00:01:53
Speaker
Okay, let's all shut up, please.
00:01:54
Speaker
Warning.
00:01:55
Speaker
The podcast you are about to hear is often based on true events and people.
00:02:00
Speaker
It chronicles the dialogue and actions of random, anonymous, obnoxious, self-entitled, unintelligent, self-centered idiots.
00:02:07
Speaker
Attention whores, ignoramuses, dolts, clods, nimrods, douches, weirdos, drama queens, overly sensitive crybabies, and people who think they are better, more important, and special than the rest of us.
00:02:18
Speaker
In one word, amateurs.
00:02:20
Speaker
Hmm.
00:02:22
Speaker
It's Amateur Nation with Lou Santini.
00:02:25
Speaker
We call attention to and call out the amateurs.

Pride, Virtue Signaling, and Parenting Challenges

00:02:28
Speaker
The people who are doing life wrong.
00:02:30
Speaker
The speed bumps of life.
00:02:32
Speaker
The people that are in your way every day.
00:02:35
Speaker
The unintelligent, obnoxious, attention whoring, self-entitled drama queen victim types who chipped away at the moments of your life due to no self-awareness, common sense, manners, or social skills and are disturbing the flow of the pros.
00:02:50
Speaker
Hi, Mom.
00:02:50
Speaker
Oh, hey, Lou.
00:02:51
Speaker
Amateur Nation.
00:02:52
Speaker
It's not just a podcast.
00:02:53
Speaker
It's a movement.
00:02:54
Speaker
And this is episode 253.
00:02:57
Speaker
Amateur Nation.
00:02:58
Speaker
Not smart, just loud.
00:03:01
Speaker
On today's episode, why pride in Amateur Nation is, well, amateur.
00:03:06
Speaker
Millions each year are killed by hurtful emojis.
00:03:09
Speaker
And this week in New World Order crap that we told you was coming way back when they pressured you into wearing masks and getting the untested gene experiment.
00:03:16
Speaker
Then, are you going to eat that on a la carte?
00:03:19
Speaker
And just when you've given up hope, I hit you with three things that are done right on Three Pro Things.
00:03:26
Speaker
As always, shouts out to Pro Nation first, Robbie Goldfinch, Charlotte, Rob Lachelt, Yvette Reese-Griffith, Dean Poidovin, Jay Barsky, Justin Taylor, Ryan E. Lawn, and Christopher Walton all following me and checking my stuff out on Instagram.
00:03:42
Speaker
You can do the same, lou.santini3.
00:03:47
Speaker
Your post of the week, and it's a mic drop for sure, posted by Shane Zettelmeyer on Instagram.
00:03:52
Speaker
This quote said by Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cooper.
00:03:56
Speaker
If violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it.
00:04:02
Speaker
The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury.
00:04:07
Speaker
Therefore, what he must be taught to fear is his victim.
00:04:13
Speaker
Here's what's happening in Amateur Nation.
00:04:15
Speaker
Now dig this.
00:04:16
Speaker
Step one.
00:04:17
Speaker
Topic number one.
00:04:20
Speaker
Let's talk about pride.
00:04:21
Speaker
No, I don't mean the LGBTQ LMNOP parades and flags.
00:04:25
Speaker
Well, kinda.
00:04:26
Speaker
I'm talking about this overall virtue signaling of being supposedly proud of whatever it is you come from, believe in, subscribe to, adhere to, or practice.
00:04:40
Speaker
Alright, let's start with the amateurs protesting and marching in support of Hamas.
00:04:45
Speaker
These mostly millennials marching in protest supporting Hamas.
00:04:48
Speaker
Make no mistake.
00:04:50
Speaker
These are not Hamas supporters.
00:04:52
Speaker
These are misguided, sad, unfulfilled, brainwashed amateurs, some of which who are bribed and who are on to the next thing against which to protest.
00:05:03
Speaker
It's fashion.
00:05:04
Speaker
It's trendy.
00:05:05
Speaker
Don't agree?
00:05:06
Speaker
Where was all this fervor before Hamas?
00:05:09
Speaker
The war in Israel.
00:05:11
Speaker
Why no protests then?
