Speaker: Hello and welcome to how to get started with API contract testing, the podcast series. In each episode, I'll be speaking with industry experts on the challenges they face in testing and microservices. My name is Lewis Prescott, also known as Pacman Consulting. I'm currently the QA lead at Cerakare, one of Europe's fastest growing companies in healthcare. I've run a 99 minute workshop for the Ministry of Testing on introduction to contract testing.
Speaker: Not also author courses, including API testing with JavaScript on test automation university and appeared on a couple of other podcasts such as test fear roulette and testers Island discs. Talking about contract testing is one of my favorite topics. And the question I often get asked is how do I get started? So that's why I decided to create this podcast.
Speaker: There are great tutorials online on the PacFlow website, but there's also nothing on the non -technical side. And what I mean by that is the organizational, the cultural, the sales pitch that you need to make in order to start using contract testing. Questions like, do you need buy -in from the whole company? Do you need the developers bought into the idea? Those kind of topics I'm going to discuss with my guests.
