zachary smith: I know it's kind of crazy, but hey, this is something new. It's something polished. Cause I was looking at the best podcast apps for this and this was highly recommended, um, just as a starting point because all the other ones are so expensive or just harder to use.
zachary smith: And this has a whole overlay at, oh, just in general.
Lex: yeah I like you.
zachary smith: Um, I do too. I do too. And we can have up to 12 people. So if we have like people that we want to have discussions with, we can have them on the podcast. um So this podcast today, um since we didn't upload one or even record one for a while, um some issues but but with Lex right here.
Lex: Sorry. the
zachary smith: but So we are going to be doing the review of not only two, since we but we were going to break it up in two different um episodes but that wasn't gonna happen so we're gonna put it into one episode and then we will have a follow -up episode of what theories because that's what at least we're gonna break them up or we could just record one long podcast that one's what do you feel
Lex: ah Honestly just go with the flow if you feel like you know starting a new one just to do a recap of it Then we'll do it, but I feel like it's just gonna be a one -and -done kind of thing ah Something like that something like that
zachary smith: one and done yeah we'll just what we'll just title it terrify your theories and review of movie one and two or something like that something something okay okay okay ah let me go ahead and get terrifier two up okay

zachary smith: so it's It's going to help. I was going to talk to you about this because this is something that we might want to look into to actually upgrade in the future.
Lex: Okay.
zachary smith: um But right now, I think this is perfectly fine because also, like I said, it helps us get it on any platform we want.
Lex: like
zachary smith: It'll also help us with um managing social media with it as well. But what I think is a big part of it.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: OK, so Carefire 2. Terrifier 1 was a build -up to the second one. Like I said, there was a two and there's two important characters if you were going to take any out of that movie. um One of them was obviously Art the Clown. And the other one, let me just pull her up one more time, of Victoria Hays. Victoria Hays was Art the Clown's last kill in the first movie, where he ripped off her face before he committed suicide.
zachary smith: and then you see her in a mental institution to start ah ah two start the third one, but the second one starts with, are the clown after you commit suicide? um And the rumors are that um the what happened in Terrifier 1 was within walking distance, or the tunnels are connected to the morgue. That's why he got there so quickly, and there was really no ambulance ride there. You at least don't see it.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: So the first death ah was the corner.
Lex: Oh, yeah. to
zachary smith: Yeah, and that was about three minutes into the movie ah where he he got choked out. um His throat slit, his eye plucked because for some reason, I don't know why, but they had him pluck his eyeball to try to put in his hit in his own eyeball.
zachary smith: But I don't remember in the first movie him shooting himself in the eye.
Lex: I don't either.
zachary smith: I remember him putting a gun in his mouth and pulling the trigger.
Lex: No. Yeah.
zachary smith: So I don't know where this eye came from because it was prominent at least a lot in the second movie. um And then right after he plucked his eyeball and you hear the coroner scream bloody freaking murder, he hit he pulverizes his head.
zachary smith: Corner dead.
Lex: Just rips it just rips into that shit like a new pair of shoes Yeah
zachary smith: so
zachary smith: Exactly. and And it was one of the most gory scenes ah to open a movie until Terrifier 3.
Lex: yeah doesn
zachary smith: ah still So after that, you see art the clown walk into a laundromat where it looks like he is going to be trying to clean, at least clean up.
zachary smith: So he it doesn't look like he's all bloody. um and he sees so And if you notice, right when he walks in, you see a guy sleeping.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And that's his second victim in this, where you don't see him actually killing him, but after he has the first confrontation with the little pale girl, they like calling her in this,
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: um which I think is crazy because obviously you can see his eyeballs gone, he's bleeding refusively, and then all of a sudden you see this little girl. And the first thing the little girl does is she laughs and then all of a sudden just blood just oozes out. It's like, what in the fuck just happened?
Lex: right like uh okay looks like you're good on your iron deficiency
zachary smith: Absolutely. And it wasn't an iron deficiency. You'll notice it was like clotting, like it was like, Oh, it was it was just you grotesque. like This is why they were telling a people that they would some people would rush out of the theater because of some of these deaths. So after art cleans his his ah suit, and you see him using a hanger to pull up a zipper on his clown suit.
zachary smith: he walks he it looks You could see him mopping up and then leaving. right When he's leaving, you see a spike through the dude's skull, the rest of the broom handle.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And it's just like a faucet going blood all over the place. It's insane. um And then you'll meet cnsage you Saash. Sienna, you meet her brother and her mom.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: And throughout the whole process, you learn and I'm going to kind of cut back and forth to what everything is happening because it's it's it's a very, very long movie. It's probably one of the longer horror movies to date.
zachary smith: um You see Sienna trying to make a costume that her father drew for her um and she's making it with real feathers.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And her brother asks um if she can help him.
zachary smith: And I'm going to cut um to this part because it's kind of a continuation because during dinner he wants, he told his mom he wanted to be the um the killer clown.
Lex: are Yeah.
zachary smith: Yeah. And she flips out at him. She helped him glue the the hat together and he said, I won't paint my face. um Then you see her go to sleep.
zachary smith: And this is where the crazy shit happens.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: So the first dream she had, um she has a dream of the clown cafe.
Lex: and
zachary smith: um Fun fact about the clown cafe, since we're also this is also a theory episode and also ah ah a Terrifier 3 review is the clown cafe, the person that's singing in the clown cafe is actually the nurse at the end of this movie. She's the nurse in the psych ward.
Lex: Oh, the one that gets murked?
zachary smith: Yes, same girl. And she's also the same girl if you ever listen to the song The Art of Dying. um It's by Ice Nine Kills and it's about Terrifier. She is also has a part in that song.
Lex: Oh, really?
zachary smith: yes so she just has a huge part of this so in the clown cafe um you see them singing the clown cafe song all jittery and they're like hey we got a we got a special guest we have art the clown and sienna's face goes pale like she doesn't know what to do at that point so She freaks out.
zachary smith: Art's giving presents to everybody, giving somebody popcorn, some caramel apple, some candy. And you can see the kids eating it. And on Sienna's end, you see them just ripping their mouths apart and everything.
zachary smith: But on the other end, they're just eating.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And then then Art the Clown gives her a special box. When she opens the box, it's a heart.
Lex: A beating heart at that.
zachary smith: ah meeting a heart. Then art goes to his bag, which I already predicted in the first episode, um, that weighs thousands of thousands of pounds because at this point art the clown is a demon because he didn't die in the first one and he came back in the second one.
zachary smith: So he pulls out a Tommy gun and starts going ham on everybody in that place.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: 14 different people died in that scene.
Lex: Right, let's talk about seeing that scene. That motherfucking let it rain like half these kids in the fucking school shootings. That shit was crazy.
zachary smith: oh Oh, absolutely. And obviously guys, we don't condone school shootings at all. um That's a problem in this country. Lex, don't even.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Lex is being twisted because that's how Lex is.