00:05:13
Speaker
Why didn't we hear about freeing Palestine until now?
00:05:16
Speaker
For the same reason these amateurs didn't know about Ukraine or George Floyd.
00:05:21
Speaker
The media didn't tell them to be angry and George Soros wasn't funding the protests.
00:05:26
Speaker
Period.
00:05:27
Speaker
Shame on you, absent parents.
00:05:30
Speaker
Beyond pathetic.
00:05:32
Speaker
And now this proud to be whatever nationality or heritage you are.
00:05:36
Speaker
Proud to be black, proud to be white, Laotian, an Eskimo, proud to be gay, trans, non-binary, bow-legged, left-handed, an allergy sufferer, whatever.
00:05:45
Speaker
That's all well and good.
00:05:47
Speaker
But what about this?
00:05:49
Speaker
Can you really be proud of something fictional, faked, or something of which you have had no control over?
00:05:56
Speaker
I understand being a proud American because that means you understand and appreciate the rights and privileges and the freedoms that you have, and you understand the responsibility that comes with protecting and preserving those freedoms, rights, privileges, or responsibilities with it, whether you were born here or earned your right as an American and passed the citizenship test.
00:06:19
Speaker
But to be proud to be a race or color that you had no control over is no different than being proud to be the height that you are.
00:06:28
Speaker
You can't control your height besides putting on some heels.
00:06:31
Speaker
Okay, when the World Cup comes on, cheer for your country, but I'd cheer for other countries too based on their skills, never their race.
00:06:37
Speaker
You could be proud that you lost a lot of weight, proud to be a hard worker, proud to earn that raise you got, proud to be a veteran, having served your country and having made the ultimate sacrifice, even if you didn't engage in battle.
00:06:50
Speaker
Let me be clear about that.
00:06:51
Speaker
Proud to be a good dad, a good mom, a good husband, a good wife, a good son, a good daughter.
00:06:58
Speaker
Proud to be a good provider for your family.
00:07:00
Speaker
Proud to be the first in your family to graduate college.
00:07:02
Speaker
Proud to be on the dean's list.
00:07:04
Speaker
Proud of your familial work or lifetime accomplishments.
00:07:08
Speaker
Proud to be a pro.
00:07:10
Speaker
Proud to be a good employee, a good boss.
00:07:12
Speaker
Proud to be an ethical business owner.
00:07:14
Speaker
But enough with being proud to be things that you have no control over.
00:07:18
Speaker
You didn't accomplish anything.
00:07:20
Speaker
You were born.
00:07:20
Speaker
And now this.
00:07:22
Speaker
And now for step two.
00:07:24
Speaker
Topic number two.
00:07:27
Speaker
It's time for This Week in Amateur Nation Week This.
00:07:31
Speaker
Saw this everywhere on Instagram.
00:07:33
Speaker
This amateur millennial who says that Apple needs, his words, needs to ban the meat emoji because, take a guess, it's offensive to vegans.
00:07:44
Speaker
Would a prepubescent girl be able to kick your ass?
00:07:47
Speaker
Needs, folks.
00:07:48
Speaker
Apple needs to do this for him.
00:07:51
Speaker
It's critical, crucial for humanity because this coddled boy pretending to be a man who didn't get enough attention or actually probably too much attention and coddling as a child now speaks for all vegans.
00:08:04
Speaker
Listen to this no life literally has zero problems in life, can't bench press a cell phone size, extra small baby gap t-shirt with still plenty of wiggle room wearing amateur plead his nothing case.
00:08:15
Speaker
Those emojis honestly should be illegal.
00:08:17
Speaker
I've been emailing Apple every single day to remove the meat emojis from the iPhones, and they're not doing it.
00:08:24
Speaker
I don't know why they're not doing it.
00:08:26
Speaker
I've been emailing them every single day to stop putting the meat emojis in the phones.
00:08:32
Speaker
Like, it should be illegal.
00:08:33
Speaker
It's offensive to me, and it's triggering to people like me who are vegan.
00:08:38
Speaker
It is so triggering, and I don't know why they don't take them off the iPhone because they're so triggering.
00:08:44
Speaker
They are so triggering.
