Australians are living longer, the population is ageing, and long-term economic growth is expected to slow. It's a combination that raises some big questions about retirement — including whether Australians will have enough money to maintain their standard of living.
In the latest episode of Fear & Greed's weekly series with MLC Expand, Sean Aylmer speaks with Liz McCarthy, CEO of MLC Expand, about the implications of the Federal Government's Intergenerational Report, why younger Australians are taking a greater interest in superannuation, the prospect of working longer, and what we should all be doing now to prepare for retirement.
This episode is part of a weekly series brought to you in partnership with MLC Expand, exploring retirement, investing, financial advice and the future of wealth management.