Lex: but Yeah.
zachary smith: But it's it's not, it's bad enough with all these school shootings, but this was not the craziest scene I've ever seen in Terrifier because one that we will review in Terrifier 3 is even nuttier.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: Which actually, I think Terrifier 3 completely rewritten horror because in the first one you see a girl getting sought from her vagina all the way down to her head and ripped apart.
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: like a chicken.
zachary smith: Rifted part! You wouldn't do that in any kind of horror movie. What in the fuck was that?
Lex: We got it worse than a turkey on Thanksgiving Day, y 'all. That was terrible.
zachary smith: it was terrible and andan so in the clown cafe so 14 people died by bullets right and then the singer that's also the nurse at the end of the movie instead of him killing her with the comic gun because he ran out of ammo he goes and gets a fucking flamethrower and lights this bitch on fire and the crazy thing is
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: It lights that bitch on fire.
zachary smith: She fucking stings during it. She's playing her to guitar when she's fucking on fire. So does it doesn't kill her instantly. It takes it at a minute to actually kill her. um And then you also see a one of the Patreons getting their hand cut off and ble bleeding out. And he's doing that with some crazy inventions. Because like I was saying, he has the most unique killing thing. He kills things with the most unique things, like we'll review in the third one.
zachary smith: It's insane.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: And in this one too, even in this one, towards the end of the movie, he uses a fucking chair leg or a table leg that has silverware attached to it. Like what in the fuck? It's not just knives, guys.
Lex: ah
zachary smith: It's not just knives. It's spoons and forks as well.
Lex: He thinks that's Fox.
zachary smith: its come
Lex: He does. I'll give him that.
zachary smith: yeah
Lex: Points it's for creativity.
zachary smith: Exactly, especially in this movie what we're gonna be reviewing and there's so many gory details in this movie It is insane. I guarantee a majority of their budget is for fake blood Absolutely, and it wasn't um it wasn't the only person he set on fire Also, there was another person she set on fire during it before he got to Santa and obviously when he tried to hit sienna She pulled out a sword
Lex: A hundred percent it has to be because of how much blood they fucking use in every fucking like every movie is crazy.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: The sword that's going to be very pivotal in both this movie and in Terrifier 3 and beyond, honestly, where she holds it and it burns and it kind of reminded me of an homage to Nightmare on Elm Street because when she did that it went out of her dream and it burned her room.
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: yeah It caught her room on fire.
zachary smith: it caught her room on fire. But there was one scene in this, in the clown cafe, we cannot, um we can't look past. The kid that was eating cereal, because how he died, he was eating broken glass.
Lex: Mm -hmm Yep Yeah From eating glass?
zachary smith: Tell me Lex, when in a movie history have you ever seen, cause you like horror just like me, when in any movie have you seen somebody That's a kid die. Just in general, like most of the time you don't see the kids actually physically die.
Lex: You just see them get hurt or they fall or they're scared. You don't really see them just brutally like mutilated at all.
zachary smith: Exactly. And this is why a lot of people think this is why a lot of people left the theaters during the second and third one.
Lex: and Because kids were actually getting brutally fucking hurt.
zachary smith: Yeah, he does not discriminate. he does he's not He does not give a fuck.
Lex: Nope, not at all.
zachary smith: And absolutely.
Lex: That's a demon for you. Hello.
zachary smith: And let's let's go back into it. So after she blocks the fire, her burn her room burns down. Her mom gets pissed off saying, oh, why the fuck did you um fall asleep with the candles burning? And they weren't burning.
zachary smith: um And I think this is where this is where the low budget hits because all three of them were running around with their head cut off And that's the only grave I have at this beginning of this movie because you're like guys it's a fucking fire throw something at it What are you doing?
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: i i think I think when she got the fire extinguisher and everything, she was just trying to find a logical like explanation just as to why the fire was. Because, you know, they they explain her story later on in the movie, but it's just... it this is why you guys ah like Listen, this is a message to all of you. This is why y 'all should listen to y 'all kids. Not every time are your kids go lying to you, we're making shit up.
zachary smith: No, and this is a very common trope or a common ah background of a horror movie, is the kids, just like in Nightmare on Elm Street, just like in a bunch of other movies where the kids warn the parents, hey, this is happening.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: But the parents are stupidew too stupid to realize that that's actually happening.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Honestly, I think that's a good reason because at the end of the day, if the kid if the adults caught on so quick, then they would have been stopped.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And it wouldn't have been a horror movie.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Fast forward, so there's a lot of filler because it's just telling the story of how Sienna and Jonathan and her their mom are. You see Sienna going to school.
zachary smith: You see Jonathan going to school. You see Jonathan actually having issues where he sees, where um during recess, um him and two other kids are behind a dumpster and find a, um what are they called?
Lex: That a possum?
zachary smith: Possum.
Lex: and
zachary smith: they a dead possum and they bring a girl over and they pull it open and their maggots everywhere.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Brutal! This is why I'm saying this is a brutal movie because you don't usually see dead animals like this.
Lex: Nope.
zachary smith: and it And the girl screams and the possum is is um important because after um Jonathan's having issues with this test, he asks to use the restroom.
zachary smith: He gets up and there's what all of us do when we were in high school. He gets up, he goes and has a drink out of the fountain and walks around as long as you can.
Lex: Yep. Yeah.
zachary smith: But then he sees the little girl, the little pale girl, runny. So he turns the corner and he sees Art the Clown and the little pale girl playing with the dead possum in the school hallway and then they throw the possum at him.
Lex: In the school fucking hallway. Yep. Scared him so bad he ran back to class. He was hyperventilating and shit.
zachary smith: Yeah, but he didn't run back to class what he did. He was running with the possum and when he saw a teacher told him to stop, he threw the possum at her.
Lex: Oh, that's right. He did. He did.
zachary smith: Did. And that was brutal because it made him get suspended. But it was kind of a weird suspension because you don't see them in school after this point.
Lex: Nope.
zachary smith: So after this point, you see Sienna talking to her friends and they're like, hey, are we still going to the Halloween party? I'll I'll drive so we can drink or whatever. And then she's like, I need to find another costume or go to the Halloween store because there was a fire.
Lex: And it burned her angel wings that she was trying to wear with her outfit.
zachary smith: Exactly. And this is where one of the most brutal deaths I think in this film happens.
Lex: Oh yeah.
zachary smith: Firstly, you see Sienna shopping for wings and her and her friend, Allie, sees Art the Clown in the Halloween store.
zachary smith: They get freaked out. It's a homage to the first movie of the piece of scene where both the girls are freaked out.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: One of them's talking or an Allie's talking to the Art the Clown.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: um And then you see um Sienna go upstairs to pay for the wings and her alley already left because her mom called her. um and you And this is where it's kind of funny because she's buying the wings, she forgot her purse downstairs because they were trying on costumes.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Art comes up and throws a purse at the dude, the bag.
Lex: so Yep.
zachary smith: And he gives him like a weird look and the dude's like, what the hell? And then Art goes to the sunglasses.
Lex: yeah Yeah, the sunglasses part was my favorite.
zachary smith: This is why I brought it up because that's also my favorite part. And also I have stickers. I don't even know where they are. Oh actually it's right here.
