Despite 16 penalties (!!) and a sluggish first half, Nebraska rolls Maryland, 48-23, to improve to 5-0 with CIGS coming to town

-The first quarter was nothing other than disastrous for Nebraska, as the opening drive was extended for the Terps by a running into

the kicker penalty which resulted in a field goal eventually; Maryland scored 4 separate times in the opening quarter, but thankfully

only one drive was a TD

-Somehow, someway, Nebraska led this game at halftime, 28-23, despite being overwhelmed in yardage…and then, the 2 nd half

featured a shutout by the defense and 21 points by the offense….how do we assess that game with the penalties and slow start?

Shoutout to Dwayne McDougle for his 81-yard pick-6 which changed the entire momentum of the game…
