed around you when you do it. yeah that Let me correct myself. If it doesn't put you in a grave, then it definitely shuts yours off. oh yeah who Anything that's on two wheels. i mean i mean every day is Every day in racing, it don't matter two wheels, four wheels, water, or whatever.
00:15:59
Speaker
it's just a matter of time that something can happen and your career can be done.
00:16:07
Speaker
Faith unpredictable. Very unpredictable. But that's why we do it.

Passion and Retirement in Motorsport

00:16:13
Speaker
yeah it's just it's the It's the thrill, the excitement of the fans, the thrill for ourselves.
00:16:19
Speaker
well that we good Oh, yeah. It keeps you coming back, man. I mean, that's... But at the same time, you've got to know when to say enough's enough. it's It's that fine line between living out your fate to one of the most ambitious ways possible to, like you just said, knowing when to say enough.
00:16:39
Speaker
I mean, i'd love to be doing, keep doing what I'm going to be doing and everything else like Pat Pulley. Yeah. and seven
00:16:50
Speaker
Going to be 70 years old this year and still out there racing racing. Pro Stadium modified rough trucks. I mean, and he's still having fun doing it. I mean, that like I said before, that's a stable of age is just a number.
00:17:05
Speaker
Oh, yeah. So, I mean, it's it's one of those deals. It's just how passionate you are. And then you got to know, too, like I said before, when it's time to hang it up, it's time to hang it up.
00:17:18
Speaker
Yes. Well, you know, it's an honorable way of doing things. I've seen people in their career, let's say, by having a totally invalid invalid crash show, and then they are remembered for that, that, wow, you kind of went out on shit terms.
00:17:37
Speaker
Yeah, and see, that's the thing that that's the thing that I don't understand, which and that's in general. It's always the negative shit you're remembered for, not the positive stuff, especially in sports.
00:17:50
Speaker
Motorsports, sports in general. It's always a negative. That's like John Forrest being my favorite drag racer. Top fuel race, na nitro car, funny car.
00:18:02
Speaker
John Forrest, grew up with him. The last thing that man ever got to race was the last his last wreck, and that's what people remember him That's the first thing. Then they i remember his accomplishments, all the titles he's won, all the records he broke in his career.
00:18:19
Speaker
But it's always that wreck that put him out of the game.

Sports Culture and Athlete Legacies

00:18:23
Speaker
You know that. People like that, it is a very sad case because, you once again, they've lived the whole legacy up until what happened with that. Now, I'm more mean people that did either great or, you know, had their own fallbacks. But when it came time to hang it up, they were just shitty about it.
00:18:42
Speaker
Oh, yeah. yeah've seen I've seen it in multiple multiple things but i've also seen it where a lot of them come back and come back to do it well that's what i'm saying if you have every hope to come back and do it be optimistic don't be angry about the fact that it's finally time to end yeah i mean you could you go with them boxing and mma fighters i mean look at those guys they go on eight nine ten fight losing streaks but they continue they get released from one promotion
00:19:13
Speaker
But because that's all they know, so they keep doing it, and then and then it's the end. I mean, they again remember they get remembered for their losing streams. Well, yeah.
00:19:25
Speaker
It's just everywhere, Johnny. That's the thing. But motorsports is a different bird. Majority of the time, all you get remembered for is the worst times in motorsports.
00:19:39
Speaker
How bad the wrecks you had, how bad this and that, you know. Or you had one of your episodes where somebody blew up doing an interview and stuff. You're only remembered for that. You're not remembered for, oh, hey, this guy was on a thousand lap leading streak through so many races. Or this guy broke so many speed records. Or, you know, he's won so many races.
00:20:05
Speaker
Well, that's all I'm saying. is There's some people that. Oh, shit. Drew, good evening. How are you, Junior Burst, brother? ah People that had a great run, but when it came time for their last event, just completely cracked.
00:20:21
Speaker
Oh, yeah. Well, I've seen it come in the middle of the season before, man. Yeah. they It's just... they
00:20:31
Speaker
It's insane.
00:20:34
Speaker
I guess it goes by situation. If I see somebody that's really in their health, and i can justify with that. you know If I somebody who's just a bad sport altogether... That's a road course race in San

