Even though the Sooners let a 17–0 lead slip away in their semifinal loss, the broader takeaway was clear: OU was officially back in the national conversation.
Now the focus shifts to 2026. With momentum in place, a challenging early schedule looming, and key young talent returning on both sides of the ball, expectations in Norman are climbing once again.