Lex: Oh, is that one of your favorite scenes? I know this is kind of off topic, but the reason why I said, is that one of your favorite? Like, okay, because that image is on your hoodie.
zachary smith: Is it really?
Lex: Yeah, it's part of the hoodie.
zachary smith: Oh shit!
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And I have another art that clown sticker. um And it's if you notice this one, this one is from the painting in the clown cafe.
Lex: Oh, it is off the... It's even on the side truck. The the truck...
zachary smith: It is.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: It is. um I got those at Hot Topic because up by me, there is a out of the mall Hot Topic.
Lex: Is there really?
zachary smith: Yes, it's huge.
Lex: Oh my god!
zachary smith: It's massive. Yeah. So when you come down here, I'll obviously take you to it because it's fucking cool. Like that whole entire area up the street for me is it's nice.
zachary smith: Like there's a bunch. It's it's like an outlet mall. There's like a theater. There's a bunch of places to eat. There's a hot topic, there's everything. And it's a rich part. So it's not any scummy stores.
zachary smith: It's fuck, it's nice.
Lex: Okay.
zachary smith: Anywho, then but after we see um him in the glasses, one of our favorite parts of the movie, cause he and it's not the glasses that have the red, it's the sunflower glasses.
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: um Then he comes up to the counter because Sienna gets scared and she just buys it and takes off.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And then we have Art the Clown talking to Rick the Shop Clerk, or Ricky.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And Ricky tells him, are you gonna buy anything? And Art is in his bag, and he gets scared. And you can tell Ricky gets scared. And then he pulls out a um a horn, the clown horns.
Lex: Yes, the clown horn.
zachary smith: And then he buys a clown horn, but As soon as he does, he reaches back into his bag and smashes Ricky with a bottle.
Lex: Yep, he did.
zachary smith: He fucks his shit up. Like, fucks him up. And then he stabs in the fucking eye!
Lex: Right, right in the cornea.
zachary smith: With scissors! but
zachary smith: Jesus Christ! And that's not the worst part. He's brutalizing him and then he squeamers him in the fucking head.
Lex: but That was crazy.
zachary smith: Blood going everywhere!
zachary smith: It was insane, and then he decapitates him for a specific reason. Because later in the scene, you see two people trying to do Last Man on Halloween shopping, but Art locks the door.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And the door was locked, and the kid's like, oh cool, look at that display. And you see Art the Clown holding Ricky's head, bloody head. But this is what this is why I like Terrifier and I also think it's really cheesy.
zachary smith: His head wasn't even damaged.
Lex: Nope.
zachary smith: There is no stab in the eye. There's no cleaver to the head. And this is a real, and I'm telling you this because later in the movie, he does the same thing, but different.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: So after this, you see Sienna go home and then her mom gets mad because she thinks she's going to be drinking because she's going with Ally and ah Brooke.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Her mom doesn't like Brooke um because Brooke is a bad influence.
Lex: but Yeah.
zachary smith: um so when ah she gets off she I believe, if I remember correctly, she's on the phone with Allie and then she gets off and Allie goes and checks the door for trick -or -treaters. She gives out candy to some trick -or -treaters, tell them to have a good, safe night, close the door, and when she was going back upstairs, she hears another ring and a knock, and there's Art the Clown.
Lex: Mm hmm.
zachary smith: and she's like oh you're too you're too big to be tragic trick -or -treating and she gets mad at him closes the door because she's free she's getting freaked out yes and she does on the first try it was on the second time she opened the door because she's like what do you want me to give you a candy she throws the candy at him and then she looks down into his back
Lex: Because she recognizes him from the Halloween store from earlier. Yep.
zachary smith: And that's where he, she sees all the rusty, all the rusty tools he uses. And then she looks up and he's giving her a grin.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Then she slams the door, goes upstairs. And this is where the craziness happens.
Lex: Mm -hmm.
zachary smith: This is by far one of the most gory scenes in movie history, I believe.
Lex: Oh, yeah. but Without a doubt.
zachary smith: it's It's hard to describe everything he does, but he completely rips her apart.
Lex: Mm -hmm.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: He rips her hand in two. He rips her scalp off.
Lex: He scalps her. He literally scalps her.
zachary smith: He scalps her. He cuts off her arm. He slashes her thousands of times. And when she's crawling, he rips her face off. And it's he's not done.
Lex: Nope.
zachary smith: You see him leave the room. And then she's she's about ready to grab the phone, because Sienna's calling.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: He comes back, dumps bleach on her, and then rubs salt all over her.
Lex: thank Nope.
zachary smith: You think she's dead?
Lex: She ate.
zachary smith: She ain't. Because about four minutes later, after Sienna couldn't get a hold of her friend, it cuts back to Allie's mom. Wondering why their glass is broken because the sliding glass door was broken So she runs upstairs to Ali's room because Ali is not answering her mother Then she sees her in bed with art the clown and art the clowns playing with her intestines And it's not censored it's not censored it's not Him like you see his hand in her stomach.
Lex: Nope. Yep, just playing with. Not.
zachary smith: It's he's literally like pulling up her as a fucking puppet and
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: and
zachary smith: And she's still bleeding.
Lex: Yeah, I think the most traumatic part out of that scene is when the mother walks into the room while he's playing with her intestines. All you can hear Ali say is, mom, like barely, barely.
zachary smith: Yep.
Lex: And the mom is just like locked on the whole scene, doesn't move, doesn't scream, doesn't anything. ah For a couple seconds, then she starts screaming, panicking.
zachary smith: absolutely and then as soon as that happens you don't see it but her mom gets decapitated because at the at the next scene you see hit um him answering the door giving candy to kids and the kids kids are like oh cool bucket oh this is all slimy he was giving kids candy out of Ali mom's decapitated head
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: He literally cut open her skull, scooped that shit out, added fucking candy to it, and used it as a trick -or -treat bowl.
zachary smith: Yeah, and it's not like it was... No, I guess it was full of candy because he doesn't put the the top of the head back together. He just throws it away. He like throws it to the side.
Lex: Yeah. Yeah.
zachary smith: um And honestly, this killing doesn't stop there. This is the nice thing about the movie towards this point is the killing ramps up quickly.
Lex: Yes, it does. It gets fast.
zachary smith: Because after this, you see Sienna going to the party.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And you see Sienna's mom, Barbara, trying to ask where Jonathan is because Jonathan got home. The school called and told his mom what he did.
zachary smith: He was playing with the possum.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: He threw it at her teacher. It was dead, blah, blah, blah, blah. So she grounds him. Well, see she then he runs up to his room. She's yelling. Then she goes out to check her.
zachary smith: I don't know why she went out of the car. I think she heard something. I don't know specifically.
Lex: yeah yeah I think you may have heard a noise.
zachary smith: and her car is trashed.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Shaving cream, eggs, toilet paper, and she thinks it's Jonathan.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: So she's trying she grabs a sponge, starts hit like cleaning the fender, goes to the driver's side window, wipes it, or the clown's there with a shotgun to the face, BAM!
Lex: yep
zachary smith: blown off and it was the most brutal because it's the it's the most realistic way because when it when you get hit with a shotgun in the head like that, that's what it looks like.