00:08:46
Speaker
Some of this isn't your fault.
00:08:48
Speaker
I mean, a man can only take so many wedgies before he goes to pieces.
00:08:52
Speaker
Good job, parents.
00:08:53
Speaker
By the way, you can love your kids and be a bad parent.
00:08:56
Speaker
Just because you procreated doesn't mean you're good at parenting.
00:09:00
Speaker
In most cases, the love is built in when you have a child.
00:09:04
Speaker
Being a good parent.
00:09:06
Speaker
That takes time, skill, discipline, patience, monitoring, and don't forget intelligence.
00:09:12
Speaker
And it's a lifelong job.
00:09:14
Speaker
There are too many free-range children out there who are now adults.
00:09:19
Speaker
Well, they're children in adult bodies, like this amateur.
00:09:23
Speaker
How hard would you like to punch this young amateur?
00:09:25
Speaker
I know, it's hate speech and ego violence and toxic masculinity and climate change and somehow I'm sure it's racist.
00:09:31
Speaker
Here's the good news.
00:09:32
Speaker
Even though you would like to punch this embarrassment to his parents, you wouldn't have to.
00:09:36
Speaker
All you'd have to do is cock your arm back while making a fist and he'd start bleeding.
00:09:40
Speaker
Maybe Darwin was right.
00:09:42
Speaker
Nature really does weed out the nimrods.
00:09:43
Speaker
This is the target audience of Hamas.
00:09:47
Speaker
Democrats, Bill Gates, the WEF, the CDC, all entities that deal in fear.
00:09:55
Speaker
Fear works on the most easily scared, the weak, the physically and mentally and emotionally weak, this paper cut of a human being.
00:10:04
Speaker
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
00:10:06
Speaker
He and his kind won't live past 40, which is what the NWO wants.
00:10:11
Speaker
They need them alive long enough to vote and protest and cause distractions.
00:10:15
Speaker
And don't forget to consume.
00:10:17
Speaker
But they sure as hell can't use them as workers unless they work from home in the dark because light triggers them.
00:10:24
Speaker
Why can't an amateur say something like this while I'm on stage or in my everyday life?
00:10:29
Speaker
Easy answer.
00:10:30
Speaker
These amateurs only spout off like this behind the safety of the internet and on social media, filming their crises in the front seats of their Nissan Leaks, or is it Leeds, or most likely their parents' basements when their parents are at work.
00:10:44
Speaker
Actually, their parents are at a bar drinking to forget about the lifelong mistake they made in creating these drains on society.

00:11:53
Speaker
This is my way of saying thank you to the pros who listen to this show every week.

00:13:05

00:13:07

Topic number three.
00:13:08
Speaker
Hit me!
00:13:12
Speaker
It's time for... This week in New World Order crap that we told you was coming way back when they pressured you into wearing masks and getting the untested gene experiment.
00:13:20
Speaker
Yes, it's a long title.
00:13:22
Speaker
First up, as found on Mind of Resistance on Instagram, Satan's mentor, Klaus Schwab, with this word salad of evil.
00:13:30
Speaker
Notice how he speaks for all of Earth.
00:13:33
Speaker
Notice how he never gives a public speech in America?
00:13:36
Speaker
Never has a debate with opposing viewpoints and experts?
00:13:39
Speaker
Insulated much?
00:13:41
Speaker
Listen to this thumb look-alike.
00:13:43
Speaker
We have now a window of opportunity to create this global reset which we all need.
00:13:48
Speaker
This global reset is necessary because we have seen that our policies which we pursued before the coronavirus struck us, that those policies do not create the necessary inclusion of society necessary for harmonious societal development.
00:14:11
Speaker
And they do not create the sustainability of what we are doing.
00:14:15
Speaker
Just think of the global warming.
00:14:17
Speaker
Technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.
00:14:20
Speaker
I'm thinking here of artificial intelligence.
00:14:23
Speaker
I'm thinking of the Internet of Things, of the new capabilities we have with genetic engineering,
00:14:31
Speaker
Those technologies have been very much advanced by the pandemic.
00:14:37
Speaker
We know that many of the world's problems can only be solved if we apply new technologies.
