July 27, 1981 - 6 year old Adam Walsh disappeared.

His mother had left him with a group of children in the toy department at the local Hollywood Hills Plaza for less than ten minutes.

When she returned, Adam was nowhere to be found.

Sadly, his severed head would turn up a few weeks later.