Lex: yeah that yeah that shit was gone that shit was a blip so yeah that that was personal i think that was very personal to be honest
zachary smith: It's not like you got a small gash in your head or like a slug where it just blows the outside of the other hand part of your head. Her head was not existed.
zachary smith: It was gone.
zachary smith: it was you It was very personal. um And then it cuts to Sienna with Brooke and Jeff, because Jeff is Brooke's boyfriend. And they're all at the school dance, and and then all of a sudden, Jonathan calls Sienna.
Lex: Yup.
zachary smith: and asked, hey, I'm in trouble, I'm at the at the carnival.
Lex: The old carnival.
zachary smith: And she's like, why what are you doing over there? she's ah He's like, help me, I'm in trouble, please. And it cuts to the scene where it's not Jonathan calling her, it is the little pale girl.
Lex: Amitating Jonathan's voice, trying to lure her there.
zachary smith: Yeah, the little pale girl's calling her. um Lex, did your audio go out?
Lex: No?
zachary smith: Oh, okay. um So in this, um
zachary smith: they're driving to the the carnival. They get out. She's like, go get Jonathan. We'll be here waiting. So you see Sienna going into the old clown ride.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And then you see Brooke and Jeff making out and then Jeff wants to do more. He's like, I gotta pee. She's like, okay.
Lex: Wait, wait, before we get to this, let me point out what Jeff is wearing. He's wearing a Halloween shirt that says just the tip, okay guys? So before we get more into this scene, that you guys can understand that. He's wearing a shirt that says just the tip. Continue on, Zach.
zachary smith: yes he Yes, yes, yes. And it's funny because this is the second, and we'll review it in the third one. so in a little bit but this second dude that was trying to get some action or in the moment of action where he gets fucking brutalized because what happens to him he gets stabbed in the just once he continuously I'm pretty sure like 10 or 15 times in the dick
Lex: yeah
Lex: Yeah. yeah
Lex: He can't literally - he finished his pissing and all you have to see is Art the Clown just stabbing him right in the dick. Just - ye

zachary smith: You thought that was brutal. Then you see Brooke running through the the the the um clown ride. For some reason, the clown ride had a fucking bathroom.
Lex: Yeah, that was weird. That was awful.
zachary smith: That was weird.
Lex: I was like, who?
zachary smith: So she runs into the bathroom because Art's chasing her. and she's yelling oh my god no please don't don't and he he basically has his hands behind his back and then a quick glimpse you see he has sulfuric acid or I think that's what it's called yeah so he gets close enough to her he opens the jar and splashes it all over her fucking face and then
Lex: Something like, it's acid that burn that melts through your skin to bone.
Lex: yep
zachary smith: He breaks her limbs, breaks her chest with a, like I was saying earlier in the podcast, with a fucking chair leg or a table leg that that was but had knives, spoons, and forks lodged into it.
Lex: but ah and
Lex: yep sheesh i remember that part i remember that but
zachary smith: but and yeah And at the end, to make it even more brutal after he breaks her chest, he pulls out her beaten beating heart and takes a bite out of it.
Lex: yeah that was oh thank thank you yes oh go ahead zach go ahead gotta
zachary smith: No worries, no worries. um So i'm go I'm going to cut to this.
Lex: love go ahead can
zachary smith: um So Sienna's dad, his name is Matt Michael Shaw, So in the film, or before the film, you learn that he, I don't know if you realized it, but he actually burned to death in a car crash.
Lex: Yes, yes, because it was explained in the movie how he he died.
zachary smith: Yeah. um And they believe it could have also been Art the Clown. But after Brooke's death, it was in a huge fight sequence between Jonathan Art the Clown and Sienna Shaw.
zachary smith: where Sienna and and and Jonathan are beating his ass, and then Sienna tries to stab him with the sword. Doesn't work, he throws her, basically chokes her out. She's almost dead. He throws her, um the set breaks, she goes into this hole.
zachary smith: and he's tormenting Jonathan.
zachary smith: Sienna is down in the hole and all of a sudden art pops up, stabs her with the sword in the stomach.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And then she falls into this portal. The portal is is um important because it also happens in the third movie, but to somebody else.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: She falls in this portal and she's about to die and she wakes up in the clown cafe in a tank of water.
Lex: Kind of like the tank of water you see like a magician would use to like shackle themselves to unshackle themselves underwater kind of thing to do like a magician kind of trick. But she's stuck in the tank itself. She can't get out.
zachary smith: Yeah, and you see her, she's trying to get out, but then this random tentacle comes up and grabs her leg.
Lex: Mm hmm.
zachary smith: And then you see her do the puppetations and then she looks like she's dead.
Lex: Like she drowned.
zachary smith: She drowned. Then it cuts up to Jonathan. He is slowly waking up because something is gnawing at his foot.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And Art the Clown is actively trying to eat his foot.
Lex: yep Yep. Nipple on it.
zachary smith: So he screams.
Lex: Dude.
zachary smith: Yeah, and he's so he's screaming, yelling for Siena, and as soon as he said his sister's name, Siena wakes up with a light in her stomach. It fuels the wound, and she gets her sword somehow and cuts the tentacle, and swims up to the top, and she's back where art the clown and her brother is.
zachary smith: Then she's attacking Art the Clown, stabs him, and chops at his throat because the for some reason the sword's not as dull but not sharp, keeps chopping at his head like it's a chainsaw, and decapitates Art the Clown.
Lex: Mm -hmm Yep,
zachary smith: Everybody thinks that's the end of Terrifier. And honestly, they could have stopped right there.
Lex: they could have
zachary smith: If they really wanted to, they did they could have. But then it cuts to Sienna and Jonathan leaving. And this is important because if they didn't leave at that point, the third one wouldn't exist because they're both going to therapy in the third one.
Lex: right yeah
zachary smith: Between the actions of the two and three, you see the you don't see them, but they do therapy. Jonathan goes to college. Sienna's in a mental hospital. um Cutting to the end of the film and where the credits of the second one runs, you see a mental hospital. And you see, I'm not going to use his his um name in the movie because it doesn't show his name in the movie, Chris Jericho and the girl that plays the clown cafe worker talking.
zachary smith: He wants some brains. She gives him brains that his wife made him. It was like jellied brains and a pastry or whatever.
Lex: it was It was a Halloween themed treat kind of thing, so it looked like brains.
zachary smith: Yeah, so she was running. She was making her round and she comes across Victoria Hayes' room screaming.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: She checks on Victoria Hayes. Victoria Hayes has given birth.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Not to a baby.
Lex: Nope.
zachary smith: to art the clown's head.
Lex: because his head was just decapitated.
zachary smith: Yeah, so the reason why she has the head and why this, I'm gonna go into another theory, is the small pale girl the in the second one, she disappears with this head at the end of the movie before the mental hospital scene.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: What I think happens is because that little girl's a demon, she went to Victoria's body.
Lex: Mm -hmm.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: with the head.