00:14:45
Speaker
And I'm happy to see China putting high importance on developing its four industries.
00:14:55
Speaker
We have a great opportunity at this moment, like we had after World War II, to have in some way a new beginning in our global cooperation, in globalization, in managing our global affairs.
00:15:12
Speaker
Oh, he's fun, right?
00:15:14
Speaker
And he loves what China's doing.
00:15:16
Speaker
No shit.
00:15:17
Speaker
He said, we are in this window of opportunity to create this global reset.
00:15:23
Speaker
Oh, you mean until Trump gets back into office and or while the world isn't quite on the verge of mass revolt.
00:15:29
Speaker
A global reset, which we all need.
00:15:33
Speaker
You know, all I've been talking about for decades with my friends and family is, when the hell are we going to have a global reset already?
00:15:40
Speaker
What are we waiting for?
00:15:41
Speaker
You just can't go anywhere without people asking for it and wanting it, right?
00:15:46
Speaker
He said it's necessary because the policies before with coronavirus didn't create the inclusion of society.
00:15:53
Speaker
Okay, well, that explains basically nothing.
00:15:55
Speaker
Isn't it great how one man on Earth has the solution for a better life?
00:16:00
Speaker
The problem that they caused didn't solve their problem that they caused.
00:16:05
Speaker
And still, with the global warming, he almost said it like he believed it.
00:16:09
Speaker
He spoke of it like he's reading his grocery list.
00:16:12
Speaker
You'd think if it was so dire, he'd have a little more urgency in his voice.
00:16:16
Speaker
Oh my God!
00:16:17
Speaker
The Earth is getting so hot!
00:16:18
Speaker
I can see the bottom of the ocean a mile out!
00:16:21
Speaker
Mount Everest has no snow on it!
00:16:23
Speaker
Hide!
00:16:23
Speaker
Run!
00:16:24
Speaker
Genetic engineering?
00:16:26
Speaker
That is a good thing.
00:16:28
Speaker
Just look at the great results and successes of the untested gene experiment.
00:16:32
Speaker
No mistakes there.
00:16:34
Speaker
And all the greatly improved mental health of the transgender sexual reassignment surgeries and hormone treatments on children.
00:16:40
Speaker
And who doesn't love a nice, thick, medium-rare synthetic steak?
00:16:43
Speaker
Motherfucker, you assholes can't even cure the common cold.
00:16:46
Speaker
Oh, hey, Klaus?
00:16:47
Speaker
Your mother sucks fucking big fucking elephant dicks.
00:16:52
Speaker
You tell him, Joe.
00:16:55
Speaker
In other oppression news, more lies from the World Economic Forum about the digital euro.
00:17:01
Speaker
Here's president of the European Central Bank, Christine, no really, I've seen a penis once, Lagarde, saying you will have a choice when digital currency makes you a slave.
00:17:11
Speaker
The digital euro is on the move.
00:17:14
Speaker
Yesterday, the governing council of the ECB approved the opening of the preparation phase.
00:17:22
Speaker
It will be a journey.
00:17:24
Speaker
and we will walk the journey together with the legislator.
00:17:28
Speaker
All European institutions will be involved to make sure that Europe is equipped with the currency of the future.
00:17:37
Speaker
Cash is here to stay.
00:17:40
Speaker
You will have all options, cash and digital cash.
00:17:46
Speaker
So what does it mean for you?
00:17:49
Speaker
For consumers, it would be free and easy to use
00:17:53
Speaker
Everywhere in the Euro area.
00:17:57
Speaker
All of that, of course, is subject to the legislative process.
00:18:01
Speaker
Cash or digital, the choice will be yours.
00:18:06
Speaker
Your Euro, your choice.
00:18:08
Speaker
I don't know what the heck's going on here, but someone needs to get their asses kicked.
00:18:13
Speaker
Every person in the WEF is such a dynamic, positive, warm, happy person, aren't they?
00:18:19
Speaker
Remember when the people of Europe voted on that?
00:18:21
Speaker
Remember when the idea of digital currency was brought up in a public forum for any and all of Europe's citizens to sit down with these tyrants and ask questions about it and then vote on it?