Community and Racing Season Updates

00:20:45
Speaker
Diego. That's awesome.
00:20:47
Speaker
Nice. That would be a good time. would have been better if it was in the later years, about 10 years ago, and NASCAR wanted to still work watching 10, 15 years ago.
00:21:02
Speaker
But still, that's awesome to get to go out there and see that in San Diego, man. That's cool as hell. Hell yeah, it is. That's a problem. But yeah, that's the thing is, you know, everybody's set in their ways. this is it's the It's what they know, what they're passionate about. you got meet near And it's just, it's hard for them to end it and stuff and go out on top.
00:21:27
Speaker
I guess I can understand that when it comes to truly being, you know, we all have something that we're passionate about when that falls to the cracks. Yeah, there's kind of that passion that takes over in the reaction.
00:21:37
Speaker
I can understand that. Right.
00:21:44
Speaker
Yeah, not only that, we'll get on now to different subjects. and sort and and Get away from the negative stuff. um Actually, here in Ohio, ah yeah, last weekend, we had the big IHRA Pro Polling League at Dragway 42, which is north of me.
00:22:04
Speaker
um They had eight classes. Each winter that night, it's one of the largest paydays for first place. They were paying $10,000 for first. Wow. It was neat because IHRA did the whole live stream for free on the IHRA channel, so anybody that couldn't make it could watch it for free, which I love that IHRA is doing that for all their events.
00:22:30
Speaker
Their stock car racing events, their powerboat racing events, drag racing events and the truck and tractor pulling events. So it's awesome. But the second day got rained out. So, but there was a lot of heavy, heavy hitters that I've been following for years.
00:22:51
Speaker
I'm actually here in my home state that made this pool and they'll be back. ah I think it's August. They're coming back to Ohio again.
00:23:04
Speaker
as part of this series. So Ohio got two of the biggest pulls during this series that's coming back. So yeah pretty it's pretty neat to see that stuff.
00:23:17
Speaker
And then i got race seasons right around the corner for me, me and the boy for rough trucks. ah All of our friends that's been on here, guests and everything now, no longer guests, they're friends. They're there. Their race season has been taking off for a while. So, and it's just continuing on this weekend with a lot of them. Um, our, our one friend Jackson that was on here, that the agitator, I seen a post. They finally got their, uh, got their parts to put their motor back this week. So they've been working on getting it back up and ready to go.
00:23:54
Speaker
Um, Brad Kovacs has been working on his mega trap, getting it ready. Um, Evan and them just finished up and Devin Scott and a bunch of the guys and Pat just had the mommy 45 anniversary this past weekend as well out there in Oklahoma.
00:24:15
Speaker
So it's so they've been everybody's been busy. Sean and all them. Josh and ah Josh. Little Phil's been killing it with his new business doing go golf carts and everything else. want to give him a shout out to also.
00:24:32
Speaker
Little Phil's dad debuted his mega truck. So his dad's got his mega truck up and going. do You can find them at his races and stuff.
00:24:46
Speaker
But, yeah, a lot of the guys that we've had on here has been having a pretty successful time. ay Evan debuted his new new new tough truck this past weekend.
00:24:57
Speaker
um First night, lost the front drive shaft. that So it was kind of the new new truck blues. But other than that, from what I've seen on the post and everything, I haven't got talk to him through Messenger.
00:25:12
Speaker
Seem to have a pretty good weekend after he got the bugs got that fixed and stuff. But, yeah, everybody seems to be doing pretty successful with everything going on right now that's been on the show racing and everything else. So, yeah.
00:25:29
Speaker
I'm happy for them. mean, it's good to see. like Like I said, mine starts up here.
00:25:37
Speaker
For me, fair season starts the end of the month. So the 29th is the first race.