Lex: Oh, okay. And that's why she gave birth to Arthur Cloud's head. That's actually good.
zachary smith: yeah Yeah, and that's why Victoria is now the the um host and also the um come i guess co in the next one or partner of Art the Clown.
Lex: Post.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: and you don't see what happens but then you see the nurse freaking out you see Chris Jericho grabbing a walkie -talkie and running to the room telling somebody over the walkie -talkie hey get over here there's an issue in Victoria's room and he's like hey I'm on the shitter he's like I don't care what the fuck you're doing get your ass down here then he turns the corner goes in the room and he sees Art the clown and Victoria eating the nurse just eating her
Lex: Right.
Lex: and
Lex: The nurse. Just eating her.
zachary smith: Okay, Terrifier 2 was an incredible movie in the aspect of storytelling, I believe.
Lex: Oh, yeah.
zachary smith: Because it tells Sienna's story not fully, not to the extent that you think it would be, but full full enough where you get an idea of who she is, who Jonathan is, you get in more of a background in Octoclamble just a little bit, and you see the return of Victoria Hayes.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Um, then during the scene, then where he jumped to the third one.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And by the way, Terrifier 2, I'd probably give it one of the better ratings. I'd probably give it an 8 .5 out of 10.
Lex: Okay. And why is that? Just because of the storytelling or the background or what?
zachary smith: That and how good of a performance Sienna, Jonathan, and Art the Clown did.
Lex: Um, I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm gonna... I'm gonna disagree with you on this. I would give the rating a 6. The only reason why is I'm not... I'm probably gonna get hate for this. I'm not really a big Sienna fan.
Lex: I feel like she gives me Kirsten Stewart vibes.
zachary smith: You think she's giving you Kristen Stewart vibes?
Lex: Yes. Yes, all the the the the mundane look, the foreshadowing of like just just always despair.
zachary smith: um
Lex: It's never a good thing. it it just I get it. It's a horror film, but like I want to feel more of her personality, not her just being anxious all the day of time.
zachary smith: Oh, absolutely. And I think the more of the personality comes out in the third movie.
Lex: It does. It does.
zachary smith: um Um... Jonathan, he was more inexistent in this movie. He was more obsessed with Art the Clown than anything.
Lex: He was just, yeah, but in the third movie, Jonathan's just there because he was the only one besides Sienna that was there that experienced it.
zachary smith: Yeah, and the reason why I got such a high rating is because of... Sienna was a mouthpiece of this movie. She was a big part of this movie mouthpiece -wise.
Lex: but she was
zachary smith: She basically
Lex: she She was, but she was intentionally put as the main character. You know what I mean? So when you're a main character, you're of course going to get the spot license and ah spotlight and seen as a mouthpiece.
Lex: I think i that that's why I said, I mean, you disagree. I mean, it's okay to disagree. I'm just saying.
zachary smith: Oh yeah, absolutely.
Lex: It's just for me personally, I don't think she should have been the main character. I think the main character should have been more on Victoria.
zachary smith: Um, I disagree on that one because what but what happened with Victoria, she was a victim.
Lex: Yeah, and so is Sienna. She didn't choose her fate. She didn't choose to be here. She didn't choose to be the one to have the sword and have the this destiny, this prophecy to be fulfilled that she'd be the one to stop Art the Clown.
zachary smith: Yes.
zachary smith: Oh, absolutely. But Victoria also has that victim. um She basically goes into the third one um a lot more. And also it's in the first at the beginning of the first movie.
Lex: I know the sister of Tara at that point, though.
zachary smith: um No, I know. But she has victim.
Lex: She doesn't have survivor's guilt.
zachary smith: ah What is it called when you survive something and you think it should have been you? Yeah, she has survivor's guilt, but she also has a twisted fascination and love for Art the Clown.
Lex: That's because he's a demon has her possessed, not because she has an actual liking to him. And if you listen to the movie, they go into depth about how she's the host and you even hear her say to the nurse before they even eat her, he's making me do it.
zachary smith: Oh, I know. And it it's because the pale little girl took over her body. The thing that really doesn't say much in the movie, what's the theory is you could tell who the host is with their eyes.
Lex: Yes, and when their eyes are a bright yellow, I think.
zachary smith: Yes.
Lex: Okay.
zachary smith: Because what they think is They think that some of the rumors, and this is before we go to the third one because we're trying to make it a little bit longer than our last one and we're we're about where we want to be.
zachary smith: and We about have about 18 minutes left and we can just go to the third one because we already made a lot of the theories already known.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: The theories are that Yeah they jump host to host but they think anybody that comes in contact with Art the Clown has a piece of that of that of the yellow eyes like that he can control anybody he came in contact that survived.
Lex: Right. Okay.
zachary smith: um
Lex: I see that.
zachary smith: So the third one happens. Okay, so we'll go into the third one. So before the film even happens, off screen, and this is gonna be important because it it ties to somebody's backstory, Smokey from the bar, you hear that his wife died before the events of the film off screen. It wasn't shown, but it was mentioned. And then the first, the the it doesn't start like it did in the second one, at least at first.
Lex: Mhm.
zachary smith: So the opening act was you see a, a little girl running into her in her parents' room and saying, Hey, I hear footsteps on outside.
zachary smith: Her mom's like, Oh, it's nothing. Go back to sleep. She's like, Oh, I think it's Santa Claus.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: She said, go back to sleep. so And then she tells her daughter to go back. So her daughter goes back in her room, goes to sleep. And then she hears the door open.
zachary smith: And she hears Art the Clown. She sees him, but she doesn't know. She thinks it's Santa because Art the Clown is dressed as Santa Claus.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: um And you see him with his trusty trash bag.
Lex: Love that one.
zachary smith: Putting presents under the tree.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Foreshadowing what the presents have in it later in the movie.
Lex: Mmhmm.
zachary smith: um But then when he turns around, he has an axe in his hand. The girl gets terrified. The little girl gets terrified, goes and tells her brother, hey, Santa's here, gets freaked out, goes and hides.
Lex: Mm.
zachary smith: So you see Art go up the stairs and you can see the little girl at the base of the stairs looking up at Art.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Art has no idea she's there.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: He goes into a Timmy's room.
zachary smith: And you just hear stab, stab, stab.
Lex: Done.
zachary smith: Then you hear like mutilation, like him cutting something.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: You see what happens, but you see him walking out of the, of the, uh, Timmy's room, axe completely covered in blood and him bloody.
Lex: No.
Lex: yep Yep.
zachary smith: Then you see, then you just hear, slash like an axe hitting and you and you just see the mom sleeping. She's like, what's that noise?
zachary smith: She's like, be quiet, be quiet. And then she lifts up her arm and it's bloody.
Lex: Yeah, it's covered in blood.
zachary smith: it Then she wakes up and Art the Clown is hitting her husband in the neck with an axe.
Lex: What the fuck?
Lex: She's screaming, screaming.
zachary smith: Yeah.
zachary smith: And you see this one because it is bloody. He is decapitating the hell out of this person.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And you see her running. You see her going to Jimmy's room. He's all over. His body parts are all over the place because Art the Clown cut him up and threw him everywhere.