00:18:31
Speaker
Me neither.
00:18:32
Speaker
Now I'm off to watch V for Vendetta.
00:18:35
Speaker
And if cash is here to stay, and they will have a choice, then what's the point of introducing an entirely new non-bank backed currency?
00:18:44
Speaker
Oh, that's right, convenience.
00:18:46
Speaker
Yeah, convenient for the controllers of it.
00:18:49
Speaker
Hey, Christine.
00:18:49
Speaker
Take a big step back and literally fuck your own face!
00:18:54
Speaker
You tell her, Tom.
00:19:03
Speaker
Okay, time for some bite-sized nibbles of Amateur Nation.
00:19:06
Speaker
It's time for a la carte.
00:19:07
Speaker
Here we go.
00:19:09
Speaker
I notice we're still calling it Black Friday.
00:19:12
Speaker
What, no whining, Amateur Nation?
00:19:14
Speaker
No outrage?
00:19:15
Speaker
Protests?
00:19:16
Speaker
Looting?
00:19:17
Speaker
Where's the looting, children?
00:19:18
Speaker
Wait, I'm sure that's coming.
00:19:22
Speaker
Why are we used to our phones eavesdropping on our conversations?
00:19:27
Speaker
Why are we used to having our privacy invaded at every turn?
00:19:31
Speaker
We talk about something with friends on our phone, show ads, or posts in line with our conversation.
00:19:36
Speaker
That should simply be illegal, period.
00:19:40
Speaker
Back in the day before the internet, if you talked about something and five days later something came in the mail about the same subject, you would have lost your mind.
00:19:47
Speaker
It's science run amok.
00:19:49
Speaker
The country that taught the world how to eat, Italy, has become the first nation in the world to ban Bill, trust me, it's edible, Gates' fake synthetic meat.
00:19:58
Speaker
It's wrong on humans and it's wrong on animals.
00:20:00
Speaker
Looks like Italy has told Bill Gates, sukiallo, that he'd suck it.
00:20:05
Speaker
Oh, did you know all social media fact checkers are pedophiles?
00:20:10
Speaker
Here's a quote I found.
00:20:12
Speaker
America is not sending their best and brightest to Washington, D.C.
00:20:17
Speaker
Hey, I didn't say it.
00:20:19
Speaker
I know it, but I didn't say that.
00:20:21
Speaker
Guess who did?
00:20:22
Speaker
Pennsylvania Senator John How Do Pants Work Fetterman.
00:20:26
Speaker
Body positivity, a.k.a.
00:20:29
Speaker
body denial.
00:20:32
Speaker
Childhood-ruining corporation Disney is delaying Snow White until 2025 after they got heat for their Woke remake.
00:20:39
Speaker
And they scrapped their diversity creatures.
00:20:43
Speaker
Snow White and the seven diversity creatures.
00:20:45
Speaker
They scrapped their diversity creatures in favor of CGI dwarves that look similar to the original.
00:20:50
Speaker
What is this shit?
00:20:52
Speaker
Here's an idea, overpaid Disney execs.
00:20:55
Speaker
Simply remaster the audio and video of the original Snow White and re-release that.
00:21:01
Speaker
Watch the money flow in for a fraction of the cost.
00:21:04
Speaker
By the way, Disney Plus has merged with Hulu because it wasn't enough to ruin their own company.
00:21:11
Speaker
I admit it, this episode's about a 10 on the old snark-o-meter.
00:21:15
Speaker
All right, time for three pro things, three things that are done right.
00:21:19
Speaker
Number one.
00:21:28
Speaker
First up, this pro thing is a reveal of America's youth going to college, posted by Heritage Foundation on Instagram.
00:21:38
Speaker
This is important.
00:21:38
Speaker
Listen up.
00:21:39
Speaker
Campus radicals, what do they do for a living?
00:21:41
Speaker
What careers do they go on to?
00:21:42
Speaker
Well, we've looked into it.
00:21:43
Speaker
Jason Bedrick and I were curious about where all these campus radicals go when they leave school.
00:21:49
Speaker
Now they're marching around and chanting in support of Hamas.
