Born and raised in Bremerton, WA (Go South Kitsap), Willie Bloomquist played collegiately at ASU and then was drafted for the 2nd time by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 1999 MLB Draft. As a lifelong fan of the Seattle Mariners, Willie was the ultimate team player from afar and played literally every position except for pitcher and catcher.