Lex: Everywhere scattered.
zachary smith: And like I was saying in the earlier, you don't see this happening because kids are usually off limits when it comes to that.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: And supposedly the rumors are during this process during' in this scene, a lot of people walked out of the theater.
Lex: Really?
zachary smith: Yeah, because of how incredibly gory her his dad's death was how he died but also how jennifer the mom dies because what happens is after she leaves those her son's room she tells her little girl to run and hide she's trying to get down there trying to get out of the door but the door's locked because earlier in the film
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: She says, why was the door unlocked to her husband? You you forgot to lock the door. And I think that's how art got in them the in the house in the first place. And I think he was hiding behind the either off in the distance or behind the tree.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Don't know where, because it doesn't show exactly where he was hiding. So Jennifer comes down, tries to open the door, can't.
Lex: Mmm.
zachary smith: And she gets stabbed in the back with an X.
zachary smith: And he is he cuts half of her arm ah or her arm off.
zachary smith: um picks up the axe and slams it in her head, splits half, and she he also hit her in the stomach, so it's sliced open, her arm chopped off, um but he brutalizes her as an axe murderer in front of the tree while her daughter is watching.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: what they don't see and what people are debating to this day. After Art kills her the mom, he goes and eats the cookies and milk. You see him washing the glass and washing the the plate, putting it up and then he hears a noise coming from the cabinet. Opens the cabinet, there's Juliet. And then you see him having a big smile on his face and then darkness.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: We don't know if she he kills Juliet with the axe or what.
Lex: We don't know what happened.
zachary smith: We don't know what happens. um And then there's also another person, um and it looks like they called him Officer Evans. He was killed by Art the Clown's body off screen, the head was shown.
zachary smith: Don't remember exactly when the head was shown, but then the ni their nurse,
Lex: ah
zachary smith: Um, I guess this was all in the mental hospital because there's also a nurse that, um, face was bitten off by the clown. The body was shown. That was it. So I do remember two bodies on there. That wasn't the nurse that went into Victoria's room. And then you see Adam Burke, AKA Chris Jericho. And this is where um the ending of the second one into the third one.
zachary smith: where he is screaming, yelling, and then you see the Victoria Hayes come up and grab him by his jaw and like ripping his jaw.
Lex: Mm -hmm Yeah, I so i remember
zachary smith: And and you see arts spot then you see Art's head, like a little freaking ankle biter, biting his ankle. And then his body, and then you see Art's body come up and rips his face off. Dead.
Lex: ye
zachary smith: um Then it starts the movie and you see Art and Victoria getting on a train. And then you see Art the clown cosplayer.
Lex: yep oh when he gets oh yeah that i thought that was funny
zachary smith: Where he's like, oh, you your your guys are costing so good and they honk the horn. and they And Victoria and Art look at each other. Then went then it went ah blank.
Lex: Yep, it went blank.
zachary smith: Obviously they killed him because after the scene ends and the new scene happens, you see him walking into the house with a new clown suit.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: I don't know exactly what house this is because I don't think it really is shown.
Lex: It doesn't show. I think it's just in an abandoned house.
zachary smith: I think so too and then you see Art the Clown go upstairs. grabs the rocking chair, looks out the window, and then they made they said it's a homage, or homage, or whatever you call it, homage to um the Amityville.
Lex: Mm -hmm.
zachary smith: Because if you notice in the attic, that the um the window is the same one as Amityville.
Lex: Okay.
zachary smith: And then you see Victoria going in the basement, saying, oh, you're so pretty, you're so pretty, breaks the mirror, gets in the bath, slits your own wrists.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: um ah for her forearms with a glass shard.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: then it cut Then you see art just keep rocking, rocking, and then you see a scene where you see Dennis and Maurice Jackson talking.
zachary smith: where they're talking, hey, we need to demol demolition this house. And they're talking about, oh, is this house about the the massacre, somebody that killed a lot of people? Oh, no, it's just a rumor. well Supposedly, the rumors are that they were actually foreshadowing Art's backstory.
Lex: Oh, okay.
zachary smith: So they're thinking, since Art is a clown, they're thinking he got fired from the circus that he was in the in the second one because he killed a lot of people.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: So that's what people are theorizing, wasn't confirmed. I wish we had Damien Leon to actually tell us, because I think that would be awesome if he would join a podcast.
Lex: right
zachary smith: But anyways, so you see them joking, Maurice Jackson and Dennis. Maurice goes downstairs while Dennis goes upstairs. And if I'm not mistaken, Dennis is also in another movie.
zachary smith: Hold on to me, just double check because it may,
zachary smith: three He is in another movie. ah Let me find out because he it's also an homage to another movie.

zachary smith: Who has done it? Jonathan Abrams. Okay. Because he's in another, I think he's in another Christmas movie because for some reason they decided to have Terrifier 3, a Christmas film.

zachary smith: So Jonathan Abrams was in House of Wax and Scary movie.
zachary smith: So his character was homaged to one of those, I think it's a House of Wax, ah but his character was the same one in the Terrifier movie. um Going back to Maurice.
zachary smith: So Maurice goes up down to the basement, finds Victoria in the bathroom, in the bathtub, been dead a while.
Lex: Mm -hmm Right It's like it said five years years later
zachary smith: because he doesn't say it. I don't believe it tells you how long after or set the sat down the time was. It had to be a little bit longer because um and Jonathan is in college now. Did it say five years? Okay. So Marie sees Victoria in the bathtub. He tries to call up to Dennis. Obviously there's a paranormal things happening and can't hear Dennis.
zachary smith: Can't see Dennis.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: um And then, Maurice gets stabbed in the neck by Victoria with a glass shard. And then she stabs him off the screen.
zachary smith: Then you see ah Dennis messing with Art the Clown, trying to get Maurice to come up because he's found somebody. And then this is where it gets a little interesting and a little gory, in my opinion.
Lex: I mean you're not wrong.
zachary smith: Um, no worries. We're almost done. We'll rush this one. Um, what happens with Dennis was he gets his ah he is stabbed in the hand with a nail.
zachary smith: And then you see Victoria masturbating with a glass shard. This is why I say it's brutal.
Lex: that looking wild and she was getting off on that shit. She was she was literally stabbing her fucking vagina, y 'all. Stabbing that shit like you would use a dildo.
Lex: I'm sorry if there's kids listening, I'm sorry. But like like how a grown woman would use a dildo kind of thing, she was going ham. And she acted like she finished.
zachary smith: yeah
Lex: Like like she finished, like she got off on it.
zachary smith: Yeah, and he got and she got off of it right when he scalped him with a box cutter and slit his throat.
Lex: Mm -hmm.
zachary smith: And then obviously Sienna finds her family and she gets out of it. It's a lot of filler because then you meet her sister, you meet her uncle, and then you meet her, or her brother -in -law and then you meet her niece.
Lex: You need the story.
Lex: Yes.
zachary smith: um And then it comes, and then I'm gonna skip over that because it's a lot of filler.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Um, then you see art, the clown at his work bench again.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: I think the the house was whatever house he was in the first one when he was getting dressed. I think that's what it is.
