TMI Project’s biggest event of the year is back after a three-year hiatus! Join us for the celebration at Voices in Action on September 28th, 2023. This award ceremony and storytelling showcase will leave you inspired, whether you attend in person at the Senate Garage in Uptown Kingston or join us virtually via live stream. Oh, and did we mention it’s free?

This year, our national honoree is Jay Jackson, who you might know as Laganja Estranja, the world-renowned drag performer and trans activist who graced the stages of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Not only will she receive the Voices in Action award, but she’ll also perform her stunning drag choreography for us!

Along with Jay, we’re also recognizing local Hudson Valley community leaders Mariel Fiori, Jessieca McNabb, and Meridith Robb, as well as Hudson-Valley-based film and storytelling organization HUDSY.

Voices in Action will also feature stories that were developed in our virtual writing workshops over the course of the last three years when our performances were sequestered to Zoom rooms.