Event Participation and Technology Integration

00:25:42
Speaker
Oh, yeah. But ah oh, and the other thing is a lot of the local guys, they went down to Kentucky last weekend too and there was, I think, eight guys in the modified tough trucks went down and raced for JR Roots.
00:25:59
Speaker
Full throttle promotions. They were down in Kentucky at Florence Speedway. They went down and put on a show down there. So they've got to run with the monster trucks as usual. And it was pretty neat to see some of the videos that was posted to the races.
00:26:13
Speaker
Oh, yeah.
00:26:17
Speaker
Yeah, I also found out, Johnny, New York's actually got come, I think it's in September. They've got the mega trucks coming up that way.
00:26:29
Speaker
They hold a race up there in New York. i'll get you I'll get you the place and everything else. I think it's pretty close to you, not too far, a couple hours away. I'll look into that. That sounds great.
00:26:41
Speaker
I'll get a hold of Brad because usually Brad goes to that race or yeah our little Phil and see where it's at and stuff. I'll send you the information in case it's in your neck of the woods, not too far away.
00:26:52
Speaker
magnet Maybe you can talk to your mom and sister and go in with you. the channel Yeah. but But yeah, it's going to be that time of the year, man. Everybody's full swing race season. Spring for you.
00:27:09
Speaker
Summer's here. yeah Oh, yeah. But there will be at least everybody four of the shows this race season Speedway Stories will be weather permitting and everything else if my phone works or whatever if i get something by then um we will be live for speedway stories at some of the tough truck events if on other nights that i race that we got other shows going on glick's got couple shitties uh there's couple races that are on a wednesday that's glick's comedy lounge um he's got guests coming on those shows during a couple of the races
00:27:53
Speaker
So I will be live on my personal YouTube channel that night on my personal sports and reptiles. And not only that, I will have the boy recording if he's not driving so we can bring it and share the following Monday or Thursday that we're not racing here on the network for everybody to

Social Media and Guest Appearances

00:28:14
Speaker
see.
00:28:14
Speaker
So that's the plans for the summer for doing the shows and everything. So you get a break from co-hosting. this yeah I've been having a blast with it I love it man like I said last week the last time we did this it was just us I put you on the spot and you handled it well and you did it again tonight it's been a great thing to have you on here I appreciate that i appreciate the opportunities yeah um car crews in here in Ohio um our friends from We Broke Garage has got one going on yeah next weekend
00:28:53
Speaker
It's brews and burgers. It's going to be in Gahanna, Ohio on the 20th from nine to three. So anybody that's from my area in Ohio and stuff that's close by has got some hot rods or whatever and wants to go hang out and stuff.
00:29:09
Speaker
It's on Father's Day. So it's a Father's Day cruise. Plus that same day when they're done, they're in Delaware, Ohio. They're doing their cruise night for Father's Day. So they're having a big car meet and everything in Delaware, Ohio, too.
00:29:24
Speaker
I figured I'd shout that out there for that. So.

Weekend Plans and Community Culture

00:29:27
Speaker
Yeah.
00:29:30
Speaker
But. There's. seen else
00:29:37
Speaker
There's quite a bit of a big races coming up. Next biggest race for some of our former guests is July 18th, which is also. My second race of the season will be on a Saturday. so that And it happens to be my birthday weekend that we're going hopefully going racing.
00:30:01
Speaker
Johnny, we need to get you get you over here and get you in one. Hell yeah. <unk> it Start saving your pennies for a plane ticket.
00:30:13
Speaker
Okay. Get it. I'd be driving for me, brother. I got all this hardware in the back my head. Doesn't do well in pressure. Well, then we'd have to. Well, how's this supposed to when he comes to Ohio is supposed to bring it?
00:30:25
Speaker
Yeah. We'll see. Yeah, you're supposed to come in July. Because he's supposed to be coming to see Mike. yes Yeah.
00:30:38
Speaker
But yeah, we'll see what's going on. Yeah. Yeah. um But also next week I will find out more information and I will share it on our social media platforms.
00:30:51
Speaker
I will have Morgan either Monday night or Thursday night coming back on the show um with some special guests again from Matt Motorsports to talk about the Mommy Oklahoma race and the Springfield, Missouri race that's coming up this weekend.