Lex: Yes, that's what I think so too. I think.
zachary smith: Um, but you see him making a specific device and it was to freeze things.
Lex: Mm hmm.
zachary smith: It was with liquid with nitrogen. Um, and I'm going to skip over the rat because that was kind of fucked up and brutal. ah But then it it sees ah shows Art the Clown running or walking to past a bar.
zachary smith: But he sees um three people that are in there in Santa Claus.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: So he walks he walks in and you see Smokey, Eddie, and Charles. Charles is Santa Claus. Eddie is the bartender and Smokey is the guy that his wife died in and he's in the bar.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Long story short, he they confront Art the Clown or Art the Clown confronts them. Obviously he doesn't talk whatsoever. um And they offered to buy him a drink and then he pees on Santa Claus's leg.
Lex: That was fucking fun.
zachary smith: So they freak out and they push ah they push him out. They throw his bag. What I predicted in the first podcast where it weighs thousands of pounds because they couldn't get it up.
Lex: It took two men to lift his bag and toss it at him.
zachary smith: Yeah, it was just a trash trash bit trash bag.
Lex: like a regular
zachary smith: And then you see him shoot Eddie in the neck with the gun, because he's he's fiddling with his bag.
Lex: yep
zachary smith: And then Smokey's like, oh, no, no. And then he shoots Smokey in the head, finishes this off Eddie with the gun, goes to Santa Claus.
Lex: yep
zachary smith: He's freaking out, doesn't kill him with the gun, ties him up, and uses liquid nitrogen to break his limbs.
Lex: Yeah, that was diabolical. I would have never thought of that. and i
zachary smith: He sprays in with the liquid nitrogen and then he hits the leg with the freaking with the ball peen hammer and it shatters like glass.
Lex: Dude, and crazy. And I was thinking to myself, if you're using liquid nitrogen, wouldn't that like coagulate your blood to make it like more solidified once you smack it?
zachary smith: Mm hmm.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: Okay, so let's skip over, then it shows a bunch of scenes where Sienna has to go to the mall.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: This is the topic I wanted to show ah to get to the most.
Lex: Okay.
zachary smith: The mall. Because that mall scene, it was it was crazy. It's something that I never would have expected in a million years that would have been in a movie.
Lex: yeah
zachary smith: What happened? And this is one of the deaths that we'll just go into in depth because it's it's kind of ah a big thing just in general. He goes to acts like Santa and gives presents out to your little kids.
Lex: Yeah, at the mall, like how you would go and take your kids to a mall and take a picture with Santa on Santa's lap. Yeah, he went into the mall and pretended to be Santa pretty much.
zachary smith: Yeah, he pretends to be Santa. And then they find out, and then the elf's like, that's not Santa Claus. That's not our Santa Claus. So security grabs him, takes and leaves and ah drags him out.
Lex: that's not
zachary smith: Art's cursing, but he doesn't talk. And then he does his little shriek. And then all of a sudden, as soon as you see a little kid say, oh, what did I get?
zachary smith: Opens the box, blows everybody.
Lex: but Blows that shit up. It was a big ass Nope
zachary smith: close everybody up, you see little kids dying and parts flying everywhere. You would never have thought that would have happened. And that's all we were gonna say about that because there's only one, two, three, four, five, six, six more deaths. So it will be quick. So the next death was a very important character, at least in the beginning of the film, her name was Mia. Her and Cole, her boyfriend were having sex in the shower.
Lex: Oh yeah. That was a good scene. I ain't gonna lie. I was like, you. That got steamy. Okay.
zachary smith: I think it's the new but this is why you bring this up because so Mia dies because I will first Cole gets his hand and fingers sliced off with the chainsaw Mia has an obsession with art the clown by the way like a healthy obsession

Lex: cheese yeah Yeah, so we give her background real quick. Mia has a podcast and she goes to college with Jonathan and she oversees Tiana and Jonathan talking at the college.
Lex: She's a big fan of Art the Clown. She knows Tiana's story, asks Tiana if she wants to do a podcast. Tiana's not really with it.

Lex: And typically, before the scene even came, Art the Clown overheard a conversation where Mia and Cole were talking about how she wants to know what it's like to look into Art's eyes, smell him, know what he's like because she's so captivated by the story.
zachary smith: Yes. Absolutely.
Lex: So, the scene.
zachary smith: Yeah, and I think he did it more brutal to her at the end or ah her death because she said she didn't want to sleep with him.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Because if you notice, Art the Clown got a little excited saying, oh, hey, how am I against them?
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: I might get some. but
zachary smith: So cool cut back to what happened. So Cole's in the shower. They're obviously having sex. And then all of a sudden, Art the Clown comes in with a fucking chainsaw, cuts his hand, cuts his finger, and then slices his leg.
Lex: Cuts his hand, cuts his finger.
zachary smith: He did jumps out of the shower. And then he cuts off Mia's breasts, hips, arms, sliced scalp but sliced off,
zachary smith: um and rips off her jaw. And then for some reason, but he he's wearing the sunglasses that are red.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: It looked like a star or like a hand and then he pulls him down and shows his face to Mia and Mia freaks out But she can't do anything. She's she's still was dead, but she knows that that the a mild city clown That's cuz that's what his name is in the movie but Art the clown killed her then she dies and um You see Cole crawling So art pulls his leg but it pulls it off because it's not he already cut it off and
Lex: Yeah.
Lex: um Yep.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Then he grabs the chainsaw and goes up main street with it.
Lex: yep yep you see his booty cheeks get sliced shredded art the clown when i was going through all the shit i was going through like look
zachary smith: You guys see his booty cheeks? You see his dick? You see his balls? You see all that completely get cut.
zachary smith: He gets shredded. It is the craziest scene. It is so freaking bloody too.
zachary smith: Hey, don't call that motherfucker. You don't want that guy in your life. Come on, we all know that.
Lex: Alright, damn! Go ahead. said yeah
zachary smith: Yeah, so then it then um during the mall scene, Sienna freaks out, jonathan that her ah then ah math or Greg calls, Jonathan tells him, his sister's freaking out, and to cut then he's gonna come get her.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Greg is waiting for Jonathan, Jonathan's asleep, and then Greg sees Art the Clown.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: and gets decapitated and disemboweled. It was off screen.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: You see his body later. And this is where it gets weird. So during the last series season, and we're kind of rushing through see ah the third one because it's not, it's more of a holiday movie, but also it sets up for a fourth one.
zachary smith: So there's not a lot to talk about in this one.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: So the scene is Yannick gets um basically Jesus to a chair i don't know what the I don't know what they called his headdress, the one that had the thorns. I forgot what it was called.
Lex: ah I don't know what it's called, but I know, okay, if you if you want to know what it's, think in reference to Jesus when he was a sa um but crucified on the cross kind of thing.
zachary smith: On the cross. Yeah. um And in that scene, Greg Shaw's body is Jesus on the wall.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Sienna's Jesus Donna chair where she has her hands basically duct taped and then put the crown that has thorns pointing on the inside instead of the outside on her face and that was because Victoria Hayes did did that and Then they show two skulls one that says oh, it's um, Jessica it's um Gabby and then Jessica freaks out and they pull another one and saying it just Jonathan and A lot of, because it has his glasses, a lot of people are speculating that that might not be him because it never showed how he died.
