Today's podcast marks the end of term and the end of this podcast season. I take you through the journey of my challenge to create a daily weekday podcast through the school term, and reveal if I've successfully crossed the finish line.
In this episode, I reflect on the challenge I set for myself at the start of the term: to create a daily podcast every weekday throughout the school term. As I wrap up this season, I can't help but beam with pride over some of the wins.
From being ranked among the top 5% of podcasts globally to reaching number 3 in the top 25 Strategy podcasts in Australia, there are many victories to celebrate!
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. There were definitely days when I had to push myself to think harder, to find new content ideas, and to keep going even when the end seemed far away.
But, having an end date in sight was super helpful. It gave me something to work towards and helped me prove to myself that I could stick to a commitment. And yes, I did make it to the end!
Looking ahead, I'm excited about the opportunity to bring more voices into the mix by inviting guests and sharing more of their knowledge with you. I also plan to increase the repurposing of my podcast and potentially change the frequency of episodes.
Key Takeaways:
🔑 Having a clear goal and an end date in sight can be incredibly motivating.
🔑 Even when things get challenging, pushing through can lead to surprising wins.
🔑 Looking ahead, I plan to bring more voices into the mix by inviting guests onto the podcast.
🔑 Repurposing content can be a great way to reach a wider audience.
Thanks for joining me on this journey; I can't wait to see what the next season brings.
I'd love to hear your feedback on what you'd like to hear more of in future episodes.
Tune in next time!
