Extremely wicked, shockingly evil and vile are words we've all heard describe Ted Bundy. This episode we discuss Ted Bundy's heinous crimes and the lives of his victims before they were murdered. His killing spree supposedly began in January 1974 and went until February 1978 when he was finally apprehended. We discuss his escapes from jail (yes, escapes plural), his trials (yes, trials plural), and the bitemark evidence that finally put him away. Unfortunately, we don't delve into the "science" of forensic odontology since we covered it in Episode 25, so if you care to learn more about the inaccuracy of bitemark evidence you can go listen to that episode.
There is a listener’s discretion advised as there are detailed descriptions of assault, sexual assault and some of his victims were children. Even though he was a necrophile, we did not go into that.