Lex: Yep. Yeah. Up on her head. Yeah.
Lex: Right. I thought that too. I think, I don't think he's dead. I don't.
zachary smith: I don't think so either because that's a he's a major part of the story.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: Then you see Jessica Shaw. How she died, they shoved a plastic tube, rammed a plastic tube down her throat with a hammer is her throatless life is open and had a rat go down it.
Lex: So, in reference to you guys can know what he's talking about. If you guys ever watch South Park, episode of your slave shows a tube up his ass and shows a hamster in that tube.
zachary smith: oh South Park. Oh my.
zachary smith: Yes.
Lex: It's the first way, only it's down her throat and they're shoving mice down her throat. Go ahead.
zachary smith: Yeah, and and they, and her, ah him and victoria um Victoria were using a blowtorch for the rat to go in them and the body.
Lex: Yes, because they hate. Yeah, yeah.
zachary smith: um Then you see Sienna asking, Victoria's asking Sienna, oh, do you want to open a present before you die?
Lex: Yes.
zachary smith: And she said, yes. And she tells what one to grab, but Art is impatient and starts smashing her fingers with a hammer.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: So she's trying to open this present and she, at the beginning of the movie, she puts the present under the tree. But Gabby catches her because Gabby in the movie, because we overcharge the whole thing, Gabby likes to snoop.
Lex: Yeah, she's a big snoot. So like but we didn't go over the filler ball, brush brush over it really quick. So basically, earlier in the movie, the parents of Gabby were telling Sienna, oh, last Christmas, we had to keep finding new presents to hide it you know and because she kept looking at it.
zachary smith: Yeah.
Lex: So basically, Gabby saw the present that Sienna put under the tree and opened it and then re -wrapped it. Go ahead.
zachary smith: Exactly. So Gabi tells them where it's at because she was snooping and Sienna knew she was snooping because she also read her diary that was also in in it because she lists like all the clown cafe and everything but we didn't want this episode to be five hours long because we got a more in -depth with everything.
Lex: but Yeah.
zachary smith: um And then as soon as she, she's like, oh, this is all I want. This is what I wanted for Christmas. She pulls out the sword, slices art the clown and throws the, so and throws, I believe either she throws the sword or she stabs Victoria in the chest and in the mouth.
zachary smith: And then it decapitates her.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And then she like disintegrates into ooze and opens a portal to hell or wherever it is.
Lex: I think it's hell, but...
zachary smith: I think it's Hell 2, but then you see Art the Clown throw Gabby in the portal.
Lex: Yep, got it.
zachary smith: And Sienna tells her to grab the sword, and Sienna's grabbing this the sharp side while she's grabbing the handle, and Sienna can't hold on, and Gabby and the sword falls, and Hell and the portal shrinks.
zachary smith: And Art the Clown jumps out the window.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: Then at the end of the movie, you just see Art the Clown in ah in a bus, staring at a female that's reading a book.
Lex: Yep.
zachary smith: And then it ends. We don't know what happens to Jonathan. We don't know what happens with ah with um Gabby. We don't have know what happens to Sienna. This one, it was, a with a glory perspective, it was better than all three.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: It was...
Lex: A lot more and lot more detail. A lot more blood.
zachary smith: Well, absolutely. I think this one had the best depth with how he he killed Cole.
Lex: Yeah. Yeah.
zachary smith: And I think that's, the i I brought this up earlier in a different podcast that his death was grew more brutal than the one that got shot in half from the vagina. um And you don't you don't hear anything else. Like this movie was, I think it's very good. um Honestly, it'd probably be an 7 .5 or eight.
Lex: I agree.
zachary smith: for me, just because it doesn't it doesn't end. um And since the fourth one's not until 2026 or 2027, I think it's 2026. We don't know what's happening.
Lex: Nope. I will say though, if if you're into gory stuff and you're in you and you you know, you like that kind of, it has some kind of bits of humor touched into it too, just with his facial ah interactions and what he does, small, silly moments.
zachary smith: Yeah.
Lex: If you're into that kind of thing, I do, so I do recommend the Terrifier series.
zachary smith: Oh, absolutely.
Lex: It's it's really good.
zachary smith: And if you want a Christmas movie, a christmas Christmas horror movie, this is probably the best Christmas horror movie ever released. I mean, you got like Jack Frost, you got like Krumpus, you got all these horror movies, but none of them as brutal.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: You don't see kids dying in any of those movies.
Lex: Nope. If you want to scare your kids to go to sleep earlier, I strongly recommend.
zachary smith: Yes, and I also will strongly recommend nobody under the age of 18 watch this movie.
Lex: Yeah, no. If you are under the age of 18, have someone with you, you know.
zachary smith: Yeah, have somebody with you because when I was telling you ah Lex earlier in the podcast, it legitimately had people running out of the theater.
Lex: If you got a weak stomach, don't do it.
zachary smith: And it was...
zachary smith: Yeah, don't do it. But that's the review of Terrifier 2 and 3 with theories um sprinkled around because um it was gonna be a longer podcast episode, but we it's hard to do theories of a movie that the fourth one's not even announced yet.
Lex: ah
zachary smith: um And I went over the theories that Lex had and that she had any, ah do you have any other theories or anything that you think or want to know more about? Because I i watch those movies all the time.
Lex: Right.
Lex: right I think the only thing with the Terrifier series so far, just because we haven't seen the fourth one, the only thing I'm curious about is I'm really dying to know more about art's backstory. I want to know how you became art.
zachary smith: I do too. um And it kind of gives you a little sprinkles from the second and third one where they're saying he could have been a killer clown in a circus.
Lex: Right.
zachary smith: And also um you see that ah during the second one, when Siena is dying, you get a very small glimpse, but you see a demon and an angel or an angel Mary making the armor, not the sword, the armor.
Lex: ah The armor, not the sword. Okay.
zachary smith: So I guarantee in the fourth one, she somehow finds her way to hell and gets the armor from that from the angel.
Lex: I think so too. Cause when I remember that as well, I thought that was cool as fuck. I was like, wait a second. Why is that? Cause I was like, why is that stack so familiar? I was like, Oh wait, I'm sorry.
zachary smith: Yeah, it's a Virgin Mary.
Lex: I was like, Oh shit.
zachary smith: Yeah. Yeah, so that was the reviews of Terrifier 2 and 3 and the theories. we have The next series we are going to go over and we're actually pushing it to next week um would be the um Devil's Reject Saga.
Lex: Yes.
zachary smith: Mine and Lex absolutely love the movies so we'll will go a deep dive in um House of 1000 Corps and we'll make it three different episodes so we're not overdoing this because all three of them deserve their own movie or their own review.
Lex: Yeah, they do.
zachary smith: And there's no theories with this one because that it ended.
Lex: Yeah.
zachary smith: House of 1000 Corps, Devil's Rejects, all that, there's only three movies.
Lex: Yep.