00:21:54
Speaker
Every Palestinian is a citizen, even if they hold arms.
00:21:58
Speaker
Do they go on to responsible careers or do they end up in their parents' basement?
00:22:02
Speaker
Well, we got some idea of this by going back and looking at a sample of 300 campus radicals.
00:22:07
Speaker
And we looked at what do they do after they graduate?
00:22:10
Speaker
What kinds of careers do they go on to?
00:22:11
Speaker
And we found that 38% of them went on to careers in education, 28% in higher education, 10% in K-12.
00:22:18
Speaker
This is twice as many as go into careers of activism.
00:22:21
Speaker
This is the long march through our institutions of campus radicals going on
00:22:26
Speaker
to become teachers to recruit more campus radicals.
00:22:28
Speaker
So if we want to put an end to this, then we're going to have to recapture our institutions of learning and turn them into places that serve our values and that actually focus on education.
00:22:39
Speaker
Number two.
00:22:44
Speaker
Well, it makes me sad to report this.
00:22:47
Speaker
but happy at the same time because it is a pro thing and one of my favorite things in life.
00:22:52
Speaker
Sadly, the 2023 NHRA season is over, but it was a great season.
00:22:57
Speaker
The final race happened in Pomona, California, November 12th, and man, that was a great final day of racing.
00:23:03
Speaker
I was really rooting for Greg Anderson in pro stock, but Erica Enders earned her sixth world championship.
00:23:10
Speaker
Watching new Pro Stock Motorcycle World Champ Gage Herrera and Eddie Krawick exchange revs at the starting line put a smile on my face.
00:23:18
Speaker
Clearly, Gage Herrera is the new measuring stick in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
00:23:23
Speaker
I called it way back earlier in the season, but it really was no surprise to anyone.
00:23:28
Speaker
In one word, domination.
00:23:31
Speaker
He also had to set the track record at Pomona on his way out.
00:23:34
Speaker
Matt Smith Racing had a rough year, but the big story, in my opinion, is his wife, Angie Smith, who just a month or so ago crashed at 198 miles an hour, breaking both feet and needing skin grafts, and has been on the bike in the last two races of the season.
00:23:51
Speaker
Meanwhile, Amateur Nation whines about the pronouns.
00:23:54
Speaker
Angie Smith is one badass woman.
00:23:58
Speaker
Then there's my favorite up-and-comer, funny car driver Chad Green.
00:24:01
Speaker
Had he had a few more bits of good luck slash good breaks in the regular season, he would have been in the top three and I'd look for him to be a serious threat next year.
00:24:10
Speaker
Seeing him win in his 50th drag race ever at Pomona and help Matt Hagen snag the Funny Car World Championship due to the points all in the same day,
00:24:23
Speaker
Made for another smile-inducing day.

Spotlight on NHRA 2023 and Chris Wintrip

00:24:26
Speaker
And Matt Hagen now is a four-time Funny Car World Champion.
00:24:31
Speaker
And while I would have been fine with Matt Hagen's teammate Leah Pruitt winning in top fuel for the rarity of two classes owned by the same team winning a world championship in the same year, a team that has very young ownership in Tony Stewart, she threw down and has no reason to hang her head.
00:24:49
Speaker
Both gave a great drag race.
00:24:50
Speaker
I was thrilled for her.
00:24:52
Speaker
for legendary drag racer Doug Kalitta.
00:24:55
Speaker
26 years of racing, six-time world champion runner-up, and he finally got the big trophy.
00:25:03
Speaker
I love two things on drag racing, the underdog and the old guy.
00:25:07
Speaker
This win is an absolute example of perseverance.
00:25:10
Speaker
I've always said drag racing is all about life lessons.
00:25:13
Speaker
Other drivers may have had more world championships, but to me, it means more.
00:25:19
Speaker
that he stuck it out and competed against a younger field that often sports better reaction times on the line.
00:25:24
Speaker
Other drivers might have given up and walked away after 10 or 20 years of coming up empty and trying.
00:25:30
Speaker
With just a few weeks left in the season, Doug Coletta had a tire that blew up so hard it destroyed his car.
00:25:36
Speaker
And he had to finish the season in a backup car.
00:25:39
Speaker
In fact, he had to go to a backup car in the same day in the next race.
00:25:44
Speaker
And he had been driving that backup car since.
00:25:47
Speaker
No biggie.
00:25:48
Speaker
Best thing that ever happened to him.
00:25:50
Speaker
The man personifies level-headedness and professionalism.
00:25:54
Speaker
He is well-respected.
00:25:55
Speaker
This legend deserved a world championship.
00:25:58
Speaker
It's like the circle of drag racing life came full circle.
00:26:02
Speaker
And Leah Pruitt will be back, make no mistake.
00:26:06
Speaker
And let's not forget how the NHRA saluted our veterans and the sportsmanship displayed by all those who lost and got eliminated as they congratulated their opponents.
00:26:15
Speaker
You don't see that much in the big four sports.
00:26:19
Speaker
Let the drag racing hangover begin.
00:26:21
Speaker
231 days until I hear this glorious sound at Norwalk, Ohio.
00:26:26
Speaker
And don't forget, God drives top fuel.
00:26:36
Speaker
Number three.
00:26:39
Speaker
I talk a lot about aggravating, tense, and yes, negative stuff happening in America and the world on this show.
00:26:44
Speaker
This is why I always end the show with three pro things, even if it means something positive that calls out the negative.
00:26:52
Speaker
But I also like to bring to light good, honest, positive products, services, events, and any other artful, creative endeavors.
00:27:00
Speaker
If you listen to this show regularly, you know I'm a metalhead at heart.
00:27:03
Speaker
But I listen to all types, genres, and styles of music.
00:27:07
Speaker
When I worked at my third radio station, Rock 107 WRQK in Canton, Ohio, I did everything I could to get many local rock bands on the air and help them put bodies into the rock clubs where they performed.
00:27:18
Speaker
Well, now that I have this show, I like to make the most of that opportunity again.
00:27:22
Speaker
This time, giving some airtime, so to speak, to a very talented musician in Northeast Ohio, Chris Wintrip.
00:27:29
Speaker
Chris is the founder of the Guitar Academy, and as he describes it, the Guitar Academy began in my living room when a handful of my students and friends got together to work on their guitar-playing chops and live music scenarios with other guitar players, bass, guitar, and drums.
00:27:45
Speaker
The idea bloomed and expanded rapidly.
00:27:48
Speaker
The Guitar Academy's mission is to orchestrate all genres of music, giving the students a chance to perform and learn to improvise while developing their skills and learning the theory behind the music.
00:28:00
Speaker
Now, Chris Wintrip recently released a single on WKM Records entitled Ruby, composed by Chris Wintrip and Kevin DeSimone.
00:28:08
Speaker
It's described as a funky, upbeat groove that'll get your toes tapping.
00:28:12
Speaker
Chris's son, Chris Jr., is on drums, Warren Henry on bass, Robert Estelle on sax, and Robert Johnson on keyboards.
00:28:19
Speaker
Chris says that his passion for music is inspired by his love for his wife, Kelly, and their family.
00:28:25
Speaker
Here's Ruby by guitarist Chris Wintrip featuring Bob James.
00:28:30
Speaker
I'll tell you where you can get more info on this talented man after the song.
00:31:33
Speaker
You can go on YouTube and search Chris Windtrip Ruby and like it.
00:31:37
Speaker
Also, windtripband.com.
00:31:40
Speaker
On Facebook, it's Windtrip Band Official.
00:31:42
Speaker
And on Instagram, windtrip underscore band.
00:31:46
Speaker
And on X, at windtrip, W-I-N-T-R-I-P.
00:31:53
Speaker

00:32:16
Speaker
Because Amateur Nation is not just a podcast, it's a movement.
00:32:21
Speaker
Remember amateurs, we see you.
00:32:24

Don't do life wrong.
00:32:27
Speaker
Go pro.
00:32:28
Speaker
Don't be an amateur.
00:32:30
Speaker
For Amateur Nation, I'm Lou Santini, and this has been a big major production.
00:32:38
Speaker
Your mother sucks fucking big fucking elephant dicks.
